Before I start - you have to give this place extra brownie points due to being one of the only places that is consistently open late at night. I was not expecting to go to this pizza parlor, but since it was open nearby my apartment and me and some friends wanted to grub, we went here... and I left 100% satisfied. The pizza itself leans on the expensive side (i believe the box was ~30 dollars!) but the quality spoke for itself the moment that I bit into it. WOW!!! Been coming here on & off since 2021. QUALITY WENT DOWN!!! Horrible pizza. My husband and I could NOT eat it. Check photos. I'm in shocked how bad this pizza was! Before, the only problem I had was the older gentleman (I think he's the owner of this family business), he was always making mistakes. Tonight was no different, he forgot the ranch I paid $1 for. So the bad is, the pizza itself was dry. The sausage was hard and I know from experience that when you reheat certain meats it gets hard and dry. The crust was also hard like cardboard and dry. If you see in the photos you can tell that it is either overcooked or old pizza. What in the f??? When you took a bite, it tasted like it was old even though the pizza was warm. The cheese was not stretchy, not that I expected it to be but at least taste like fresh new pizza? They've got a big selection by the slice, which makes it way too easy to keep trying new combos. I went for the Greek slice with both marinara and pesto--such a great flavor mix. Seniore's is dishing up pretty decent pizza. I would say the crust exists somewhere between a thin crust and NY slice. It was fluffy and doughy in the middle with a thicker, substantial crunchy bottom and crust. Pros: they are super generous with the toppings! The cross section of my slice was almost an inch thick! The slice was huge and the pizza wasn't excessively oily at all. They also took 10 mins to make the slice, so it was very fresh. Cons: $6 for a slice is definitely not comparable to $1 NY slices or Costco. The sauce was nothing to write home about. I could barely detect the sauce in some bites because it was dolloped sparingly. Overall, this will definitely scratch your pizza itch. But, it's definitely not the best I've ever had but it's also far from being the worst. read more

I had my eye on this Haight Seniore's Dinner Special ( Large 16" 2-topping pizza, 2 liter of coke, garlic bread, and any small salad for 36.99) for a longgg time before coming getting it this week here with a friend. Pro tip, this deal does not seem available at the sunset seniors, but if you order online at the Haight one you can receive it! Ordering online was very easy, and they give you a window of time when the food will be ready, there is also a live tracker but it did not seem to be super accurate for us. We were told the pizza was ready at the beginning of the window, but after walking in they told me a little longer and I ended up there another 10-15 minutes until the end of window (Not bad, but going forward I will probably wait to head in until the end of the window) The food was delicious! We liked everything at the table, unfortunately as you may see in the photos, the salad was left out of our order, so probably tip would be to just make sure your entire order is there before leaving! I was pretty impressed with the taste and portion size for the late night order. I think I only ordered 1 cheesy bread but got what seemed like 2! Late night when there are many options you can't go wrong with this place. However I ordered minestrone soup, and 1000% what I got is from a can of Campbell's. ONLY in canned soup do you see carrots squared, I looked it up and it's exactly the same. I think the restaurant should disclose if/when they aren't actually making the food themselves (most people expect fresher from a restaurant). I can't tell with the meat balls if they are a previously frozen or made in house, but they did taste good, I was hungry and jet lagged and needed food late night after just returning from Europe. Limited seating, small bathroom, little kitchen that you see as the whole place is like a corridor. they have many pizza options with toppings, or you can make your own. My ex and I used to love getting the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and the fried cheesecake from here all the time, but I don't know since when the pasta is not as good as I remember it anymore. The last time I ordered from their store at 19th Ave, the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken literally comes with a lot of purple onion pieces, so gross, ruining the whole thing. That's why I ordered from here this time, and even tho it didn't come with onion pieces, it's still not as garlicky and flavorful as I remember, and it's CRAZY OILY. So much excess butter that you feel sick after couple of bites. I poured some out after I reheated it the second time, and what's shown in the picture is not even most of it. I ended up wasting most of my garlic bread cuz I put it in the leftover pasta and it soaked up so much oil that it's inedible. The Caesar salad is pretty good and a good portion for the price. I guess I'll still order from them sometimes when I'm craving for fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and fried cheesecake and I'm lazy, but definitely not as often. I cannot tell you how much I love this place! The pizza is fluffy, soft and delicious. I got the Mario special large pizza 16" with two toppings and I found the veggies to be very fresh! They are always consistent. It fed 4 adults comfortably. The people who work there are kind and treat you like family when you call. They sometimes they offer halal meat options. No delivery fee or ridiculous minimum when you order for delivery (don't forget to tip well readers bc gas is expensive!) I will whole heartedly say that I love Seniore's Pizza and would even top some of the known Pizza Chains in SF. All in all the food is always great and I've never had an issue in regards to taste etc. The underlying issue I do have with the place is delivery and stating on delivery Apps that the items have been delivered. I've called in the past regarding pizza deliveries that either were shy of an hour late and also even almost not arriving at all. My good friends uncle does indeed work at the establishment which I give the place a really huge benefit of the doubt. But throughout the 8x I've ordered with Seniores 5/8x were orders that were most to always 30-1hour late. It sadly has been one the reasons why I try my best to not order online or via app or over the phone anymore because food does not arrive on time. Thankfully food is always coming in Hot and given the extra amounts of appetizers but overall I'd say it's best to order from here via pick up or just walk-in. read more
