The pizza here is delicious! I ordered the pesto with red pepper, that came with goat cheese and olives. It was very good, and I also didn't feel gross after either, which I do sometimes when I eat pizza. It also came out incredibly fast. They didn't skimp on cheese or olives either, which I appreciated. Looking forward to trying their other pizzas.

Pizza was a little small for $16. It was decent, nothing to rave about. My kid said that it was really oily, but finished his 2 slices. Outdoor seating so better on a warm day.

The pizza is pretty good. On the greasy side but flavorful. The crust is thin and crunchy. Had a nice cheese pull. My favorite was the pesto and breadsticks with the marinara dip. The breadsticks are actually just a cheese pizza cut into squares lol. Was not a fan of the balsamic pizza. Overall a decent pizza spot and good for a quick bite at spark social.

Prosciutto, Pear and Gorgonzola Pizza - Small 10"

Ordered ahead thru Uber eats. Got the prosciutto pear and Gorgonzola cheese pizza and a sun dried tomato, goat cheese with added red pepper and sausage pizza. They make them on a thin crust and even after eating a whole 10" pie, I didn't feel heavy. I thought they both had a fair amount of toppings though I would have liked a bit more cheese on both. No cheese pull here. Located at Spark Social there is plenty of outdoor and covered seating area. They also give you a packet of Parmesan cheese and red chili flakes which is pretty standard.

An extremely overpriced $17 pizza that had the taste of a grocery store. I was desperate for something to eat on a rainy night, and man, did I make the wrong decision. The sauce was so watery that the toppings fell off and the crust was so tough and chewy it was like eating taffy. Overall, just horrible pizza.

I don't love it, nor hate it. Firetrail pizza sits perfectly right smack in the middle of the measuring scale. It is not extremely good nor extremely bad. The dough is handcrafted and made fresh daily they say, but you cannot tell because you cannot see what they do inside. By simply looking at the finished product, you still cannot tell because the shape is perfectly round like the ones you buy from the grocery store. It lacks imperfection and burnt bubbles of fermented dough that you get from traditional wood fired ovens. The taste is just okay, nothing extraordinary. Will I be back? I don't know, because i don't love it nor hate it...

Small 10" Margherita Pizza

They have food truck in SF spark social and it's great for a $11 meal. Spark social doesn't have many (or none) Italian options but I'm so glad I found this truck - they serve a 10" pizza which is good enough for a meal and it has a crispy crust and a thin base with flavorful basil which is exactly how I enjoy a good margherita. It is my goto truck when I'm at Spark Social especially when I'm not feeling adventurous

Situation - Lunch at Spark Social, February 2020 - I ordered a Margherita Pizza - Cost of pizza: $11 (with tax: $12.19) Overall - The pizza was decent, not great, but nice enough for a lunch - I wasn't a big fan of the dough, I felt it was a bit bland and a bit dry - They were able to take people's orders and get the pizza's out fairly quickly - I think the portion size was decent

Pepperoni, pineapple, and jalapeno special with added sausage.
Binh P.

Normal tasting pizza, but a bit bland. They do load up on the ingredients. I got the daily special which was a pepperoni, pineapple, and jalapeño pizza. I added sausage for an extra $2. The pizza came out quickly. I'm biased because I'm so used to having the pizzas from "Dough" on Market Street, and it's hard to beat that piece of perfection. But if you're in the Mission Bay area, this is the only pizza around.

Sausage and mushroom

$17 sausage and mushroom No complaints. Thin, freshly cooked pizza. Pizza took about 6 min to cook.

I ordered the - Buffalo Wings - How Mushroom The buffalo wings were delicious and although on the pricier side, was just good enough for me to overlook it. It comes with green onions as a garnish with a Bleu cheese dip and carrot sticks. The only negative thing about this was that there wasn't enough carrot sticks. The How mushroom was recommended to me by a staff member and I thought was just a little plain; it was on the more bread side which I'm pretty sure is the standard for Detroit style pizza. In all honesty, I wish there was a bit more toppings to accommodate the amount of bread to topping ratio as this felt more of a cheesy bread sticks from Pizza My Heart. My favorite thing about this place is there were chilled glasses with taps for still water and sparkling water, which was free. In honesty, the sparkling water is an essential need to kill the grease in our meal. Overall, the staff were pretty friendly and helpful during the ordering process, the pizza itself wasn't for me. Would I come again? Only if I'm craving pizza and happen to be in the area.

Especially given that we were bringing in our own birthday cake to have and share among our friends that night. Service was generally polite but a bit sparse given how busy it was. I specifically asked whether the kids' pizzas were small personal sizes or large enough to share, and was told they were personal-sized. Unfortunately, we ended up with more food than we could realistically finish and essentially paid for a pizza that went to waste, which was frustrating. The food itself didn't quite meet expectations based on the reviews. One of our pizzas also came out slightly undercooked, but the kids were too tired for us to send it back and wait for a remake, so we just made do. Overall, the experience was just okay, especially compared to other pizza spots we tried during our trip. After visiting places like Tony's, which we loved, this one fell short for us. The restaurant was busy and had a decent energy, and others may have a better experience depending on timing. For us, though, it's not a place we'd return to.

It was my favorite for 50 years until a couple weeks ago when I ordered a delivery of Gioia. Wow. I stayed over in The City again this past weekend and had Gioia delivered again Saturday. I designed my own pizza with a Margherita Pizza base and then added pepperoni, Calabrian chilis, and anchovy on the side...well done/crispy. The roasted tomatoes are key...depth of flavor, umami-heaven. I'm a pain in the ass, so I call to make sure my pizza is made to spec. The staff, led by Kait, is unparalleled in their willingness to help. I just cannot recommend Gioia enough. I wish there were one in the 925, but Berkeley is as close to my home as a Gioia is based so far. I've not had a pie from Berkeley, but I believe Gioia is completely committed to maintaining the quality of their pizza. Nothing else comes close IMO. I know there's no zealot like a convert...but I'm not just being a fan boy. Oh yeah...the arugula-avocado salad is YUM, and the dressing for it like crack. DO not forget to check the box for utensils. I did not...California is a request the utensils state...and that's how I know how committed Gioia is to customer service: Kait, CALLED ME today after she'd heard I was frustrated. I can't imagine a customer not being thrilled with Gioia.
