Let's face it most of the time your having Air conditioning problems it's when it's a 110 outside and you need to find a reasonable , reputable company that knows what they are doing without taking you financially. He was very thorough in making sure he identified the necessary modifications to the airflow in the house to get the most out of our investment. The gentlemen who came out on Thursday was Damien D. He had a partner, but I can't find his name on the receipt. The were kind, fast, and seemed very knowledgeable. They came and left before I knew it. And so far, one day, it is super cold and we've seen no problems. We have recently replaced our HVAC system with a Trane sixteen SEER five ton unit. Sure Temp were not the lowest quote that we received but were the best value for money and we were not disappointed. I chose "Sure Temp Air Conditioning"solely based on the 5 star reviews. I called for service on the two AC units in my house. Guy answered and sounded a bit distracted so I offered to call at a later time. No, all good. Just had five lines ringing at one time. I explained the reason for the call and he began to ask for my information. After a bit he states that he can't find me in the system to see my maintenance schedule. I informed him that I was a first time caller. Okay he says and again I state why my call. He informs me that it would be $65 for the first unit and $40 for the second, $105. We schedule for Wednesday, Jan 31 at 8:30. Tech shows up and asks to see the location of the thermostats. He then asks if the temp on the dial is what we normally ran at. Then asks where the access to the attic. Confused, I asked if he needed to know the location of the AC units. We go to them and he informs me. He's not here to service them. I can give them a visual but we usually do these when it's around the 80 degree or so. I told him we moved here a year ago and not sure when and if they had been serviced. And that my thought was to beat the Rush when the temps climb. So what does a heater service really cost? Should I even of had it done? How often is it suggested? I chose to let the tech perform his service on the heater. While he was very pleasant, courteous, and explained everything in great detail. I can't take the chance and call them back for the original service I requested. Who knows what they'll show up for. Does the person answering phones have enough knowledge to make accurate suggestions or did I just call on the wrong day. read more

Tom did a great job of explaining all the items that they were looking at what was going on with the unit and a brief understanding of how the unit works and what to look for. I was very impressed and appreciated that when he turned the unit on and the fan wasn't working he brought me out to see the problem before starting the work. Really put me at ease and showed me the issues with the fan and why it was happening. He showed me what the readings should of been and what my "issue part" was showing (and that there was stuff coming out of it), then showed me what the readings where on the new part. I have had the very best service from this Company. They replaced my indoor air handler due to a coil that was almost as much on an old unit as purchasing the unit. They sit and walk thru options, show pictures of the problem and provide diagnosed solutions. They are not pushy about the more expensive option - just provide the facts. Today I called at 3:30 in the morning- as my house was 86 degrees while set at 77.. I received a call back at 7- they said someone would be out from 9-1. At 11:30 someone was here!!! Steve was the service person. He was very thorough- and communicated with me along the way what he was checkin into issue Before he went outside he spent time telling me what he was checking on that unit. After a bit he explained it was a capacitor- he even brought me the faulty one to see problem and went into detail as to what it does. These guys saved the day today! Record breaking heat of course on the weekend my AC dies. I woke up in the middle of the night to warm air coming out of my AC vents. They came to my house and quoted me $500+ on repairs stating I had two blown fuses and capacitor needed replacing. I thought it was a lot and money was tight. I called another HVAC company. The guy they sent out said my fuses and capacitor was fine. He did some rewiring and he said my fuse in the breaker was not pushed in all the way. It only cost me the service fee and he got my heater working again. UPDATE::::: 3.5 STARS rounding to 4 STARS The owner Keith, a very nice man, has reached out to me several times. We talked and he prides himself on customer satisfaction and workmanship. He has this "I want to make it right!" attitude. I learned that if you have a concern with SureTemp please reach out to KEITH. He will work with you to make sure you are a HAPPY customer. Well, we came to a conclusion that it was an honest mistake by the technician and I was refunded money and offered complimentary services in the near future. Sure Temp responded to my query over a weekend and sent someone out first thing on a Monday to resolve one of my tenant's problems with cooling. Their technician quickly determined the problem was with a clogged air filter, but he got up on the roof anyway and checked out the entire system to make sure there were no other issues. Sure Temp's technician contacted me with the status and sent photos of the air filter and the heat pump. The very long overdue review... I texted Sure Temp on Yelp early on a Saturday and had a response within an hour. I had been living out of state and my condo in Scottsdale was listed as a short-term rental with a local property manger. I told the owner of Sure Temp that the best/easiest way to quote the job was to show up with a 2-story ladder to see the job for himself without having to coordinate with my PM and tenants. Not only did he do it, he came back with a quote 30% lower than the next best price with better units. It's been a year since they replaced both my units and I've recommended ST to several friends and neighbors and my utility bills are about 40% lower than prior year.
