Po boy + chicken and biscuit
    Song S.

So good! We ordered the chicken and biscuit and the po' boy and ate at the benches behind the food truck. Both were delicious. The portions are huge and definitely worth the price. The gentleman running the food truck was also really nice. We'll definitely be back to try more when we're in the area.

Peach cobbler, side of fried pickles, side chick (fried chicken thigh). This is authentic- I'll be back!

Best, most authentic southern food I've had since leaving Louisiana. Great service, too! This is the real deal.

The nicest guy and the best food. I have never been disappointed eating at Surf 2 Soul. Jordan is a magician with fried food - especially shrimp. Generous portions, perfectly cooked, and delicious flavor.

Holy macaroni.... I saw the pics, not even a huge Mac & cheese gal, but had to see if the reviews were true for myself. Yuuuuupp. The chicken Mac & cheese is divine. I've not a clue why it's so good, but it really doesn't matter does it. Serious flavor in both the chicken and the cheese. I'll be hard-pressed not to stop for some every time I'm in Astoria.

BEASTED! Holy Moly, this food truck was so insanely good. The man who runs the pizza shop in the same lot recommended it as we were taking shelter from the rain in his shop. We got the Mac and Cheese and Shrimp Po Boy. Each were around $17 which I thought was a little steep but the portions we got were HUGE so definitely worth it. The guys who ran the truck were so nice. We were ravenous so I was pleasantly surprised when my meal also came with fries and extra shrimp. I do wish the batter for the shrimp has been seasoned a little stronger but aside from that this place is a great pick. The rain put a bit of a damper on things since it is outside, but we did not let that stop us from trying this spot! Love their sign too.

I feel bad doing 3 stars compared to all the great reviews but my fries were not crunchy and I thought the po boy lacked acidity. The shrimp in the grits and po boy were cooked perfectly. The grits weren't my favorite texture wise but the flavor was great. Just overall I had an okay taste adventure. I am the odd ball for the reviews but I have had much better in the south when I visit my family. Staff is friendly. It's worth trying and creating your own opinion on the food. I agree with everyone that the portions are very generous.

Apple hushpuppies with cinnamon spiced butter. Divine.

Food made with love and passion. Food recap: Which came first - savory waffle - chive and bacon. Crispy seasoned fried chicken. Pimento cheese - warm ooey gooey. Dip it in syrup - put a lil hot sauce on it. Fries were EXCELLENT. Fried pickles - savory with a hint of sweet. Paired great with the aioli. Super thin. Crispy. Stacked Mac - perfectly fried chicken, well seasoned, crispy! Mac and cheese - Creamy, smooth, great consistency, perfectly seasoned. Peach cobbler - Perfectly sweet, peaches weren't over cooked, the crumb was delicious and complimented the sauce very well. If I wasn't so full I would have gotten everything on the menu. Will return without a doubt. Chef gave off old soul vibes and truly has something special going on here! This spot is a must.

I came over here to try this place out today and it's 1:41 PM on Tuesday. Food truck is here, but not open... do they keep different hours than what is posted?

My apologies! I've been out on an extended catering gig for the past two weeks. I keep my usual hours unless im off-site. I'd love to be able to feed you possibly at a later date.

Terra welcomed both me and my husband with kindness and provided us with impeccable service. Couldn't have been more pleased, thank you! True props to the chef and crew!!! From start to finish (appetizer-entry-desert) had so much flavor that each and every bite was an explosion of perfectly seasoned and melded flavors. We had the crab cheese dip, house bread and prosciutto wrapped asparagus for our appetizers, my husband had the Ribeye steak and I had the King Salmon. His large steak was cooked to perfection and the flavors involved in the King Salmon concoction left my tastebuds in awe - seriously BRAVO! With no room left in our bellies we of course ordered the strawberry-rhubarb cobbler and pear margarita sorbet. Both were absolutely to die for. With 24 years of military service, much of it abroad, I've had my fair share of both and I'd put both of these at the very top. I'm a foodie and love the joys food can bring to so many regardless of background or origins. We were seated at a window table, which was great. We ordered a couple drinks and a couple appetizers. The crab dip and calamari were amazing. Probably the best crab dip I've ever had. For main courses, I ordered the seared scallops and added prawns to the dish as well as a side of their chowder. So good. Melt in your mouth scallops. The chowder was some of the best I've had. My wife ordered pasta Alfredo with shrimp. She said it was amazing as well. And my daughter ordered the Boullabaisse. I've never heard of it but it's a seafood bowl that is delicious and has many seafoods inside.. almost like a soup. She loved it. Dessert was a chocolate torte and a cheesecake slice. Again, amazing. This is a must go to restaurant if you want upscale in Astoria, Oregon. It is well worth the price. And you cannot beat the atmosphere and service. It is exceptional.

January sounded like a slower season for them, which showed since we were the only diners that evening. Honestly, it made the experience even more special. The waiter, who was also the bartender, was incredible. Unfortunately, we did not catch his name, but he was working on January 10th and did a fantastic job. He was attentive, welcoming, and genuinely great at what he does. On to the food. We started with the fresh baked bread and Brussels sprouts. I never thought Brussels sprouts could steal the show, but these were packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. I ordered the linguine, and my boyfriend had the filet with crab and hollandaise sauce. Both dishes were outstanding and truly next level. The vibe of the restaurant was perfect. Very chic and sophisticated, which felt ideal for celebrating an anniversary. We actually loved that it was quiet because it felt like all the attention was on us. We will definitely be back!
