This company services our community and promised amazing service prior to getting their contract. Upon receipt of their contract, they do not respond to calls from our management company or from anyone else. When they are on site, they are sitting under the umbrella on their phones. (Not work related when you scroll for more than 10 minutes). We are not all stupid to accept that garbage excuse. I personally requested they check on a particular issue that continues to occur on a daily and costing the community a lot of money. The issue is not resolved. If you are looking to throw away your money, this is the company for you. read more

Delaney came out to find a leak in my pool/spa. I was very impressed with her attention to details in diagnosing my issues. I was equally impressed with how she kept a neophyte like me with what she was doing and what she was looking for. I learned a lot from her. I hired this company to maintain my pool and i had a sand filter which requires weekly backwash and they sent a tech who knew nothing about the process and he hooked the backwash hose into the drain and blew out my filter. they would accept no responsibility and did nothing to help me remedy the situation. i had to buy a new filter system. read more

Our HOA of 40 units uses Surf City. They are extremely responsive to text and emails when we need service or repair. Nicolas & Edward have helped us to maintain our pool and spa in excellent condition. The office staff is right on top of any issue we have. As a member of our HOA board we have agreed that they provide service and value and quick turn times. read more

Delaney claims I was at the pool yelling at her to the point that she had to leave the property. This is a perfect example of not only the incompetence, but also dishonesty this company holds in its low standard and low level of professionalism when you claim a customer living in a community as large as ours was at the pool yelling at you ,you should know who that person is what they look like, and be sure that it was them, I have actually gone in the time and labor of my companies website through our HR payroll department and received a full copy of my time punches for that day shows I was not even in the city of Oceanside, which is where the property is located upon reception of this false claims since it's not the first time she's done this I have asked for a copy in writing of the time when she was on site, nobody could get this from this vendor, therefore, how is it possible that you're being honest. This is the most dishonest and untruthful and definitely lowest performing pool company I have seen in our community in the 17 years I have lived here. I would recommend this company to no one For would definitely recommend running the other way, she can keep nothing working. She can't even put a pool light in correctly the first time and if she doesn't like someone in your community. She will make this false accusations without even been able to back them up. read more

I am so lucky I found them! It's Sunday and my husband is out on the fires in CA. My husband is my "pool guy," but the heat and him being gone, the pool started turning green fast! I don't want my husband to come back to MORE work. I called a few companies- no lucky- busy, don't work Sunday, referred me- blah blah....NOT Surf City Pools. They called back fast and I am thankful they were in the area and came out the same day...today! I was given honest information. They are coming out again Tuesday to check in on the pool. The fountain was a custom job installed in the model home prior to us purchasing it, and had many obscure parts/little info about its origin. Me and my wife were extremely unhappy with Dalanne's pool service. She said every other week that something was broken and had to charge us extra.
