Today's special with Turkey greens and grits!

Quick stop to Surf's Up for chicken, greens and grits! Hot and freshly prepared. Located in Randhurst Mall next to the AMC Movie Theatre and Altea Viet Coffee & Tea and near Costco and Home Depot. Staff was friendly and helpful with menu. Lots of seafood and chicken choices. Cool costal decor with inside table & bar seating as well as outside seating (semi-private with the evergreen trees and large tree covering area. It did not disappoint! Thank you!!!

My friend and I both ordered po' boy sandwiches -- she had fried shrimp and I had grilled tilapia. We were both a little underwhelmed by the sandwiches -- they were fine, just didn't have much flavor. They came with enormous sides of fries that were pretty good, but my favorite part of our meal was the side of hush puppies we shared. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I didn't realize how tiny the place is until I ate in there. There are just two tables, and then some stools around countertops that face the windows. Both tables were occupied, so we sat at the counter. Not my preferred location, but it worked out OK. A big perk is that I'd purchased a $15 for $30 Local Flavor deal, so we saved $15 on our bill. Overall, I might try another dish here sometime if I had another coupon/incentive, but I'd be most likely to stop in for an order of hush puppies to go.

Small, clean, new looking building. The lady at the counter provided friendly southern hospitality. Good selection of menu items, and the prices are good as long it's high quality food. I had a grilled catfish po' boy. The fish was good but the ratio of fish to condiments is way off. It was served on a good toasted brioche bun. If I were along the Gulf Coast this would be just average. Considering I'm a long long way from the coast it's not bad. The friendly service raised it to four stars.

came across this place on google maps and decided to check it out! you order at the register and then they bring the food to you. i got the shrimp po boy with fried shrimp (grilled is the other option) and my husband got the fish and chips. i liked my po boy a lot! good amount of shrimp. the fries were also good and not soggy. i sampled my husband's and his was also good. not the best fish and chips i've had but it satisfies the craving! after we were done, we cleaned up and were on our way. the staff also seem very friendly. we'll be back for the next time we want seafood!

    Crab Leg & Shrimp Combo

Flocked over here after many great reviews. Visited here on a Monday night, weather was perfect, sat out on the patio (car and people watched!) Didn't know what to get so got 2 mains: Crab Legs & Shrimp Combo (grilled shrimps). Time to get dirty! Glad I had no on-lookers while I ate, it was GOOD! I added some hot sauce to my butter draw, man o good! THA Bomb Sandwich, That lobster tail meat, o o o! Grilled big Cajun style shrimps were good too! I had a overload on shrimps, got it in both of my meals, I was stuffed!! Recommend: Order the Crab Leg dinner and THA Bomb sandwich so you're not overwhelmed with SHRIMPS! Or just order 1 main :) Food took about 15 minutes to cook up but time flew as the parking provided great entertainment. Even though we sat outside, follow-up service was on point! Note: I was caught digging in my food, butter dipping, shells flying, as customers were walking in :) Coming back.....

A fun and casual restaurant for a quick bite. My favorite dish was the fish n chips; the batter on the fish was light and flavorful. We also really enjoyed the shrimp as they were cooked perfectly. I believe it is a family owned business and they were lovely to talk to. Definitely recommend!

Fried Catfish, Grilled Shrimp, Dinner Roll (2 Fish Combo)

5 stars for Surf's Up - Mount Prospect. This location blows the Lockport location away. The food is excellent and is made to order so it's always fresh, but expect a 10-15 minute wait for your food. I recommend the 2 fish combo - you can either have it grilled or fried, the catfish was my favorite by far. The sides are decent sized portions. It's nice and quiet in the restaurant if you're dining in, the employees are very friendly, I'd recommend stopping in if you're in the mood for some seafood.

This location is not only for take out but you can also dine in. They have a good amount of seating. Since it's next door to AMC, you can park in the same lot. However, if you go at night for dinner, be prepared to drive around looking for closer spots. It didn't take long for the food to come out. I ordered Tha Bomb and chose my lobster tail and shrimp grilled. It came on a garlic brioche bun. The house made Surf Sauce was very tasty. No complaints about the grilled lobster nor the grilled shrimp, they were cooked beautifully. French fries were delicious, nice seasoning that wasn't overly salty. I had a taste of the dirty rice and I found it bland like they forgot to season it. Prices are typical for seafood in this State. Service was decent.

We started with a mango margarita -- I tried it on the rocks and blended -- and both were refreshing without being too sweet & had the right amount of liquor. My boyfriend ordered a michelada and enjoyed it a lot. We had plenty of shots throughout the night as we watched the game and chatted. For appetizers, I got the cold shrimp and octopus cocktail along with half a dozen oysters. The oysters were so fresh that we ended up ordering another half dozen. For our entrée, we shared the Chapuzón, which came with cooked shrimp, octopus, and oysters in a flavorful house sauce that paired really well with everything. The sauce is so addicting, we ordered some rice to enjoy it some more. We finished with a flan that wasn't the typical style you see everywhere, but it tasted really good and was a nice way to end the meal. Danny, the owner, was very welcoming and attentive the entire time. The service was great, and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. Overall, it's a spot I'd definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys mariscos. Ask him about his catering options for the holidays! We were seated promptly in the formal dining room which was nicely decorated. Our semi-circular booth was spacious and comfortable. There were different sections in the restaurant that were more casual, tailored to the different tastes of the clients. Overall, food was delicious and portions were huge. I had a Boston Clam Chowder and a Gulf Grouper as the main. I would usually order a salad, but I didn't this time as each entrée came with a large plate of homemade roasted vegetables and wild rice. The Boston Clam Chowder had real pieces of clams in it. However, it was just lukewarm. My grouper looked great and tasted flavorful, but it was somewhat over-cooked (and therefore not tender), which was unfortunate. My wife had a bowl of Lobster Bisque and an order of Stuffed Flounder that had crabmeat sandwiched in the fish. She absolutely loved her choices. Our daughter had a Charbroiled Walleye and liked it too. Her only disappointment was the garlic bread being hard and dry. Our daughter and I each had a Chardonnay Stags Leap which was good, while my wife had a Virgin Mojito and truly enjoyed it. Surprisingly, the highlight of the night was the slice of tiramisu that our friendly and professional server Greg brought to me! It had a lit candle for my birthday, and Greg teamed up with two other waitresses enthusiastically sang me a happy birthday song! The tiramisu was excellent, creamy and not too sweet. I am not a dessert person but really appreciated this. I have a suggestion for the restaurant: as the portions were so large and each of us brought home half of it, it would have been nice that they make the portion 40% to 50% smaller, and lower the average price of $40 per entrée accordingly. It might help attract more customers. Just my two cents. All in all, I had a lovely birthday dinner at Boston Fish Market. Ambience was good, and service was outstanding. We will certainly return again.

They added an enclosed outdoor seating area, Thats lets you enjoy the breeze or sun, but protects you from the rain. It used to be a tent, so this is definitely nicer. My wife and I were seated immediately. The server quickly brought us water and garlic bread. I really like that they give you 5 fairly big pieces of garlic bread for only two people. Nice touch. We were not in a hurry and couldn't decide what we wanted so we started with the calamari salad. $29, but it's huge and chock full of those calamari guys. Lettuce is always crisp and has everything I like in it (olives, eggs, carrots, artichoke, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, and romaine lettuce). We were almost full just from the salad alone. I ordered a grouper sandwich (not fried), and my lovely wife ordered the Scottish salmon plate, which comes with potatoes and grilled vegetables. My sandwich came with coleslaw and fresh cut fries. They switched to fresh cut since my last visit, and this was an upgrade. My sandwich was great, and huge too. Could not finish it. Wife's meal was a humongous slab of salmon. The veggies now come on a smaller plate, but that's okay, given the size of the fish. Service was a tad slow, but like I said, we weren't in any hurry. Total tab was $100, with tax and that pesky 3% service fee. I really enjoyed the food and the ambiance. We made a reservation because I'd heard this place can get pretty busy. Although it didn't seem too crowded when we first arrived on a Saturday, it filled up quickly throughout our meal. I definitely recommend making a reservation, especially if you're planning to come for dinner. As soon as we walked in, I was struck by how beautiful the restaurant is. Since the building was once a church, they preserved the stained-glass windows and cathedral ceilings, which give the space so much character. We ended up sitting on the patio because it was a gorgeous day, but I definitely want to come back and dine inside so I can fully appreciate the interior. The patio was modern, spacious, and completely shaded, making it very comfortable. Since it's located right next to the little lake, we also enjoyed a nice breeze throughout our meal. Our waitress was friendly and attentive overall, but there was one moment that stood out. My friend's baby accidentally knocked over a full glass of iced coffee, spilling it all over my friend's lap and onto the floor. The waitress watched as my friend cleaned up the mess herself but didn't offer to help or replace the spilled drink. Aside from that, the service was good. My friends and I all ordered something different, and everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the salmon poke bowl ($19), which was fresh, flavorful, and incredibly refreshing. The ingredients tasted high quality, and all the flavors worked really well together. It was more filling than I was expecting! Price-wise, I expected the menu to be more expensive than it actually was. I'm sure dinner prices are higher, especially for steak and seafood, but the brunch menu was quite reasonable. Most breakfast and brunch dishes range from $12-$20, making it a great value for both the quality of the food and the beautiful atmosphere.
