I have written wonderful reviews about Dr. Biegel. She took wonderful care of my mother. I loved her so much. I sent all my clients to her. I have to give her 1 star now. She used to be one of the best. She and her PA now insult my employees and my clients are refusing to see her. She accuses us of neglect when we have been going there for years with the same clients. This happened twice in the last two weeks with two different employees and two different clients. She only spends a few minutes at most with her patients. I'm really sad to see this happen. She was wonderful before. She has a sign on her office door that says enter as strangers, leave as friends. I used to think that was true. It's very sad because it is hard to find a good doctor and she was one of the best. I can't let my employees be abused in this office. read more

Dr. Beigle and her staff are great! I've never had trouble getting an appointment. Today, on a Monday, I was able to call in the morning and get an appointment just a few hours later. The staff are caring people who take the time to listen you. My husband and son are also patients of Dr. Beigle and are very satisfied with the level of care given by her and her staff. read more

I cant believe this. Been placed on hold 3 times (called them 3 times) and they would just hang up. A third party company was charging me and apparently this clinic's billing department didn't process my insurance correctly so ive been receiving multiple calls because of the charge. When i was on the phone, BRENDA was so rude and kept cutting me off. Idk whats going on with this clinic but it's NEVER A GOOD EXPERIENCE With them. Everyone has a hard day or works but two months for results they don't remember issuing or they cant read or pronounce my results. I ll go to through another network. I have to say i have only had the best of experiences when visiting Dr.Biegel's office- her staff is always kind & professional. I really appreciate the time they take to document my concerns- I have seen the PA several times and i feel very comfortable with her she always takes the time to listen to my concerns and answer all my questions with a smile. I feel a genuine sense of caring from the entire staff from the moment you walk in - the front office staff and medical assistants are friendly. I have met with Dr.Beigel as well and she pulled up a chair to review my labs in depth with me. I have a PPO and have my choice of physicians and i would not go anywhere else- I enjoy the level of patient care that i receive and that i am treated so well each time i have an appointment. read more

I had been gaining weight above and beyond my normal weight for two years not because of changed eating habits, but because I am post menopausal. In fact, the weight gain had made me have new health concerns. I became pre diabetic, I had a consistent lower backache, which wouldn't allow me to even wash dishes without having to take breaks to complete cleaning my kitchen. Both of my knees and the right side of my hip would consistently hurt. I had to see Dr. Biegel for these concerns so she could treat these newfound ailments, which also meant more medications. Now I have lost 38.6 pounds since January 17 2017!! I feel so much better since this weight loss, and Dr. Beigel was able to take me off two medications!! I can truly say that losing weight has improved my overall health!! read more

I've had several doctors and I have to say Dr Susan biegel is the best. She is very thorough with things. She doesn't just prescribe something for u, she asks questions and tries to figure out if something is causing the problem and/or how it can be fixed and IF it can be fixed without medication..... she's a great doctor I never leave her office feeling like we forgot to go over something or anything like that... she's very nice and great personality, she makes u feel comfortable when ur telling her ur concerns and is very understanding to ur situation. I thought I would try going back to Dr. Biegals office after 10 or so years only to find out.....if not bad as it was years ago it's much worse! First appointment; I left feeling very confused about all the new meds I needed to take but I thought I was having a low blood sugar problem so it was me and not them. I saw a very nice young woman a PA I believe that I really liked although she did keep trying to push having a gastric sleeve done but I have looked into that and believe that wouldn't work. I did see Dr. BIEGAL AS WELL as she came in and went over the PAs info and made some changes. Ok so I go home take meds and same thing happened as it did years ago made me very sick. I told them what happened the arrange another appointment. I go in and see PA she was loud and was acting over worked and very rushed. And decides to double my doses of the metphormen that was making me sick. And doubled my blood pressure medication plus so other stuff. I was feeling ok that day but she would interrupt me as I'm explaining what she was asking. And afterwards I realized that she forgot about my leg that needed a Xray. So I caught her before she was leaving and she took care of me. But when i left i was completely upset because she would not listen to me. I believe this is the appointment where once again I was asked if I would take Lantus insulin. I said no it does bad stuff to me. 3rd appointment PA was rude and even walked out the door when I was talking story made short i left feeling fed up with the treatment i get there. Ok final appointment. I'm in a lot of pain because I'm out of my pain meds. Now i have been givin Very strong pain meds that i decided on my own that i didn't want to take and settled for Gabapantin and Norco. I dont a use my meds either. So this gentleman says that they dont have a record of way I'm taking pain meds and Must go in to see them AGAIN! This visit I was taking in and hes asking me questions about my medications he gets to the insulin Lantus...says it was prescribed in August. I said no I refused to take it so they didn't give me a prescription. This went on him saying I'm wrong and they did give it to me and I repeat myself. He gets mad and says mam you did receive this....and was almost to the point of yelling. I was in so much pain and he just had told me my blood pressure was something like 160/189 or 89 couldn't hear as he mumbled it. I just lost it. It takes a lot to make me get mad a blow up. I stormed out saying this is not worth it I've had enough I'm changing doctor. But his additude was rude and I had already figured that I want a real doctor. I read that there office is a joke and I agree. I'm going without some medications but I refuse to be treated like this. Dr. Biegal I hope you read this because you need to do something. I did apologize to the patients for yelling. I'm not known for out bursts but he was .....good luck! read more

Dr Biegel is a very caring Doctor. She actually listens to what's going on and doesn't rush you out. I brought my mom in and she went over her full history. She really cares about her patients. I've never been to Dr. Biegel's office but Obamacare (which is unconstitutional) says I have to pick a doctor or become a criminal and the government will take my hard earned money as a fine but the SCOUTUS calls it a tax. I've been searching for a doctor in the area and the one who had the highest ratings specialty was removing toe nails !!! Well my toe nails are fine and I don't see needing my toe nails removed before I leave this world. But I see that Dr. Biegel or her staff have responded to the negative reviews on Yelp and I find that interesting and I like that. So I'm going to pick Dr. Biegel as my doctor and give it a try. BTW: With Obamacare, you can expect even longer waits in the waiting room. read more

I saw Dr Biegel today for the first time and she is wonderful. The receptionist was very nice. It was easy to schedule an appointment. I didn't realize she had interns but I liked all of them. They answered all my questions and we're very knowledge and professional. We talked, laughed and I just felt really at ease in their office. My former doctor retired and "sold" his patients to someone else and I didn't care for the new doctor so I began my search. I'm really glad I found Dr Biegel's office. read more

I had some concerns and wanted to make an appt. I spoke to Stephanie, who was very helpful and professional. She said Dr. would need to see a list of symptoms to determine if I needed to be seen. I'm not one to request an appt if I didn't think I needed one. I needed one! So on Stephanies part, she handled it superbly, being my surprise and disappointment in the new procedure. She got back to me within a few hours to schedule me. Not real big on the new policy however. read more

This office (or at least the male dr who my mother spoke to), as kind as he was, was not open to putting my mother on the proper medication for her hypothyroidism. Like most drs, he/they prescribed her Levothyroxine. Based on mounds of compelling evidence, Levotyroxine (Synthroid) does NOT adequately treat the thyroid and eventually symptoms will return. A medicine that contains all of the hormones that our thyroid naturally makes also know as an NDT, will work! Levothyroxine only provides our body with the T4 hormone- storage only hormone. We NEED T3!! That is the active hormone our body uses and NEEDS to provide us vitality and life. He commented to her that the use of NDT was "old medicine". I can see where he was coming from as NDT was the standard method of treatment for a hundred years plus prior to the 60s and 70s (prior to the discovery of T4 only meds like Levothyroxine and Synthroid). However, we now have 5 decades of patient experience and millions of people across the world making it clear that they continue to have lingering symptoms of hypothyroidism while on a t4 only treatment. He seems like a nice guy, but really needs to do more research. Maybe if he was more well versed he would have had an iron panel ordered as next to cortisol, ferritin and iron issues are next in frequency for issues hypothyroid patients have. In his defense he said it was due to her insurance carrier. However, I think if he knew the importance/connection of low iron to lethargy and low energy (her main symptoms!!!) he would have figured out a way to order it legitimately. It comes down to this, if we are going to be subjected to taking a pill everyday for the rest of our life time, you better be sure i'm going to wise up and question it. No offense towards this office, everyone my mother has spoken to there had been so respectful and open minded. My main reason for posting today is really to vent my frustrations with how drs and endocrinologists treat the thyroid. I have damn near put my hashimotos (autoimmune condition where the result is hypothyroidism) condition in remission and it was no thanks to my gp or endo. I have had to pay thousands out of pocket for things that could have easily been taken care of by a dr, if only they would get up to speed on what is actually working. I am just trying to avoid my mother having to go down the same unhelpful path I had to go down with my regular drs and possibly inspire out practitioners to look into this more. But since Levothyroxine/Synthroid is second only to opioids as the most prescribed drug, I highly doubt anything will change sadly. My mom needed a a new doctor because her old doctor moved to a far away location. OMG. I love this office! Everyone is sooo nice here! The nurse Abby is soo nice and patient. A big plus because she speaks spanish and was really patient and attentive with my mother. Dr. Biegel is super nice! I'm soo glad I found her. They are very thorough and professional. So, I ended up going back to see Dr. Biegel a few weeks after my initial review. I finally met and was seen by Dr. Biegel and I had a much better experience than the last visit. Dr. Biegel was very attentive. She was concerned with my last experience and seemed to address all of the issues brought to light during my visit with the appropriate staff member. Dr. Biegel was apologetic and sincere in her effort to ensure others don't have similar experiences. Her medical assistant was polite, friendly, and professional which made things more comfortable right off the bat. The staff in the north end of the office are a lot more pleasant and professional to deal with than the staff on the south end was last time. Overall, it was a much better experience. read more

Since I can't make two reviews I'll just write another one. Called Susan Biegels office AGAIN, thinking to myself "I'll give them another chance." I've had diarrhea for 3 days now I called this morning explained my symptoms (300 questions) at 8:05am. It hurt to wipe it hurt to sit down, it hurt to walk, and I went to the restroom and had diarrhea 5 times from 530am to 8:05am. When I called I was even on the toilet. I answered the questions and she said "if I don't call you back by 1pm please call us" I can't believe this shit! (Literally) This fuckin doctor office is trash. I wish Susan Biegel would comment on here so I can tell her, your staff is trash. First it was "google it" from the nurse when I needed an urgent care in my insurance group. Then it's "call us if we don't call you" fuckin pathetic. read more

I visited Dr. Biegel's office today to get a FAA class one medical. First off, I was able to get an appointment within two days, unlike other doctors where it take multiple weeks to get in. Second, I showed up 30 minutes early hoping I wouldn't have to wait for an unexpectedly long time. Within a few minutes Ron called me back and administered my tests. He was all over it! Very friendly, and took the time to look up information regarding FAA regulations requiring my EKG frequency. After Dr. Biegel gave me my exam, Ron came back in, ran the EKG test and finished up my paperwork very expeditiously. Thanks to Ron's friendly and hard work, I was out of Dr. Biegel's office around my scheduled appointment time. My thanks to Dr. Biegel and Ron for taking care of me. read more

I'm back. Last week I received a message from Sarah at Dr. beigel's office. I called her her back on Thursday. She said she had the authorization number I needed. But , it wasn't showing up on her screen. She was going to call the insurance to find out what's happened. She also said she'd call back. Now we're on Wednesday still no call back. I'm willing to say that the only pts the Dr. See's are cash paying or the ones being seen for her little specialties. She might have but off more than she can chew. I've been seeing Dr. Biegle for years because she's an excellent physician. If it wasn't for how great she is, I would've found a new doctor a long time ago, because her staff is an issue for me. Specifically, the people on the phones. They can be incredibly rude and there have been times where I've heard them discussing patient information in the back ground. As a nurse, this is appalling. Today, I tried to get a same day appointment with the Dr. for possible bronchitis symptoms. I was told her soonest appointment wasn't available until tomorrow morning, so I scheduled it. Within the hour, I spiked a fever and decided to go to urgent care. I promptly called Dr. Biegle's office to cancel the appointment. I was transferred to someone who proceeded to lecture me about how I now owe $50 because I made a commitment to be seen in the office. I politely explained that there was no way to give 48 hours notice of cancellation, as the appointment was just made this morning and scheduled for tomorrow. She didn't care and told me I need to "deal with billing." This was so discouraging. The only positive note is that the person I spoke to in billing as very nice and understanding and even stated "I hope you feel better soon." read more

I have been seeing Dr Biegel and her team for the last seven months for treatment for numerous conditions. I have been unwell unable to work for over a year and my complaint were ignored by other doctors. The extra care and I was given and Dr. Biegel's medical troubleshooting have given me my life back. Absolutely not patient friendly with their telephone automated service. I reached out to her as my PCP after two years (because she and/or her office staff never follow up, at least with me, after specialty exams...like lab work or mammograms) to only be kept on hold from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., then 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. with no one ever picking up the line. My need was urgent due to disabling pain, so I finally had to go to an urgent care authorized by my health group. My health group tried to intervene by contacting the office through a different phone number, (doctor's back line), which I was instructed to call. So, when I called the phone number I was turned away and told to call the main phone number, which was the originating source of the problem. I CANNOT recommend this doctor, and, in fact, have requested an immediate transfer from her care. read more

I have been a patient at Dr. Biegel's office for over 8 years now and I can't speak highly enough about the nursing staff, the medical assistants and Dr. Biegel herself. I would like to mention specifically Ron and Mac of the medical staff. They both have gone above and beyond in their concern for my medical care. They are both caring and diligent health care providers that the office of Dr. Susan Biegel benefits from greatly!! If there was a lower rating, I would certainly do it. I was a new patient, and was given a pap smear by a nurser practitioner. That in the middle of my exam said she forgotten the instruments, and open the door to the exam room wide open as people were passing by, while I was in a compromising position. Her exam was extremely inappropriate felt molested in fact. Then she told me that I had a problem with my female organs, and asked somebody to come into the room and used me as an educational body. I left the office in tears. Next time I visited the Dr. I asked never to see a nurse practitioner, the Dr said no problem, she never apologized for the issue, she sent me to have all kinds of test that were unnecessary. By the way there was no problem with my female organs, ( I visited a real Dr, and that diagnosis was not true) Went back to see the Dr Biegel to see the results of my exams and again she was on vacation, the 3 times that I was in that office she was on vacation. I was seeing by a Medical student, that asked me how my surgery went????? She was reading somebody else chart. I never got to see the Dr again. How could she run a medical office when she is never there!!!!! Then I got a huge bill for services rendered!!!!! This woman should not be in the business of caring for patients. Her level of professionalism and care is not there. Its about collecting as much as she can from insurance companies. LOL ok i already wrote in my yelp that i will never come back here...so why are you even sending me a letter? you can't read, or? ********I like how defensive you get in your replies here, you are very invested in yelp reviews, it is very apparent. You reply the same day. MAYBE if you took that energy to your workplace, things would get done and you wouldn't have to constantly defend yourself online and your office wouldn't be a mess. I've had much the same experience as many of the people here...awful. I, too, would give them zero stars if I could. The cliff notes: - Hold time on the phone is always close to 10 minutes. They also like to turn the phones off for "lunch" an hour or so before their specified lunch time (it's posted on the door to the office). - Staff communication and familiarity with office procedures is poor and in my situation resulted in delayed appointments and tremendous frustration. - Staff's ability to enter correct information into your record is very poor...I had to get them to correct numerous errors. - In spite of choosing to see Dr. Biegel because I wanted a female physician, I ended up meeting with a man who told me Dr. Beigel would be in later. My appointment was at 10:00, I didn't see this assistant until 11:15, and by the time I had to leave for a meeting at 11:40, I still hadn't seen Dr. Biegel. I asked the staff to have her call me and they were very noncommittal...either they didn't pass along the request or she just chose not to respond to me. - Before your first appointment, you have to get a packet of extensive paperwork from them and fill that out as well as get some lab work done before making an appointment. It gives them a chance to enter everything into their system so your first appointment can be more efficient, which is a great idea. Unless they don't bother to enter the information into the system, of course. The entirety of my appointment was spent answering the questions I had already answered for them while a nurse spent the time to entering everything into the computer while I sat there. Sadly, I could go on. For whoever is responding to these reviews from Dr. Biegel's office, don't bother, there's truly nothing you can say that I'll either believe is sincere or that will change my mind. read more
