I ordered the teriyaki shrimp bento box and the server asked for my preferences in all options to ensure that my order was correct. It comes with 2 dumplings, salad with ginger dressing, the teriyaki shrimp was on top of grilled veggies (, , ), 4 piece roll of Cali or spicy crab and rice (steamed or fried). The rice was a nice portion and was served in a bowl on the side. The Cali roll was big and made with all fresh ingredients. My daughter ordered the shrimp tempura roll; it comes with 8 pieces and is a very large roll with fresh and real ingredients. The ambiance is low lighting, tables and chairs as well as low tables with cushions for floor seating for dining in. Staff: Staff is super friendly and helpful. I really like this location better than the one closer to where I live. What we ate: Crunch roll. The pieces are super thick. My husband LOVED this roll. I would have liked the pieces to be smaller so you're not stuffing your face with a massive piece of sushi. Korean chicken boneless bowl- tastes good. the sauce is a little sweet. The bowl comes with 2 pork gyoza which are delish. Spicy pork bowl- my husband ordered this and said he thought it tasted better than a bowl at burning rice. His bowl also came with two pork gyoza. I decided to come here for lunch last week to this newer spot that opened up on Josey and one that I past by often. I ordered the chicken teriyaki and a spicy roll to go. Overall, the chicken teriyaki was good, but was a bit dry and was smaller in portion than other teriyaki places. The quality here was way better, but I noticed they used white meat instead of thighs and so the meat wasn't as juicy as I wanted and the sauce wasn't as abundant. If you're looking for a healthier version of teriyaki, this is for you. The portion was also smaller which didn't bother me because I also had the roll to look forward to. My sushi roll was tasty and provided the fat content that I was craving from the mayo sauce. I'm giving this place a four because I see potential and would like to come back here again to try their bento boxes, which if anyone knows me knows I love every country's version of bento boxes and I'm just sad I didn't see it on the menu before I had ordered the teriyaki. read more

My friend and I happened to stumble upon this place while driving down Josey Lane. I have to say this was an amazing find for us. The food is amazing and the service was great Not to mention the prices were really affordable. The place keeps a traditional Japanese feeling and splendor. I do highly recommend this place to all Sushi lovers like myself. They've only been here for a year but I must say with this service, atmosphere and prices they're are definitely 100% here to stay. I honestly think this is the best Japanese cuisine restaurant in the North Dallas area and if you don't believe me come and try it for yourselves.
