I usally get the salmon hibachi and today and the last time I came which was over a year ago it was overcooked. I tried to bring it up to their attention which they wanted me to come back. I told them I'm at work and couldn't come back. And If I came back after work it would be 40 min each way. They became rude about it and the owner said I remember you said the same thing the last time why did you come back i was like i was next door getting a drink wanted to give yall another chance. Was in Carrollton for the weekend and had a strong craving for hibachi. With a quick Yelp search this place popped up. I did a mobile order so can't speak to the quality of service other than they were super friendly when I went to pick up my food. I ordered the chicken and steak hibachi and I gotta say; the portion sizes were great. I love the fact you get to customize your order to your liking and picking which sauces, veggies, and base you want. The food was cooked well. Needed slightly more cooking sauce base but once I added the Yum Yum sauce, it was perfection. The food is delivered on a path finding automated server - robot that whistles a cute tune. You can place additional food items by scanning a QR code at your table. This small shop is easy to find close to Midway and Park. Lots of parking in front. We were greeted as we entered, you seat yourself. The waitress came over and explained their menu We ordered from the hibachi menu pick your protein, 5 veggies, sauce ect. The food is made fresh when u order. In about 10-15 ?minutes it was brought to our table via a interesting "robot" . The waitress followed it and pulled the plates off and it then returned to the kitchen. If you think of this place as a typical hibachi and sushi place, you'll be sorely disappointed. It isn't the place where you have a hibachi chef cooking right in front of you or anything like that. The type of food is more like the hibachi/teriyaki places you eat from in the mall, which I can say that the mall ones actually taste better. I got the hibachi rice with chicken, the fried dumplings and the cheese wontons. The cheese wontons were like a 2/5 and only because of the filling. The outside wonton wrapper taste pretty stale and I could've used it as a weapon to kill someone (they were that hard). The filling inside was delish tho especially with the sweet and sour sauce that comes with it. The fried dumplings were mediocre. They taste like the ones you get from the store and fry yourself. Nothing special. The hibachi rice combo was really disappointing, the chicken wasn't horrible, and the veggies were okay. My biggest gripe would be the fried rice. They taste kind of salty with the egg and it was literally just too much soy sauce for my taste. The service was nice though. The server was friendly and would come by often. The delivery robot was cute but there's several restaurants that's already doing that for me to come just because of that. read more

EXCEPTIONAL hibachi--best we have had in over a decade--TRULY!!! Most places that advertise hibachi meals in Dallas are either: 1) sushi restaurants that only offer very limited (and usually extremely disappointing) hibachi dinners to appease kids or grandparents that think sashimi is bait; or 2) BS hibachi grill shows where the food quality and taste takes a back seat to the onion volcano performance (NO THANKS). Ninja Grill, on the other hand, makes top-notch hibachi with tons of customization options and generous portions. Basically this is a build your own stir-fry grill. Pick your starch, your protein, your vegetables and your sauce. We had chicken breast, broccoli, cabbage, mushrooms, pineapple and zucchini with fried rice. It came out hot and fresh and was enough for my daughter and I to share as a light lunch. The chicken was tender and juicy and the vegetables were like just picked fresh. A Robot named "Peanut" delivered our meal. Cute gimmick that might have more practicality at a busy restaurant. Perhaps they had a rough start so I'm going to give them five stars with some room for improvement with a couple suggestions. You get a nice size portion and they will make your meal with request. I kept it simply on my first visit getting the veggie hibachi adding extra zucchini which they really did a nice job on the late request. Large slices of zucchini, lots of onions, bell peppers, pineapple and celery which I didn't really get much of that or the pineapple. I agree with the sauce not being very tasteful but I really liked the rice noodles. The spring roll was mush so pass because it seemed worse then a frozen one. The service was excellent, they were kind, accommodating and helpful. Make sure to communicate with your desired dish and I think that will help them plus you'll get what you really want. The water they served was off putting so they may want to get a fountain drinks machine adding the water because mine was murky and didn't taste great. I think they may not have a chance though if they don't drop the price a bit and/or improve the quality of the ingredients, meaning the pineapple needs to be chunks, the veggies need to be more because if I hadn't a sk for the zucchini at the end I would not have got any that I could taste so the slices they added on top have them the give stars, the dish was basically onions and noodles with a couple pepper slices and a tiny taste of pineapple. I think they need to add some tropical trees or something to make the place more warm and inviting for dine in customers. Kind of reminds me of Piada but Asian instead of Italian food. My hope is that it works out the kinks and it's super successful. However, I fear they won't make it more than a year or two at most if they don't make some adjustments.. read more

Great service, big menu (I do wish they had combos for the hibachi like steak and chicken, chicken and shrimp, etc. but when asked they allowed me to do half and half of two meats) I like the ability to customize your veggies (you can pick up to 5 free and I love broccoli so being able to double up on that was perfect), and you pick your own sauce to cook as well as dip. Portions were large and really good value compared to other casual hibachi places - I'd put this in front of two others we frequent, Ginza and Fast Furious, not only for value but flavor. Ingredients seem high quality and much healthier than some similar type restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality, taste, and options. I feel like it was a good size portion for the price as well. The staff was very nice and got our to go meal out in about 10 min, from made to order. I really liked the spicy mayo sauce. We had a large group of 12 people and it is sometimes difficult to find a place that can accommodate such a large group but they were friendly and welcoming when I called the night before to ask. We were given paper menus and pencils to check off our orders and in our group I think we tried most of the things on the menu! There were steamed soup dumplings, fried dumplings, crab Rangoon, Green onion pancakes, edamame and a large menu of sushi rolls and sashimi in addition to their hibachi menu which included set meals and build you own. The lo main was good but the friend rice was better. The service was great and the boba drinks looked good. I stuck to water (that did not taste weird at all like in a pervious review, they may have gotten that taken care of.) Portion sizes for lunch were quite large which I appreciated! We ordered 2 hibachi tofu entrees with lo mein. The food was pretty average (3/5 stars) and I thought the prices were a bit high for the quality of the food that we got. We also ordered a seaweed salad sushi roll (literally just seaweed salad in the roll) which also didn't seem up to par for a $6 sushi roll. We also ordered the juicy dumplings which I was excited to try since they're advertised in the restaurant name but we were pretty disappointed. Ordering online was very easy and you basically get to build your own hibachi meal with a protein, assortment of veggies, and sauce over noodles or rice. I got chicken breast with lo mein and my boyfriend got chicken with fried rice. The portions were large and full of fresh veggies and tasty chicken. I could've split mine in to 2 meals. The only thing we weren't crazy about were the dipping sauces on the side, but the food didn't need it because it was already delicious! I'm sure we'll be regulars here. read more

We've been waiting for this place to open up! We went on a Saturday night and ordered to go. The restaurant was pretty empty considering they recently opened up. The staff was amiable. We ordered the chicken breast with hibachi sauce, another with Mongolian sauce, the steak with hibachi sauce, and the beef ribs. Very honestly, we could not taste the Mongolian or hibachi sauce, there was no sauce flavor at all. The only thing that was actually good here was the beef ribs. The other meat was pretty dry. The meat portion size was very little with a lot more vegetables, rice, and noodles. The beef and chicken tasted like nothing. The dipping sauces were not very good either. The spicy mayo and ginger dressing tasted very similar and the ginger dressing was unexpectedly creamy and overly sweet. We didn't even try the garlic butter that we got, because we got a bad experience with the other two sauces we tried. I had high hopes for this place. I think it would have been a lot better if the sauces had some flavor. I don't think we will be returning. read more
