We were down in Miami visiting family and they recommended this restaurant. Oh-my-god. The food is incredible, I wish I took more pictures. The service was incredible and all the dishes fr the popcorn mushrooms appetizer to the s'mores cake dessert was incredible. In addition the wait staff was very attentive - and I mean I could not gett water (or sake) cup to ever be empty fororw than a few seconds. Very inviting outdoor setting near the beachfront in the North Beach area of Miami. Attentive service without being overbearing. Water glasses were refilled often and discreetly. Our party of five ordered different appetizers and entrees and everyone really enjoyed what they ate. Came to sushi Bichi as I was craving sushi, but I switched up and got the eggplant skewers (on happy hour) and the bichi burger. The skewers were cooked great & had a delicious sauce. I ordered a watermelon cocktail on happy hour while I waited for my entree, which was also tasty. The burger was so delicious and the fries were amazing. Truly excited to leave this review. In a town full of restaurants with similar themes and foods, Sushi Bichi separates itself in the best way possible! The unique layout provides a relaxed atmosphere, yet a very cute and romantic vibe as well. I arrived during Happy Hour (lucky me)!! The drinks and food prices were very generous considering the quality of the product. Which was supposed to be a quick after work drink turned into a full dinner. Here's why/the deal breaker- THE SERVICE WAS IMPECCABLE! My bartenders Kristen and Tritton were unbelievably friendly and attentive. The food suggestions were to die for and the cocktails were yummy. Kristen suggested a salmon roll that I literally can't ever forget. In addition, which was such a classy touch and the cherry on top, the Owner, James, stopped by and introduced himself and made sure everything was up to par. I can't express how amazing my experience was. Calling this place a "hidden gem", doesn't do it justice. Will always come back and suggest this to anyone in the North Miami Beach area. read more

Had a very lovely mother-daughter dinner last night after we left the beach at Sushi Bichi. Your manager Rui was very accommodating to my 4 year old and brought her pages and markers for her to color while we were waiting for the food. He checked up on us throughout the meal to make sure we had what we needed which was very kind of him to do. The sushi was very fresh, will definitely come back to try out other rolls. My favorite dishes were the Salmon Flatbread and the Sakezo roll. The spicy mango margarita was done very well too. Can't wait to stop by again after the beach! read more

I came for thé egg plant dip and am so glad we did! It was amazing. A little sweet, savory, salty. The wonton chips were tasty. We also had rolls. The spicy salmon was classic and well made. Then we had a lemon asparagus roll that was really interesting and a nice complement. We also had a crispy rice cake with fish on top that was as very tasty. The waiter was friendly, very good with suggestions, and knowledgeable about food. He made our experience even more enjoyable. We showed up right when they opened and he made us feel welcomed and comfortable. The outdoor near the beach setting was a highlight too. Def recommend. read more

I live in Miami Beach I am a sushi fanatic eat it 3 times per week. I decided to try this new place. It's in front of the beach, we sat outdoors had a great vibe with a great breeze , nice ambiance. The food was great as well as the service. The best was the nigiri omakase. Prices were very fair. I used to go to wabi Sabi for the omakase. This one is much better. We will be back. The food is beyond compare. This is Japanese food elevated with influences of places around the country. service is outstanding. Our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. Sushi Bichi is as good as it gets in North Beach (actually, in all of Miami). Quality ingredients; attentive, lovely staff; chill ambience; and fantastic value, I wish I lived next door to SB. Our party went with the intention of trying many dishes -- and we did. Salmon tirado, tuna ceviche, fresh oysters on the half shell...all were outstanding, especially the salmon tirado because of its unique flavor. We'd never tried anything quite like it... On to sushi, the Maryland crab roll was excellent, as was the crispy rice spicy tuna. This last dish was as good as I have ever tried, anywhere. The churrasco with black beans and rice was cooked perfectly and was clearly a quality piece of steak. Especially interesting was the collard green side which was expertly seasoned with garlic and salt. I could eat that everyday, which is a lot to say, because it's green and a vegetable and not fried. The ambience was perfect -- relaxed with a great Samba soundtrack and a full, but not packed, bar. The staff was exceptional. Our server -- Camila -- not only made great suggestions (just follow them) but seemed to be right there every time we needed her. She was a pleasure each time she came by and went above and beyond. Do yourself a big favor and make sure your party is in her station; she's that good. Finally, dessert. The banana cream pie was as good as we've tried anywhere. Clearly very fresh and all portions were generous, with the pie easily being enough for two. Throw in an interesting amuse sent over by the chef (a seafood arancini -- that should be on the menu in the future and if it is, order it), and it was a pretty perfect meal. No fusion, no foam, no fancy nonsense. SB just keeps it real -- great food, engaged staff, little touches here and there that show careful thought, and surprising value. Loved it! read more

My friend and I had the best dining experience last night at a new neighborhood restaurant named Sushi Bichi, located at 7330 Ocean Terrace. They hit a 10 on every measure. Their food is sensational, from menu options to taste and presentation. The outdoor dining experience is fabulous. Tables are spaced nicely and music is low so we could actually have a conservation. The service is superior. Our waitress, Celia, was outstanding; attentive and knowledgeable with a delightful personality. And two service helpers were also outstanding; constantly filling water glasses, clearing and cleaning the table. The manager even came over to introduce himself and ask how they were doing, and he truly wanted honest feedback; you can tell the success of this place is important to him and all that work there.
