Overall good food, unique menu, really great service, and I can see how people would enjoy the outdoor only ambiance on a nice Miami evening. I enjoyed the rolls, very untraditional but well done nonetheless. I got the panacotta for my desert which was lovely and it was a nice meal after a long day. It would be nice to have a little more lighting somehow, perhaps some overhead string lights some how because it was pretty dark with just the table lights. Otherwise fantastic hospitality and good food.

Great food. Beautiful patio. Great ambiance and staff too. Their salmon entree was possibly the best salmon I've ever had. Melts in your mouth. Possibly better than Mila in South Beach

Love this neighborhood spot! With views of the water and walking distance from the beach. The bartenders are all so sweet and attentive some have been there from day one. It's always fun for happy hour at the bar. I see my neighbors and locals. My favorite items from the happy hour menu is the tempura mushroom. One bite and you keep eating. The daily ceviche is delicious and spicy tuna rolls. The burger on the menu is yummy to try.

Everything is great. My favourite is definitely the A5 Miyazaki Roll (texture is on point everything is super balanced), O-Toro (Super fatty), scallop nigiri is nice too with a touch of citrus note. Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna is nice, def love the touch of truffle oil, wish it has jalapeno on top to give it more depth and texture. Everything is delicious in here, not too fancy. Great chill dinner spot for yummy food and ambience isn't off it's cute but not super Instagrammy. Service is great, server recommends the right stuff, attentive yet not annoying. Recommend.

We stopped in for their happy hour and we loved everything we ate! Plus the service is amazing. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. We tried their crispy rice with spicy tuna, kurobuta corn dogs, salmon ceviche, lumpia with mango dipping sauce, and their hammachiyatta roll with shrimp tempura and hamachi. Everything was delicious. Everything was off the happy hour menu ($7) except the roll. We also tried their watermelon sugar cocktail which was delicious. It's a great spot outdoors but with roof cover right by the beach walk. Perfect for a stroll afterwards! What a great place!!

Great service, delicious bites, cool vibes. An entirely outdoor restaurant (so weather dependent) but is such a nice spot. It's a little pricey but entirely worth it for a culinary expedited worth having. The service was excellent and attentive and the cocktails were very delicious and inspired. The only indoor spaces are the restrooms so if you're looking for a quiet indoor spot this isn't your eatery. But I would implore you to try it out for a special occasion (given the pricing) because th food is fresh and delicious. Worth every bite!

Not pictured, but their tiraditos are easily among the best dishes on the menu, highly recommended. The ceviche is also solid, though the tiraditos stand out even more. The sushi was fresh and well prepared. Service is friendly, and the owner often stops by tables to offer recommendations or make sure everything is going well. The ambiance is cozy, with warm, dimmed lighting that makes the space feel inviting. Might need fans on the dinning area.

Ok, first of all I am not a big fan of Sushi. I simply have a limited palette for fish. So, imagine my surprise having found a sushi restaurant that is quite possibly one of my favorite restaurants. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Ambience is perfect. And the food. Simply wow. Try the Tuna Ceviche. I have had it two lunches in a row. The Kurobuta Heritage Pork Sausage is delicious. The biggest surprise is the Bichi Burger and fries. I was told it was amazing and it did not disappoint. Even the Ginger Greens Salad was perfect. I will definitely repeat - a lot. So many more things to try.

The food &service was phenomenal!!! this is the 2nd time I come here with the boyfriend and we were treated so well from the staff to the waiters and the mg I was asking about what dish's should be recommended and from the dessert to the sushi and drinks it was so good ! Recommend

Great selections overall. We had the yellowtail Tiradito from the raw bar which was on my top items. Crispy rice with spicy tuna wasn't nice and over crispy . Japanese eggplant has a generous amount of maple miso glaze. It was served a little too hot. From the rolls we ordered three from bichi rolls; my favorite was Sakezo, my least favorite was zen by Naruto. HMmachiayatta was also delicious. We came in a cool day which made the outdoor seating nice and enjoyable, although I would question on a hot weather day. We ordered Japanese cheesecake and Jasmine tea to cap our dinner. My tea pot oddly already had tea in it which we sent back but that seems to be a minor oversight. Our server was Giancarlo's and he had great recommendations for us. The service was great to start with at the end they got busier so they slowed down a bit. Overall, we would recommend this spot and come back again. The cheesecake was ok but not too impressive.

Pros: seriously delicious! I had the yellowtail tiradiro, the crispy tuna rice, the choclo, and two rolls, everything was so damn good. Cons: have to pay for parking and it's pricey, but it's the beach, so that's expected

Ceviche is the star, with big succulent pieces of fish, choclo (giant corn), sweet potato, and avocado soaking up delightful leche de tigre (ceviche juice). We also ordered grilled octopus with potatoes, causa (stuffed yellow potato) with tuna salad, and fried tostones (plantain). The octopus was sizzling and was seasoned to perfection. The causa was a work of art. And the fresh tostones were thick and savory, the perfect mix of soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. We shared everything we ordered. The restaurant is a hole in the wall, casual with cute and colorful decor like llamas, flowers and neon lights, with indoor and outdoor seating. It's equally equipped for a date night or just getting some good food straight off of the beach. Can't believe how long we've passed by and seen it without realizing the quality feast awaiting us inside. Service was efficient, each dish arriving fresh and speedy to our table as soon as it was made. Chef Julio was friendly with us and asked how we enjoyed everything, especially the leche de tigre. When food is cooked with heart and soul, the difference is palatable. Prices aren't cheap but not expensive either and are very reasonable for what you get. 15% gratuity was added automatically. The menu takes some studying but the longer we read and re-read it, the more gems we found. And if someone in your party doesn't want seafood or ceviche, there are a few chicken, beef, risotto and other options.... something for everyone. Glad we finally dined here. Delightful! We will be back to dine in and maybe even to pick up some ceviche to-go to bring with us and impress at family gatherings.

While my friend ordered a jalea, I ordered their churrasco with a side of sweet plantains and black beans. The churrasco tasted like a regular steak, not with the smokey flavor I'm accustomed to with this dish. Wanting to enjoy a pisco sour with our lunch, we were told we would have to wait because there was a problem with the ice. When we got that first round, they were enjoyable & with enough of a buzz. While it did have the classic egg white foam, ours were missing the angostura garnish. When we ordered a second round of it, there was again a problem with placing the order and my friend and I settled for beers. The fact we couldn't fully enjoy this classic cocktail was why this review stays at three stars.

It was the same dinner menu being offered. The tuna salad was just okay--mostly greens with some tuna and a creamy dressing that, for my taste, was a little too heavy and overwhelmed the rest of the ingredients. We also had the fish ceviche, which was good, but I felt it was slightly overpriced for the portion and presentation. The lobster tacos were tasty. The tacos were also topped with the same sauce that dominated the flavor profile and made it harder to appreciate the lobster itself. They both were small dishes and not really shareable. The wine list also seemed somewhat overpriced. On the positive side, the service remained excellent. The staff was attentive, professional, and very detail-oriented throughout the meal. That level of hospitality was consistent with my first visit and continues to be one of the restaurant's strongest points. Overall, this experience wasn't nearly as impressive as my dinner visit, but it was still enjoyable. I would definitely recommend that they create a dedicated brunch menu or weekend brunch specials. I think it would attract more guests during daytime hours and better take advantage of what is otherwise a beautiful and inviting space.

Choosing which lobster or yellowtail from the ice counter you want them to prepare, and how you want it prepared, is a fun part of the dining experience for us. Occasionally they have hog snapper or another fresh catch available. The fried lobster tail was fantastically seasoned with a little kick, and I've never had it prepared this way, chopped up into bite-sized pieces. Very filling and we could have shared one, but we still managed to devour both tails and left very full and satisfied. Each tail, including one side, was about $40 - but market price items vary based on size and weight of what's available that day. There are also plenty of less expensive options on the menu. In fact, as my wife and I were walking in on our most recent visit, I was commenting that this would be a great place to bring out-of-town guests. Unfortunately, that opinion changed by the end of the evening. When the bill arrived, we learned that the corkage fee had increased from $25 to $35 without any notice. We politely explained that we were longtime customers who had always paid the longstanding $25 fee, but management was unwilling to make any accommodation or honor the previous rate. The increase itself did affect our perception. While $10 may not seem like a large amount, it represented a significant percentage jump for a neighborhood bistro, and it shifted the overall value equation for us in a noticeable way. What made it more frustrating is that a corkage fee increase feels different from a menu price adjustment. Rising food, labor, and operating costs can justify higher menu prices, but a corkage fee is simply a charge for opening and serving a bottle the customer brings in. Increasing it 40% without notice felt excessive, especially for a casual neighborhood restaurant rather than a high-end dining establishment. At $35, the corkage fee no longer feels aligned with the restaurant's positioning or value. Combined with the lack of transparency and the unwillingness to honor a long-standing rate for loyal customers, it meaningfully changed how we view the restaurant. The food was still very good, as it has been on previous visits. However, the overall experience left a sour taste. As a result, my wife and I won't be returning, and we will no longer recommend Silverlake Bistro to friends, family, or out-of-town visitors. That's a shame, because this was once one of the best reasonably priced neighborhood restaurants in the area. A relatively small change, handled differently, could have preserved our loyalty. Instead, it cost the restaurant two regular customers and future word-of-mouth recommendations.
