Love this neighborhood spot! With views of the water and walking distance from the beach. The bartenders are all so sweet and attentive some have been there from day one. It's always fun for happy hour at the bar. I see my neighbors and locals. My favorite items from the happy hour menu is the tempura mushroom. One bite and you keep eating. The daily ceviche is delicious and spicy tuna rolls. The burger on the menu is yummy to try.

Great food. Beautiful patio. Great ambiance and staff too. Their salmon entree was possibly the best salmon I've ever had. Melts in your mouth. Possibly better than Mila in South Beach

Everything is great. My favourite is definitely the A5 Miyazaki Roll (texture is on point everything is super balanced), O-Toro (Super fatty), scallop nigiri is nice too with a touch of citrus note. Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna is nice, def love the touch of truffle oil, wish it has jalapeno on top to give it more depth and texture. Everything is delicious in here, not too fancy. Great chill dinner spot for yummy food and ambience isn't off it's cute but not super Instagrammy. Service is great, server recommends the right stuff, attentive yet not annoying. Recommend.

We stopped in for their happy hour and we loved everything we ate! Plus the service is amazing. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. We tried their crispy rice with spicy tuna, kurobuta corn dogs, salmon ceviche, lumpia with mango dipping sauce, and their hammachiyatta roll with shrimp tempura and hamachi. Everything was delicious. Everything was off the happy hour menu ($7) except the roll. We also tried their watermelon sugar cocktail which was delicious. It's a great spot outdoors but with roof cover right by the beach walk. Perfect for a stroll afterwards! What a great place!!

Great service, delicious bites, cool vibes. An entirely outdoor restaurant (so weather dependent) but is such a nice spot. It's a little pricey but entirely worth it for a culinary expedited worth having. The service was excellent and attentive and the cocktails were very delicious and inspired. The only indoor spaces are the restrooms so if you're looking for a quiet indoor spot this isn't your eatery. But I would implore you to try it out for a special occasion (given the pricing) because th food is fresh and delicious. Worth every bite!

Not pictured, but their tiraditos are easily among the best dishes on the menu, highly recommended. The ceviche is also solid, though the tiraditos stand out even more. The sushi was fresh and well prepared. Service is friendly, and the owner often stops by tables to offer recommendations or make sure everything is going well. The ambiance is cozy, with warm, dimmed lighting that makes the space feel inviting. Might need fans on the dinning area.

Great selections overall. We had the yellowtail Tiradito from the raw bar which was on my top items. Crispy rice with spicy tuna wasn't nice and over crispy . Japanese eggplant has a generous amount of maple miso glaze. It was served a little too hot. From the rolls we ordered three from bichi rolls; my favorite was Sakezo, my least favorite was zen by Naruto. HMmachiayatta was also delicious. We came in a cool day which made the outdoor seating nice and enjoyable, although I would question on a hot weather day. We ordered Japanese cheesecake and Jasmine tea to cap our dinner. My tea pot oddly already had tea in it which we sent back but that seems to be a minor oversight. Our server was Giancarlo's and he had great recommendations for us. The service was great to start with at the end they got busier so they slowed down a bit. Overall, we would recommend this spot and come back again. The cheesecake was ok but not too impressive.

Pros: seriously delicious! I had the yellowtail tiradiro, the crispy tuna rice, the choclo, and two rolls, everything was so damn good. Cons: have to pay for parking and it's pricey, but it's the beach, so that's expected

We are in town for Art Basel and Tycho and had the urge for some sushi. There were 5 choices within walking distance for us and we picked Sushi Bichi and could. It be happier with our choice. It's probably our favorite sushi restaurant now easily surpassing Umi in Atlanta when judging the whole book. Perfect location on the beach - plenty of seating - and our server Joanna was the absolute BOMB. I do a sake refill test on my servers just for fun and she nailed it. . She also guided us expertly on some picks, particularly the St Tropez Moules Frites. We ended up with some O-toro sashimi, the abusan roll, and the mussels.... And two bottles of Sake. It was absolutely perfect for my wife and I. We will be back not just for the food but for Joanna too!

From the food to the service, everything here was FANTASTIC!! I live a few blocks away and have walked past Sushi Bichi nearly every day. We finally stopped in last month; what took us so long?! We sat at the bar for happy hour and started with the Yuzu vodka lemonade, which the bartender split into two glasses for us to share. We also ordered a bottle of excellent dry rose. For food, we had the crispy rice with spicy tuna, the lumpia shanghai roll, oysters, Japanese eggplant skewers and the sunomono noodle salad. The food was exquisitely prepared and presented. Not only was the food top notch, but the service was warm and friendly. We were taken care of by Jojo and the owner, James, was mingling with the guests, ensuring everyone was happy. Sushi Bichi is his baby, and he clearly cares that everything is perfect. One item to note - there is only outdoor seating, although it is covered. They have fans and misters in the summer, but a meal here in our "winter" is a real treat!

The setting in Bal Harbour is beautiful, very polished but still relaxed. It's definitely the kind of place you go for a nice dinner where you want things to feel a little elevated without being stuffy. Service was solid overall--attentive and professional, though at times it felt a bit rushed, like they were trying to keep the pace moving more than letting you fully enjoy the experience. Food-wise, there's a lot to love. The sushi was fresh and well-executed, and some dishes really stood out with great flavor and presentation. That said, a couple of items felt a bit underwhelming compared to the price point--good, but not quite memorable. Portions also lean on the smaller side, so it can add up quickly. All in all, it's a great spot with a cool vibe and very good food. Not flawless, but definitely worth going--especially if you're in the area and want a stylish dinner with consistently good quality.

Our server, David, was knowledgeable and attentive and very happy to spend time helping us navigate our sushi decisions for the evening, checking on us frequently and never leaving us to question the status of our order. If there are any chef's specials offered, try them! If they're anything like what we got, you will not be disappointed. We each got one order of the chef's special for the evening: 6 individual pieces of tuna nigiri, each featuring a different cuts and preparation of tuna. The array of textures and flavors was incredible, and the fish was very fresh. Some were plain or lightly seared, some were topped with delightful sauces, and each one was its own world of flavor. My next favorite was the truffle salmon belly nigiri. It's flavorful and melts in your mouth. Each order comes with two pieces. Could have easily eaten more! We were happy with the spicy hamachi roll we ordered as well. You can taste the difference when sushi is freshly prepared with fresh ingredients. It's nice that you can see the sushi chefs at work just a few feet from your table, too. Every time they torched a piece of fish, the small restaurant fills with the most mouth-watering smell. Prices are not cheap - but very reasonable for the high quality. Gratuity is included - but earned and deserved. It's a small but bright, clean, and cutely decorated restaurant that lifts your spirits. We enjoyed the experience and look forward to visiting again!

We were planning on ordering and taking the food to go. The restaurant had only one or two tables filled, so this was not a problem. The server was super friendly and the food was ready quickly. We had the following: Spicy Blue Crab Hand Roll Hamachi Hand Roll Spicy Tuna Roll Spicy Hamachi Roll Salmon Tiradito Pork and Shrimp Gyoza Verdict of the food: MEH. -Gyoza - I didn't try the gyoza because it had pork; Larry said it was a very small portion -Tuna and Hamachi rolls - tasted the same and were nearly all rice -Hamachi Hand Roll - I do not like hand rolls as they are difficult to eat neatly / share, but aside from logistics, this one was good! -Blue Crab Hand Roll - YUCK!!! The crab tasted like mud. I dislike crab though, so YMMV -Salmon Tiradito - very fresh and it came with an interesting passion fruit dipping sauce, but the order contained 5 tiny slices of fish The total came to $72 and we were still hungry after eating so I HAD TO COOK ANYWAY!!! I was actually pretty steamed all night; the point of spending money on restaurant food is to save me the work of cooking. So we spent money AND I cooked. Lose-lose. The interior of the restaurant is clean and fresh; the quality of the ingredients is good and the staff is super friendly, but the pricing is just way too high for what you get. The rolls were seriously not any better than Publix $5 sushi when the volume of rice is taken into account. We don't eat out much anymore so to try a new place and have it be disappointing is really a bummer.

The smell when I first walked in was atrocious. It smelled like they cleaned everything with sanitizer water that had been sitting and reused for multiple days. WTF - I work at a sushi restaurant and this is insane. The appearance was great but the taste was horrible. I ordered the Hokkaido scallop roll and it was insanely fishy. There also was initiation crab inside (really bad quality one) that wasn't even mentioned on the menu to be apart of this roll. Not to mention the size of the rolls are giant and couldn't be eaten with one bite. Might as well be a burrito. Their "moshi moshi" roll was fine but again giant and the server said it was wrapped with seaweed as well as soy paper but that was not true. The wagyu roll was OK- but for $30 I am so upset. Over $100 for two people for lunch. Our server didn't even ask us how the food was. She was nice but she clearly didn't know what was in the rolls or ensure we enjoyed it. The lychee sake cocktail was undrinkable, it was too sweet but also too strong. How do you mess up a happy hour drink?? I called them and let them know I got food poisoning and they asked me if I was "allergic to anything" which is silly because I mentioned the extreme fishiness and mentioned I work with fish, the answer is no. He responded with "our food is super fresh", no the hell it isn't. Don't come here unless you want to waste your money. A million other sushi places I could go to for a better experience.
