The staff were friendly and welcoming, making our experience even better. We kicked things off with some well-crafted cocktails that hit the mark--balanced, refreshing, and beautifully presented. For food, the udon noodles were a standout--perfectly cooked and customizable with your choice of protein. The shrimp fried rice leaned a bit on the sweeter side for my taste, but the portion was generous and satisfying. The real winner of the night was the short rib--tender, full of flavor, and easily my favorite entree on the menu. A solid spot for a night out with good food, drinks, and an aesthetic setting.

Didn't need all the micro greens for garnish on top but this could be overlooked because taste and flavor was amazing. The tuna tartare was super tasty as well and I would definitely order this again same comment for micro greens on this dish - didn't need this and found myself moving it off the dishes to actually enjoy the item. The two not so favorite dishes for me were the fried rice topped with fried chicken. While chicken was very tasty the rice was extremely basic. Could have used eggs or other ingredients to elevate this dish. Also the Volcano roll was extremely disappointing. Normally the volcano topping is cooked or (torched) and this topping was cold and very unappetizing. Would not recommend this roll. Overall this place is a hit or miss. Service for our large party wasn't bad and everything came out pretty quickly!

Giving it 3 because in the past we have always had a great experience, but this time was so bad…read more Food took forever, which was disappointing because it's always been fast in the past, even when the place was packed. Appetizer was almost cold by the time it got to our table. The drinks took forever to come out, and I ordered the same thing both times; the first was fine (different looking and tasting from all the times I've had it before), and the second was undrinkable. I tried to flag down the waiter for a replacement, but at that point we had already paid and the hassle of waiting 20 more minutes for a drink that might be bad wasn't even worth waiting for the waiter to come back (which he didn't, even though he had walked past twice and not looked in our direction). Really disappointed after having a great experience every time in the past. Sushi did taste as great as always, it was just overshadowed by the nasty drink and slow service. I don't think we will return after this, even though this was our favorite spot prior.

Fish: always fresh and of the highest quality Rice: perfectly sticky, not over/under cooked Veggies: avocado is fresh and just sliced Toppings: the roe had just the right amount of flavor Construction: wrapped tightly and cleanly If highly suggest the Volcano & Lobstah Wagyu rolls; they are my favorites!

The food was amazing, I am still dreaming about the carbonara 10/10, Peking duck shareable for 4 people or more for $125, it's a great deal. Sushi options, you can make specialized drinks- I ordered a lychee margarita super yum. The maguro Carparcio is a must ordered appetizer as it has some caviar on top and a yummy cream. The flavors blended so well together. I wanted to eat more. Garlic prawns were delish, and shareable, the braised short rib udon was also tasty. The salmon crudo was 3/5, it could've used more flavor. End of the night they offered us free ice cream- tasted like coffee with other delish vanilla and crushed ube cookie. He said that make special flavors of the week or something. They do charge for waters.

However, although the restaurant wasn't busy and we had reservations, it took a while for us to be seated. The hostess acknowledged us, but there was still a noticeable delay before we were shown to our table. The service was also quite slow throughout our visit. It took a while to get our check despite the restaurant not being busy. That said, the staff was very kind and courteous. The menu is quite extensive with lots of options to choose from. We ordered the kinmedai sashimi, which tasted good, but the portion size and quality didn't quite justify the price. The spicy karaage with vegetable fried rice was flavorful, though it leaned more toward Korean fried chicken than what we expected. My partner had the bento box with grilled salmon (an additional $3), and while it was enjoyable, the portion and quality didn't really make the extra cost feel worthwhile. The highlight of the meal was definitely the soufflé pancakes which were light, fluffy, and paired perfectly with the matcha cream. Overall, the experience was decent, but not compelling enough for us to return.

People are always very pleasant and being at Armature Works, the ambience is always so much fun! We have been there many times and it's always sooooo good! The Sumo Slam has AHI TUNA, SALMON CREAM CHEESE, CORN, PICKLED RED ONION, AVOCADO, WONTON CHIPS, MIXED GREENS, CARROTS and ORANGE CHILI SAUCE. Not on the menu but always show it on their TV advertisements and it's absolutely incredible. The tempura shrimp is always cooked to perfection and the fried part is very light. Not greasy. Florida bowl is always fresh and tastes amazing. All of the ingredients and fish taste fresh and not frozen or old. They have different deserts at times but this cheesecake was ridiculous. I'm not a big cheesecake fan but it was silky smooth with a perfect crunch from the crust and full of flavor. I cannot recommend this place more if I could. Absolutely amazing!
