We started with their version of an old fashion (forget the name) and the passion fruit mocktail. The old fashion was delicious. The mocktail was ok, very syrupy. We ordered the ceviche and beet salad. The beet salad was original, innovative, and delicious. Ceviche was very good but tasted a little fishy. We decided to split the short rib entree. It was very good (8.75/10). Maybe a little sweet for my taste but a solid dish paired with a tamarind sauce and garlic mashed potatoes. We had the carrot cake for dessert and it was solid as well. The wait felt a little long from the bar and the kitchen to get our food and drink, but we were willing to overlook. The owner was very kind and warmly introduced himself.
