Was in the mood for sushi and this location was nearby. Did not get to see the location since my husband did the pick up but over the phone service was great. We ordered a few rolls and enjoyed them. Fresh and satisfied our friend night sushi craving.

We were welcomed in from the moment we stepped in the door! What a treat. My family and I dined here on Thursday night and found the menu carefully made and the food thoughtfully and freshly prepared. Rolls were very reasonably priced as was the hibachi. I had an avocado salad as an appetizer and enjoyed the dressing very much. The hibachi was so generously portioned it could have fed two of us! Sushi Call is a visually appealing restaurant on the interior in an otherwise unassuming strip mall. Easy parking. We look forward to visiting again next time we're in town.

I haven't been here since they first opened because that experience was bleh - a lot of fluff and the quality wasn't great, especially for the price point. I was feeling like sushi, so I came for the lunch special on a Tuesday afternoon. Wow. I am impressed! The special is a pick of 2 rolls and a choice of soup or salad for $11.95. You cannot beat that price for the portion and quality of the sushi. There is more filling than rice and the fish was top notch. There is only one server but she was very friendly and efficient. Lunch rush had a few dine-in customers and more carry out orders. Plenty of seating, but the lighting is a little dim. Make sure to come by to try out their food!

The food was yummy. A variety of rolls that I don't see at Sushi Q (across the street). Priced similarly but I think the portions are smaller. I didn't get miso and salad with my rolls but my brother did with his sashimi... maybe only certain orders get that app. We were the only patrons and were not checked on as we ate. When someone came to clear plates I asked for more tea... It's a nice look inside with a full bar and seating. We sat in booths and could view a beautiful designed wall. Went back the next day . I had the seafood ramen and it was so good!! I love it.

So at first, I was very happy. The volcano roll is generously topped, the Philly roll was delicious, and I love any sushi place that also sells crab Rangoon. But then I started eating my crab rangoon. At first I thought it was thread, it was so black, but thread doesn't break apart like hair. I've been sewing most of my life and no thread behaves like that after heat, but hair does. I'm glad I travel for work and don't have to worry about ordering from here again. Hair nets exist for a reason.

Sushi call was the perfect spot for an afternoon lunch with my coworker. She had tried it via door dash so we just figured why not go in! The inside is a low light aesthetic with hanging twinkle lights and like karaoke at night vibes. The servers were very friendly and attentive. They kept us laughing and even brought us a Taro drink to try! It was refreshing and sweet. Perfect after the spicy sushi rolls i had! Try this place for lunch or dinner. You won't be disappointed! I love Sushi Call. Every time I come here, they make me feel like family. The owner Cindy is amazing, as well as the entire staff! The service is amazing! Stopped here for happy hour. The restaurant was beautiful inside. We were greeted and seated as soon as we entered. I had edamame , coconut shrimp and I think it was called crab puffs. Everything was delicious. I did forget the name of the drink I had. It had a melon liqueur in it. It was something from the happy hour drink meanie. It too was delicious. Can't wait to return.

Just had some FANTASTIC takeout for a sushi lunch from here, but once I saw the inside, I was almost regretting not staying- the place looks gorgeous, you'd never guess it from the outside! Used their online ordering, picked it up after 30 min and it was all ready to go! The lady at the front desk was very nice and professional- since it was my first time here, she gave me a card for a special roll after 10 visits. Neat! The sushi here is excellent quality, right down to the rice- perfectly seasoned, fresh fish, and LOADS of rolls to choose from! I can't wait to come back, dine in or takeout!

Tried this spot on a whim because I was close and there was a wait at my normal spot across the street. When we entered I was pleasantly surprised with the decor and the full bar. The lights were low but not too low as to not be able to see, your average Japanese restaurant. We were immediately greeted and seated. They offer many $7 cocktails and also have flavored lemonades and slushies. The menu was expansive from sushi to hibachi and teriyaki. We had the shrimp tempura appetizer which came with two shrimp and several tempura vegetables including sweet potatoes which were delicious. I ordered a combo hibachi of steak and shrimp which came with vegetables, noodles and choice of fried or steamed rice. I chose fried rice and I loved it. It was peppery and seasoned. My steak was cooked to my liking and very tender. I just could've used some seasonings like salt and pepper but the yum yum sauce worked. My husband ordered the shrimp teriyaki meal which came to the table sizzling hot on a heated cast iron plate with onions. He chose steamed rice. He loved his entree. Both meals came with soup and salad. Our total bill was about $52 which was great for all the food we had. They aren't skimpy on the portions which was appreciated. My next trip I will try the ramen. They also gave us a free dessert cake.

Friendly nice atmosphere!! Service is prompt and nice very accommodating... My son and I ventured here for a dinner date.. We had 3 California rolls, 1 shrimp tempura, 2 miso soups, 1 shrimp fried rice and a Long Island for Me, water with lemon for him. The Shrimp Fried Rice... was basically white rice soy sauce topped with shrimp drizzled in what I guess is eel sauce... 4 broccoli florets and 2 pieces of carrots garnished the dish.. The Shrimp Tempura was decent I'd order it again The California rolls were good according him.. Tokyo Tea was not as melony as I'm used too but was decent. Long Island Iced Tea was goodt!!! No coke and add peach snappes Will return again.. Management and staff are very attentive

Upon entering. You're greeted and everything. There was sanitizer available at the front podium. The ventilation is very good. Very good amount of fresh & cool air circulating so you could easily tell they're using air filtration here. After sitting in the bar area. The TV's were powered on and the top shelf liquors looked very organized in the bar area. The decor of the restaurant was very relaxed and modern. The employees were very professional and helpful when asking about different sushi mixtures. Also very social too. The pricing was very good for restaurant sushi. As well as a wide variety of sushi mixtures available. The menu was also highly detailed in the sushi listing of ingredients. The portion sizes are very generous and the rolls were thick which is a MAJOR PLUS. They provide chopsticks and also napkins. The napkins were very high quality. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant was amazing. Tables were spotless and the floors were clean. Also the menus looked & felt very clean which means they're sanitizing the menus which is another plus. They're very attentive regarding drink refilling. Also the water tasted amazing which means it's highly filtered which is another plus. They were also attentive and very generous on reloading of extra wasabi. Also the wasabi was very potent. Definitely cleared the nasal passages upon eating the wasabi on the sushi. Lol. The parking was very easy since it's in a shopping center parking lot. There is two Volta Level 2 EV chargers in the parking lot which is a major convenience. Eating & Free Charging at the same time. The overall general crowd is mainly middle to high-class. Mainly adults. Very Mature. Barely any kids really. The overall noise level was normal for a sushi restaurant. Quiet & Very relaxed. Overall. A++++++.

I'm so happy this place opened super close to our house! All workers were wearing their masks and gloves. There is socially distanced seating and hand sanitizer at every table. Our server was amazing! She was super nice and attentive. The food was delicious and fresh! The price was very reasonable as well. We left with extra full tummies. Will come back again! read more

Came here w/ the fam on a Saturday about 3pm & it wasn't busy at all. We were greeted & seated right away. Nice atmosphere and staff was attentive. My son had the fries and chicken wings which, in all honesty, may have been the tastiest thing we had on the table lol. My husband commented the wings didn't even need hot sauce and he puts hot sauce on everything! I had a bite and he told no lies. So hot and fresh. My shrimp fried rice on the other hand was good but I don't feel the rice was cooked at the time I ordered. It wasn't hot. My daughter and husband had sushi and my daughter loved hers...something w/ "pink & sexy" in the title. My husband isn't really a sushi person so he ate all his but he wasn't a fan. We'd DEF would come back though to try more on the menu. read more

I went to their online website & Delivery was an option. After placing order, I called SUSHI Q Where is my order The associate I spoke to hung-up on me multiple times. Service 5/5 - Friendly and reasonably fast. Miso soup 5/5 - Not too salty or pasty. Very good. Crab Rangoons 5/5 - Absolutely fantastic, possibility the best I've ever had. Served with a (mango?) sauce that is sweet with a slight zing. Worth the $6. California roll 5/5 - What you expect from a California roll, fresh with no fishy taste. Maryland roll 2.5/5 - To be fair, I misunderstood what this was going to be. I tend not to like this kind of roll in general, so I'm not counting this in my overall rating. read more

Sushi Call is SO GOOD!! I went with my family for my grandmothers birthday because she's been trying to find authentic Japanese food in our area. We went on a Thursday night around 6pm and our server Annie was amazing. She was so sweet and friendly! The restaurant was very busy for their evening rush, but the staff looked like they had good teamwork and our food and drinks came out with no issues. Annie put a candle on my grandmothers dessert and they even played happy birthday over the speaker. It was a wonderful experience and everyone had a great time. The food is top notch and they really go out of their way to make it an enjoyable meal. I would HIGHLY recommend Sushi Call if you're in the mood for Japanese. read more

Many food choices with a diverse, organized menu and a wide variety of flavors. Robust house soy sauce and pickled ginger. Crave worthy. Succulent eel unagi sashimi. The sashimi and sushi were so fresh! Amazing tasting yakisoba too! The salad was so crispy fresh and the soup was delicious. We've ordered twice in two days! The price was just right. They are newly opened and are only accepting online and phone orders to take out, but my husband and I are super excited when we are able to dine in. We are so happy that we do not have to go far anymore to get great tasting sushi! read more

I was house sitting recently and came to this restaurant and I had the best service!! My phone died while I was there but the music was so good that it kept me entertained. It was 2010-2020 pop music! The sushi was beyond amazing and I was so happy when I saw the decoration piece! The hibachi was awesome and the vegetables were my favorite part. Good sushi is hard to come by but when I decided to try Sushi Call because it is close to my house, I was very pleasantly surprised. I always get Philadelphia Roll and Pork Gyoza. Both are absolutely yummy. I've been there at least 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Fairly priced and soo good. I would def recommend. read more

Always glad to have another sushi option close by! We did take out. We got the ribs for an app and they were really tasty! For sushi we got an Alaskan roll and the coconut shrimp roll. Fish was fresh for the Alaskan and the coconut shrimp was tasty! It has a curry sauce on top which was different but good! We also got the pad Thai and unfortunately we threw it away after we each had a bite. The sauce was tangy and weird and we just didn't like it. They also put in a soup and salad which were both good! I'm sure we'll order again but probably stick to ribs and sushi! read more

DO NOT EAT HERE!! my fiance and I ordered take out here. While eating the ban ban roll I started to choke on a fishbone that was left in the tuna. We had to call 911 and seek medical help since the bone was stuck in my throat. I called the restaurant the next day to inform them of the incident and go make them aware of their negligence. They disregarded my situation by telling me that there are no bones in their fish. I was told an owner would contact me that day. 48 hours past and no one called. I called back and told them I wanted a refund the $66 dollars worth of food that we ordered. They said the owner didn't call me back because he was busy. They also said that they could either give me a $20 giftcard or give me $35 dollars back. I told them that I choked and that someone could choke and die and they said that is the best that they can do, and that if I didn't like it I could call the heath department. I am definitely calling the health department on them! read more

There were a couple of times when I've received the wrong sushi roll or my entree never came out. However, the servers are usually very nice and will get your correct or missing order. Overall, I enjoy Sushi Q a lot and the Elkridge location is a classic favorite of mine!

We just stopped here for lunch because our other favorite Japanese restaurant Katana was closed on Tuesdays. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was very nice, and the service was excellent! We had the three roll lunch special, and the rollswere generously filled with very little rice, we also had the hibachi salmon lunch special which was excellent.
