    Sushi fish attack special

Our favorite neighborhood spot! The rolls are so delicious and the fish is so tasty. Service is great. The place is pretty full on weekends and Fridays so make sure you have a reservation or are ok with waiting a little!

Every time I come here, after a few months, I'm reminded why this is my favorite Sushi spot in the city. The fish is THE FRESHEST. I kid you not. The quality here is quite literally unmatched. Best place in town. Fish Attack Roll is always my go to.

Amazing sushi restaurant in Clairemont. Be careful, they have been working on the main street for awhile & there are some major potholes. They are only open for dinner. I have been here 2x within the last 3 months & both times have been wonderful! Customer service is super friendly & attentive. You cannot go wrong with any roll here! & they have beers from Japan too. Salmon Belly Nigiri: So fresh! Fish Attack Special Roll: Tasty, like a rainbow roll with tuna, salmon & other fish. Sushi Pizza: A must order! Crispy rice as the "dough" w/ delicious spicy tuna, yellowtail & sauce on the top. Hot Kiss Roll: My fav roll, so flavorful! Bomb Bomb Roll: A go to if you are a fried soft shell crab fan. Super Dragon Roll: Love this eel roll! Gyoza: Good. Shrimp Tempura: Lightly breaded.

We got the Hot Kiss Roll, Double Kick Roll, Sushi Pizza and Spicy Tuna Hand Roll. All of them were made wish very fresh fish. The rice was perfectly cooked and plates were beautifully crafted. Service was very polite and they were busy for a random Tuesday night! The interior is modern and upscale with a fantastic choice of jazzy music. The prices are reasonable, and I would 100% come again.

Sushi Fish Attack is my go-to neighborhood spot and a true hidden gem. The service is always warm and attentive, making every visit feel welcoming and relaxed even though the place is often packed. Come early. What really stands out is the quality of the fish--consistently fresh, generously thick-cut, and absolutely delicious. Whether you're a regular or stopping by for the first time, it's the kind of place that keeps you coming back.

I came here on a whim with some friends and was completely blown away. The fish is incredibly fresh--they have toro and belly--and the portions are generous without sacrificing presentation. You can tell the chefs take real pride in their work. We ordered a variety of rolls (the Firecracker and Crispy Salmon were standouts), plus a few nigiri, and every bite was perfect. The flavors were balanced, creative, and never overpowered the quality of the fish. Service was slow at first, but friendly. The vibe is fun and casual, but still clean and modern. Perfect for a night out with friends or a laid-back date night. Prices are reasonable for the quality, too. Can't wait to come back and try more. This place has officially become one of my top sushi spots in town.

I brought my friends here for the first time and they absolutely loved it! Shishito peppers: (5/5) These were cooked perfectly and covered in a delicious sauce. Cherry blossom roll: (5/5) This is my favorite roll. It confirmed how good it was when we decided to order two of them! Chu Toro sashimi: (5/5) This was on the specials board. It comes with five good sized pieces. We devoured them so quickly. The fish was so fresh and literally melted in your mouth. Definitely recommend trying this. It's bomb. Ex boyfriend roll: (4/5) Overall good flavors, but nothing special! Probably wouldn't order again.

I forget the exact name but it was one of their platters

I went to Fish Attack in San Diego, and it was amazing--delicious sushi, really decent prices for the area, and super friendly staff. I went back the next day and would definitely go again. The toro was really good! Melts in your mouth!

Nice and quaint place to eat food with a small group. Mom and pop vibes through and through. Good was really good and came out in a timely manner.

Quality sushi with a variety of menu items! We ordered the Bomb Bomb, the Fish Attack Special, and the Dynamite Salmon. Each specialty roll was flavorful and handcrafted to perfection. The sauce on the Bomb Bomb was a standout, and the quick and attentive service was great. The ambiance consisted of dim lighting and a nice chill vibe. I highly recommend checking Sushi Fish Attack out and trying these rolls!

I guess I've found my new sushi joint in SD. The fish was super fresh and melted in my mouth. My favorites are going to be the protein roll and fish attack stack which is perfect for the people who don't want rice. Extra point for the ginger being crisp and fresh too! The service was 5/5--all very kind and attentive, and the ambience felt like a lowkey local spot. I can't wait to come back!!

The reason I like this place is because it is a small sushi restaurant, but it is formal. The servers are very quick and don't talk too much, which is great. The sushi they have here is top-notch. Feel free to tip the sushi chefs. They have good deals on drinks and have a variety of different choices. They even have a menu with pictures that you can point to.

Called Chef Jun to confirm if we needed a reservation here, but they said they had tables available since we were planning on being there in 10-15 minutes. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the girls up front and sat at a nice table outside on the back patio. We ordered the chef's choice sashimi, poke, beer, and green grape soju. I ended up asking for lemonade too to mix with my soju since I rarely drink and do not like the taste of alcohol lol. The food was absolutely delicious, I wouldn't have changed anything about our meal! We left satisfied and were so impressed with the sashimi variety we were served. I had no idea amberjack existed, but it's definitely up there with my usual salmon sashimi favorite! We definitely got our money's worth. Service was incredible, our server Marylyn D (that was on our receipt) was sooo sweet and we really enjoyed her energy. (We love your pikachu tattoo btw!) She made sure to check on us and give us updates on when our food was coming, which we really appreciated. Overall 10/10. He was very friendly and helpful. Great customer service. We tried the Spicy Tontoksu Ramen with rice noodles (gluten-free) with crispy fish and the Braised Beef Ramen with fried gyoza. The food items were good & flavorful, especially considering the price point. Apparently, the ramen noodles are made in-house, which I enjoyed and had a nice bite. This is where I knocked off the star . Service was extremely slow and not very engaging ir relatable and not attentive for being a full service restaurant. We never got checked in on, waters were empty and no one seemed to notice our hand raised up to ask. This is the 2nd star knocked off. The sushi was ok, not the best we've ever had, but it matched the prices they charge for fresh fish. The restaurant has plenty of room to entertain staff, large groups and a hip spot to have lunch o your break if you're near by. They have a full bar which is also lovely and play great music to serve the atmosphere. They have 2 TVs to keep up with the news and sports. Outdoor seating is nice however transient can be a bit awkward for those eating and they tend to stand there, however observed security is seemed pretty quick about moving them along. Can't say we would be back anytime soon, but not a place to completely avoid either. Cheers yelpers!! Happy Eats!!
