Best sushi ever! My boyfriend and I cannot get enough of this place! Sushi is always fresh and so tasty. The waitresses are sweet and attentive. They recently updated their decor and looks great although I do miss their old wallpaper with various fish.

The food was so good!! I kept eating even though I was so full. The spicy crunch roll was my fave. The interior looks very clean and simple. Also had beer deals!

Been here a handful of times, we will come here just to get the oh my garlic roll. It's just so good, it melts in your mouth. I love the creaminess, and the garlicky flavor it just goes together so well. Garlic is amazing but who would have thought it'd go so well with sushi! We recently tried the hot mess, and we loved it, the crispy tempura, spicy tuna and sauce. They have such a wide selection of rolls, and food options. The food comes out quickly, the staff is very accommodating and it's just a casual quiet restaurant. Definitely get their Oh my Garlic Roll!

Wanted a little sushi and Found this spot close to my hotel while on business. Looking forward to sampling their menu

Welp guess I found our new sushi spot! Came to Sushi Kara out of convenience and left a happy customer. It definitely had the feel of a quick go-to local spot as opposed to a night-out vibe. But the fish quality, selection, and authenticity definitely stood out. To eat we had two rolls, some nigiri, and the i love salmon appetizer. The rolls were packed with flavor but not overly big or sauced up. The sushi was classic and made with greats cuts. Pro tip: order the real side of wasabi. Game changer! Whether you're looking for fun rolls or classic sushi, Sushi Kara is more than enough for a great sushi fix.

LOVED!! was craving sushi and decided to try this small, family owned business. Fish was super high quality!! We ordered bluefin tuna carpaccio, bluefin toro sushi, 3 hand roll lunch special, Scottish salmon carpaccio, and Scottish salmon sushi. I was surprised how thickly sliced the carpaccio was especially since most places do more fine and thin. The uni was so fresh I could taste the ocean. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area. The service was also amazing and the food came out super fast. (Alot of parking space in the plaza.)

Sushi Kara is awesome! I've been here more than a handful of times and it's always been great! It's a small restaurant with inside seating, and very clean. The workers are friendly and quick. I've brought family and friends and everyone loves it! They have a great selection of sushi!

The most recent visit was to meet some biz associates to enjoy entrees & apps. We shared calamari ($24), mussels ($23), fried rice ($30), fries ($7), and a couple of 18 oz bone-in ribeyes ($68/each) [sorry, not all items puctured]. My crew of five (including me), liked the calamari and steak & fries. The calamari was tender, the steaks were grilled medium rare, and the fries were GBD. However, the shrimp in the rice and the mussels were not fresh. Luckily, no one got sick later. Regarding the ambiance, its spacious in here. However, the amount of people seemed light on a Fri night around 6-7 pm. Our waiter Jason and the rest of the team were super nice & attentive. We received fresh plates and steak knives (we ordered a second steak later during the meal). I'd return for a good time w/ a large group. The place accommodates big parties well, and the service is really good. Nonetheless, keep in mind the food is hit & miss, and the prices are on the high side.

Everything was pretty good with my standouts being the hand-pulled noodles and the tofu & shiitake mushroom entree. You could tell the hand-pulled noodles were fresh and made by hand. The sauce on it was good but too salty. The tofu & shiitake dish was served in a savory and tasty home/brown sauce. The scallion pancake was good as well, just much thinner than other scallion pancakes. The Chinese broccoli was good, but I thought it was more bitter than usual Chinese broccoli dishes. So, I found this S T Noodle Bar near by and decided to give it a try. I kinda know what there guys like to eat, so I just ordered a bunch of food. The only request from anybody was for Pad Thai, the most common dish at all Thai restaurants. I GPS my way over and order the food. I was Khao Soy on the menu and I don't see that at too many Thai places that I've been to, so I got an order of that with chicken. Of course, an order of Pad Thai, 2 orders since I have 5 hungry people to feed. Also, I ordered the Thai coconut soup, I think it's called Tom Kha with chicken. One more noodles dish was the Drunken Noodles, it's kinda like Chinese Chow Fun, but has a more spicy flavor and basil in it. The food was all pack and bagged for me to take back to the hotel. We used my room since I have a bigger room. We had plates and set ups for all five of us and we re-plated the food on the serving plates that came with the room. All the food was really tasty and everybody was happy not to have to leave the hotel. I heard compliments on the Pad Thai and the Coconut soup. Off the bat, the portion sizes for the tom yum and pad thai were VERY generous (from my experiences with Thai restaurants). The pad thai stood out and was absolutely delicious! The service did great with helping us out and attending to our requests. The ambiance was relaxed, and where we sat in the back was cool because there was upbeat music playing loud enough to muffle the surrounding sounds but still soft enough to have conversation at our table without needing to raise our voice.
