Must eat here. The Ruby roll is delicious! The miso soup is pretty good too! I enjoy the sushi here and they do have happy hour on the food too! Service is good. I didn't take pictures, but I will the next time I go! The spicy tuna actually has a kick to it as well! There is a good amount of parking outside it's near a grocery store. This place is outstanding. They have what's probably the most extensive sushi menu I've seen, along with a happy hour menu with very reasonable prices. Service is always fast and efficient, your water glass proactively topped up, and the quality of the fish is better than average. We've been here several times even though there are closer choices to us, and if you're in the area, this place won't disappoint. It's in the same shopping center as Haggen, so there's plenty of parking. read more

Nice ambience. Clean. Friendly and efficient service. Nice nutty tea included with meal. Fish has always been fresh and good portion for nigiri. Himachi is like butter. Rolls are creative but many pseudo-sushi options are maybe to be avoided by purists (e.g. cooked, cream cheese). Love having this restaurant in the neighborhood and go frequently. What a find! Yelp directed us here on a Sunday afternoon when we were craving sushi. Plentiful parking as it shares a strip mall in the same shopping complex as Haggen. It was busy but we were seated promptly because we were only two people. When we were handed the menus , I saw why it was so busy. We had stumbled upon a sushi happy hour! How did we get this lucky?!! Service was excellent all the way through. We started with miso soup and it was one of the best I've ever had. We then enjoyed the agadashi tofu. It was well prepared but the sushi was a little on the soft side for me. My daughter inhaled her avocado rolls. We both enjoyed the volcano roll and Big Crunch roll. We got seated at a table for 5 people. Ordered 1 Gyoza, 1 Karaage, 1 Calamari, 1 Breaded Oyster, 1 Chicken Teriyaki, 1 FBI, 1 Boyfriend Roll and 3 California Rolls. The service is always great, even during the rush hours if the resturant is packed the servers put you on a wait list and call you as soon as a table opens up. The sushi rolls themselves are the best I've ever had. They have two different main types of rolls. Konami rolls and Konami specialty rolls. The specialty rolls cost more. The regular Konami rolls range in price from $7-$16 but if you purchase 3 it turns into a Konami set for only $35 so make sure to get your money's worth because 3 rolls will always be input as the Konami set. They have so many great rolls to offer you'll just have to try them, but if you enjoy spicy tuna and panko fried foods my all time favorite is the Crunchy tuna. They also have some great shrimp options. read more

I have been to Konami atleast 3 times since I moved here in December 2021 and I have absolutely no complaints. Each visit was either during lunch or during happy hour. We got seated pretty quickly and the service is always good. Their waitstaff and chefs are always kind. The food: We've ordered a variety of the appetizers, rolls, and nigiri. The appetizers are basic but overall they're pretty good. The only thing we've tried and really didn't like is their calamari - it was VERY tough and practically inedible. Looked like a cut of octopus/squid not typically seen in calamari so maybe it's just a personal preference. The sushi itself is always delicious. The fish is fresh and they have a really great variety. Probably the best nigiri I've had in awhile. We'll 100% be back. read more

I would rate this quality of sushi with a solid B, the service and ambiance is an B+. Decent quality for a reasonable price. It's not Shiro's in Seattle, but then again your not paying that premium price either. When it comes to sushi fresh and raw is best, I couldn't care less about the price, if it's an A+. read more
