Decent and affordable sushi. Most of the rolls are deep fried and the portion is great for the buck! If you want to try sushi but not a fan of raw fish, this is the place.

Yellow tail, bad boy, spicy mix

Quiet and clean interior with minimal staff. Server was polite and quick with taking orders and refilling drinks. Slight wait for the food but well worth it. The yellow tails roll had more wasabi than I could stomach but the two other rolls were delicious.

Playboy Roll, salmon nigiri, spicy tuna roll

Firstly the food is amazing, I went an hour before closing and was greeted and sat at a table immediately. I enjoyed the atmosphere and service from my waiter was excellent. I received my drink fast and soup while I looked at the menu. Both my rolls were made perfectly and tasted amazing the nigiri was fresh and I received my food in less than 10 minutes I highly recommend sushi monster

Lover's Roll and Chicken Katsu

Was hungry and looking for a late lunch and found Sushi Monster in the area. Headed there and found it. Wasn't very busy when we arrived and thought maybe it was due to the time we arrived. Got seated quickly and we were brought some miso soup. The broth was clear and had a slight miso soup flavor. I'm used to actually seeing the miso cloud in my soup so I think they didn't mix it before scooping it. Ordered the chicken katsu and the Lovers Roll sushi. A salad was served with a ginger type dressing and it was okay. Lettuce was cold and crisp. Then the katsu and roll showed up. The katsu sauce was really good and the chicken was coated well. The mixed vegetables were pretty good too. The sushi roll was pretty tasty too. So the food was pretty good and the service was fine. People started to trickle in as we ate. I would recommend this place.

Heart attack

The service was prompt, and so was the food. You do get your food fast after ordering. Water service was also fast and was being topped off often. Being prompt is a big plus for business, but the food was all over the place. Let me explain. The flavors were similar to each other as in all rolls taste alike and about 80% of their rolls have cream cheese (why?) . There was one thing I enjoyed, and that was the heart attach appetizer. My criticism on that and all crunchy rolls was the excess amount of panko crumbs topped on all rolls.A little goes a long way with toppings. We ordered 3 different rolls, and the filling to rice ratio was disappointing, and they all fell apart before getting to my mouth. That's a problem for sushi. We also ordered a chicken Katsu plate, and the crunch was spot on, but the chicken was too thin to enjoy the taste. I did like the ginger salad dressing on my salad as that was refreshing. The fried rice lacked flavor, and my veggies were a bit too salty but cooked right. Sadly, I don't think I will return here as nothing impressed me. The atmosphere was too dim, and the place could benefit from some better lighting.

Always nice sushi at a fair price, we eat here regularly and enjoy. 3 sushi rolls and drinks 27.00, pretty fair to me

We loved this place. The service was quick and the food was bomb. Every roll exceeded our expectations and it wasn't too crowded (mind you went on a week night). The fish on the sunrise roll was like BUTTER. We haven't had sushi this good outside of the West Coast. - texture - flavor - portion size

Great service, so-so on the sushi rolls, pretty good pot stickers. One good thing about this place are that they are super quick! I waited probably 3 minutes for my rolls to come out. Not as good as other cheap sushi places in the area, but for sure would return.

My hubby and I love this restaurant:) We came here with another family, and everything we ordered was devoured. Even their kids liked the food. I highly recommend the Volcano sushi roll! It's so good!! Actually, all of the rolls we ordered were good, but that one was my favorite (although, that particular roll is a bit on the pricey side). The ham fried rice and shrimp noodles were tasty, too. They were actually the first dishes to get scarfed, lol. We will definitely be back!

A big bowl of food but it was cleaned dry before we left! - The chashu don was a delightful mix of tiny pieces of salty, fatty, crispy pork, hot rice, cold vinegar pickle slices - The sundae was my least favorite but still delicious! I just don't love matcha flavor. We still downed the whole thing! The service - The restaurant was packed on a Friday, we got on the waitlist and had a lovely walk around the neighborhood. - Once seated, you order yourself from a QR code. It took literally TWO MINUTES from when we ordered to getting our whipped tofu, and the other dishes were also a short wait, which I was not expecting with how busy they were!! - They refilled our water, gave us updates on when our food would come out, and had really great service overall! The vibes - I loved sitting at the bar, with the warm wood, green tile backing, view into the kitchen, and nice music playing in the background.

Update 2 This…read more"James" started attacking me via private message. This is absurd. Update 1 It's incredible to see this James L, the "employee," jump out and lie. I went to the door to your kitchen and asked for help. No yelling or screaming. Once you got a bad review, you started attacking your customer. What a brilliant tactic! Your act makes you a total clown. Original Post My friend and I tried this place a few nights ago. The entire experience can be summarized in one sentence. The teppanyaki* chef was professional and friendly. The boss's service attitude was a deal breaker. First, some context. We came for all-you-can-eat, but we were not trying to stuff ourselves or eat until we were uncomfortable. We just wanted a good meal with a good experience. In a typical teppanyaki meal, meat and vegetables are served first, and fried rice or noodles are served at the end. At this restaurant, they began with fried rice and noodles immediately. It was apparent they were trying to fill people up early. Honestly, this kind of tactic is easy to spot, but since we were not planning to overeat anyway, we let it slide. You could also tell the process was carefully designed. The first round was cooked fresh in front of you, which felt engaging and fun. After that, if you wanted to order more, everything had to be made in the back of the house and brought out later. This was clearly stated on the menu, so, from a rule-based perspective, it was acceptable, but from an experiential perspective, the live-cooking element diminished noticeably. To be fair, the chef during the first round was great. He was friendly and engaging, interacting with guests throughout the cooking process. The atmosphere at that point was pleasant. Once that first round was over, the experience quickly went downhill. My friend and I ordered another round of beef and shrimp to share. We ultimately waited half an hour. We repeatedly asked, and the only response we received was "almost ready." The problem was that my friend needed to catch a flight after dinner, so time was tight. I eventually went to the kitchen and asked what was going on. I was told by a boss-looking guy very seriously that grilling takes more time if you want it to taste good. That explanation made no sense, since the teppanyaki had been cooked earlier in just a few minutes. After more than thirty minutes, the food finally arrived. It was a tiny plate, about six or seven slices of beef and six or seven pieces of chicken. I did not mind the portion size. Smaller portions are better than wasting food. But things got worse. We had ordered beef and shrimp. What arrived was chicken and beef. Even worse, the meat was lukewarm, clearly not freshly cooked. After we pointed this out to the server, less than a minute later, a freshly cooked plate of shrimp was brought out. The color and temperature made it obvious it was just made, which only confirmed that the earlier beef had been prepared in advance and was sitting around. I asked to speak with the owner or boss. The staff told me the person I had spoken to in the back kitchen earlier was the boss. When he came out, he did not look at us directly, spoke while turned to the side, and never offered an apology. He repeatedly said, "We don't know what to do." At that point, this was no longer about the food. It was about basic service attitude and basic respect. I fully understand that running a restaurant is hard. Being busy, making mistakes, or having process issues are all understandable. But when a customer gives serious feedback, and the response is dismissive, indifferent, and shows no remorse, that is not a simple mistake. It implies that the customer does not matter. *One last note. Strictly speaking, this place is not hibachi but teppanyaki. The name does not matter, nor does the format. In the service industry, what truly matters is sincerity and basic respect for customers.

The space is large with individual pagoda to sit in to add ambience. The menu had a photo of each roll, pieces of sushi or Chinese dishes. The lobby was quite large and lots of advertisement for additional businesses. Each one of these is a warning sign, I ignored. We ordered three separate rolls with different combinations. Now, our problems surfaced as there is so much aoili sauce on each roll, I can't tell which is which. We needed a knife to scoop the sauce to the side so we could identify each roll. All you could taste was an occasional crunch and lots of sauce. Tokyo Tower Japanese is not a place we will be frequenting in the future. It is lower quality, heavy-heavy aioli sauce and cheap sushi. The signs were there, but I ignored till the rolls arrived. Diner beware!
