The food is amazing and it's all you can eat or à la carte. The ambiance is so pretty and well thought out. The service is amazing and they are so helpful and accommodating.

I give this place 5 stars! It was delicious, and they do all you can eat sushi. The portions are smaller, but you can order as much as you want within a 2-hour time frame. We had such a great time beautiful ambiance, super accommodating staff, and definitely kid-friendly.

Officially our new favorite AYCE sushi experience in the New Orleans area. There have been a few new places like this popping up lately and after visiting a handful of them, Sushi Nami is our favorite by far. It's a great way to try some new selections. They have lively clean feeling decor, great selections on the menu, fresh fish and kind efficient service. We will be back, and we are bringing friends!!

This is the first sushi place in New Orleans that really impressed me. I love the decor of the restaurant; it has a nice cherry blossom aesthetic. The sushi itself was really good. The nigiri has a good presentation and flavor, especially the spicy tuna. As a nigiri lover I was impressed with the freshness and good flavor. The smoked salmon nigiri was buttery and flavorful. The server brought our food in good time and was very attentive throughout the day. Also the ice cream is really good. I would say the price for the AYCE is a pretty good deal especially at lunch. This place gets a perfect score from me. I will be coming back on my next visit.

My cousin and I tried this place for lunch. It's a great option for trying a lot of different things without paying a crazy price. Fyi..they do charge if you don't finish eating certain items. They bring things out really quickly and in small portions. Good concept to allow you to taste a bit of everything. Everything was pretty good except the scallops and fried rice. They were fried and tasted weird...not like a scallop. Some things on the menu are not included in the all you can eat price but there are still PLENTY of options. I would visit again. Free parking is always a plus too.

All you can eat sushi? Sign me up. The ambiance is pretty awesome. When you arrive you are seated quickly. The service is also a 5/5. We ask for the same waitress every time we go. Yes I'm gate keeping her name :) The sushi here is tasty and fresh! I think the price point is pretty affordable for all you can eat sushi. There is also an event room space that has karaoke. I haven't utilized that amenity yet, but I could see it being a future option. Finally, parking can be an issue as they share a lot with multiple businesses, so pack your patience along with your elastic waist pants.

It's not often I can offer my highest praise to an all you can eat restaurant but Sushi Nami is simply AWESOME! Each dish is prepared by artisans that see to it that each dish looks like artwork. I have had many great meals there and they are happy to keep the dishes coming until you are satisfied. I've had meals at nobu and local sushi places that run 5X the price of Sushi Nami but truly, the difference is negligible. The staff is awesome, the restaurant is cool and stunning, it's clean and modern and I would eat there several times a week, if time permitted. A wonderful gem in Metairie!

The all you can eat dishes were very tasty. We ordered appetizers, soups, Nigiri, rolls, and sashimi. The interior of the restaurant was beautifully decorated. Our server was very kind and attentive.

For the very low price of just $33 for all you can eat sushi plus one beverage of your choice (including your first glass of wine or sake), it's not a bad deal at all. All of the sushi is not that great and some of the other menu items, like the fried rice, gyoza, and fried scallop, aren't really good at all. But I'm sure you can find a couple rolls you like since it's so many to choose from. The service here is pretty amazing, they are very attentive and continuously check on you throughout your visit. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful and very family and solo diner friendly.

Walking in made me think of something in Vegas/so festive! When we arrived it wasnt busy at all but there was a party in the event room across the way. Our waitress Lacy was super sweet and made sure we understood exactly how the AYCE situation worked. The options were great and although some things took longer because of the party-the waitress was very apologetic & made sure to check on things that seemed to be taking too long. Everything I had was delicious except I did not enjoy the sashimi squid (I was just being adventurous lol). My faves were the Rainbow Roll, eel & yellow fin sashimi and my shrimp and noodles. My husband had the cold sake and said it was good. I'd definitely come back!

This is my fifth time at Sushi Nami for all you can eat sushi. The ambience of the place is really cool and the workers are very nice and attentive! As for the sushi, I feel like each time I come it's a different experience. Half the time, the sushi has been so fresh and amazing and the other half it's mid. I would say this is a good spot to come if you're looking to feast and the fried Oreos were bomb (but an extra fee). AYCE is $33/ person which is comparable to sushi masa which is $35/person (but more consistent in my opinion).

It's the Piccadilly of sushi. Won't be returning... pretty standard store bought tasting. Instagram influencers really hyped this place up.

We have come here so often over the years that the regular staff knows our orders even before we do. It's nice to be remember, makes the experience a little more personal. My kids have been eating here since they were 1yr old and this is still one of their favorite to eat. Very kid friendly. Chefs span the range from a serious cook the food experience to a full cooking show, complete with train whistles, egg tricks, and lots of fire flames. My son knows their cooking show so well that he will object if they don't do the volcano or train tricks.!it's great. The chefs also accommodate each of the guests for their hibachi experience. We like LOTS of garlic butter but not teriyaki sauce. Some guests like no garlic or extra eggs in the fried rice. I've seen them make many accommodations. We are here today for Mother's Day 2026 and are having another great experience.

Group of 9, arrived at 5:30 pm right when they opened. We ordered immediately. I ordered a roll w/ 1 modification spicy tuna instead of salmon. My roll never came. Everyone else was done eating & my roll was apparently 'still getting made because of modification'. After waiting 1.5 hrs I decided to cancel. Manager came over & offered an impressive NOTHING to compensate for his sushi chefs completely forgetting my order. Shogun is smack dab between 2 all you can eat places. I think I will patronize sushi Nami & sushi masa before returning to shogun. It's legit nothing special & they don't understand customer service. After 36 yrs of eating there I'm super over it.
