This place is so nice and service is good, don't sit by the window if the sun is out lol because it got really hot and warm when we were there. We waited a little bit before getting seated but the food came out like 10-15 minutes late as it was busy on a Sunday afternoon. I really had to get up and ask the server to give us soy sauce and ginger because our server didn't come to the table even when I tried to wave at him. while other tables had soy sauce and ginger given beforehand. The sushi was good and the appetizer was really good. They also had new things on the menu as well. The handroll had too much spicy salmon in it but was okay. The miso soup was good but a little bland.

Sushi Nova has a very extensive AYCE menu! They have a lovely little patio next to a park and it is BYOB. We brought a bottle of wine with us and our entire group ordered the all you can eat option. We shared the crab rangoons, miso soup, carpaccio, and tuna tartar to start and then we shared some of the specialty rolls. The service was fast and friendly. Make sure you save room for dessert, the mochi and tempura banana was delicious!

Wow! This is the freshest, fastest, all you can eat sushi I have ever been to in my life. The service is great and all the sushi we had was phenomenal and fresh. The place is right across from the zoo so it's a great place to eat after your big adventure. They got sushi boats too! I didn't order enough sushi for that but maybe next time.

This is my favorite spot for all-you-can-eat sushi! Everything was super fresh, and the service was really on point. I'm not sure if it's a newer place--there's no wait like most AYCE sushi spots, which was a nice surprise. One thing I loved is that when you order a roll, they include a little bit of sashimi on the side. Such a great bonus! I'll definitely be back.

Great dinner at Sushi Nova. It was a Thursday night and there was plenty of room for two to dine. Had the edamame and shared two rolls. Good casual spot for a date night. Quick service and friendly staff.

Tried out sushi nova for the first time and it was delicious! Can't wait to be back. My favorites were veggie Godzilla roll, fire dragon roll, sweet potato and shiitake mushroom one! The service is amazing and it's a huge location -- definitely great for a date night or hangout with friends.

Sushi Nova was fantastic! My boyfriend and I tried the sushi buffet, but the fried rolls were so large that one round was more than enough. My parents ordered raw rolls à la carte, which were smaller. Maybe buffet rolls are intentionally bigger to fill you up faster? Or the fried rolls are bigger? Either way, everything was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly, and the restaurant was clean and inviting. I'll definitely be back. Next time, I'll skip the buffet and order à la carte!

Great service here. Had to move from outside to inside due to a bee circling us but they were very accommodating. I thought there could be more variety in the rolls but generally really fresh fish. My only complaints is that the spicy salmon is 50% panko with grinded up salmon that you can't really taste. That was a bummer

Sushi was phenomenal! Our server Julian was great and extremely attentive, funny and kind. Also, music playlist was fireeee

There is an issue I have with some breweries, that being their beer menus are greater than 50% IPA's, when I am averse to IPA's. Substitute IPA with crab (i.e. the imitation sticks), crunch, and/or some kind of tempura, and we arrive at the same problem. In fact, I made a spreadsheet (you can tell I'm a "man in finance," can't you?) Their AYCE Dinner menu has 24 "signature" rolls. Of these: nine have crab, ten have tempura-something or crunch (effectively, bread), one is fried, and one is rolled with soybean paper instead of nori. That leaves a grand total of three rolls from their menu of 24 signature items I would be open to ordering. Not only am I generally not a fan of these ingredients, but I feel as though they cheapen the roll. As if they are added only to add heft, i.e. they are added to make the roll appear bigger. The two I ordered, the Sunny Roll and Fire Phoenix Roll did have crab (oops - didn't realize how many contain 'crab' sticks. While the fire phoenix was decent (thanks at least in part to the torched salmon), the sunny roll was a massive miss. The crab on top made the whole thing feel like something you'd get at a cheap buffet. Neither of these rolls seemed high quality. Not gas station level, but also not something I would order again. Where I do want to give some points is the nigiri. The salmon nigiri specially allowed the fish to shine, and only here one could tell it was high quality. Similar with the Ikura nigiri and the eel handroll - perhaps not S-tier, but very respectable. Where it comes to the service, I thought it was friendly, and appropriately fast and attentive. The vibe is modern with lovely and not overdone gold tones. I wanted to give them a huge amount of credit for value, for $32 for AYCE sushi in Chicago is a killer deal on the surface. However, the quality and selection were such that I cannot see myself returning.

The nigiri sea Seabass Sushi was good and my favorite was the spicy tuna hand roll

Good value for the all you can eat dinner. I loved the spicy tuna hand roll. The poke bowl was good as well, large pieces of fish!

Very spacious interior and they have patio seating too. It was kinda loud even though the place was only half full. Many good options on the ayce menu. The 2-1 spicy tuna roll and the carpaccio sampler were pretty good. We also got the soft shell crab appetizer. The cucumber salad was meh as was the veggie tempura. I would suggest to come in with more people so you can try more things. If you have a big table with a decent number of people, the orders may come on a boat.

Subpar first experience at Sushi Nova. They were extremely understaffed for how busy it was and service was not very good. Our edamame was cold, and all of the sushi rolls were very mid, 3/5. Chicken fried rice was the best thing that we got, 4/5. Sushi Nova does do a great all you can eat deal. Nice patio area.

We waited like 5 minutes for a table but were seated at a small two person booth/table. Our server was pretty busy but attentive and knew a lot about the menu. We ordered the wedge salad and the yellowtail sushi roll. It was spicy and had a nice touch of yuzu on top and the fish was relatively fresh. The wedge salad had plenty of dressing on it and it was pretty good. For the main we got the Chilean sea bass which was very sweet and savory. The scallops had a perfect sear and they were pretty very rich and buttery. The broccolini was steamed and fresh. He finished off dinner with the crème brûlée and the Keylime pie, both of us we had to take home because we were so full. I think overall this experience is pleasant, not something very memorable, but I'm happy I've came here!

We went before the dinner rush on a Saturday. There's a small parking lot in the back but that was full so we parked on the street. We were immediately seated and drink orders were taken as well as soup (which is included). Drinks are added separately and not inclusive of the $34 per person. I had the borscht and that was tasty and comforting. My brother in law didn't waste any time and he immediately got his first plate going. My sister and I took our time to enjoy the soup. I then started with the appetizers and tried the different salads. It was cool to see they had aspic since that's not something you see often either. When I eventually made my way to the warm food, I was overwhelmed by all the choices. I tried to take one of everything but even then it was too much so I didn't get to try it all. The meats that I did try were super tender and juicy. They definitely know what they're doing with the meats! The dessert area had so many different options. There was cake, flan and cheesecakes. So many to choose from! I think I just love Polish food in general because of the comfort food aspect. The proteins are usually simmered in gravy and you get to pair it with potatoes cooked in all sort of ways! My sister was adventurous and just started putting random stuff on her plate that I've never seen before. She found the meat spread and that was surprisingly good too. If you're ever in the area, try to go before the dinner rush. It's a great space and is deserving of the title "Largest Polish buffet in Chicagoland".

Lunch and dinner prices appear to be the same (over $30) for adults but even though the waitress asked how old our kids were, she charged us less, so win on that! Husband liked the carved meats and kids loved the dumplings and all the mini desserts and fruit. I had a bit of dumpling and some sausage and rice, but was getting over a headache, so this was not a gorging meal for me. Very nice waitress and we didn't feel rushed or crowded even though they were busy.
