Stopped by this sushi spot for dinner and was really impressed with their omakase. The fish was fresh and beautifully presented, and every piece tasted great. We also ordered a couple of additional rolls, which were just as delicious. It's a very casual restaurant, making it an easy spot for a relaxed dinner. The staff were friendly and nice. Definitely planning to come back to try more items on the menu!

Had a quick Sunday dinner at Sushi Pro. The service was fast, and the wait was only about 15 minutes, which wasn't bad at all for a weekend night. Hightlight: Kaisen don: stunning and flavorful with salmon, scallops, tuna, uni, and ikura. Fish-to-rice ratio is exactly where it needs to be, and everything just went well together. Chirashi bowl: I do love the thick fish cut (actually preferred it over the kaisen don), but we made the mistake for not getting the deluxe chirashi (added uni and tuna belly I believe). We accidentally ordered the regular one, and the fish-to-rice ratio was a bit off (too much rice). Also, while salmon and tuna were great, the other white fish tasted a bit too fishy for my liking. Price: A bit higher than other sushi spots in Bay Area Overall: Solid food but I think this might be a one time only visit for me

This was our second time here and we loved it even more than the first time. The food is super yummy and price isn't that bad! The waiters are very attentive, refilling our water cups, picking up empty dishes on the go! We loved the ambiance of the place. Brought all the kids and they were able to accommodate us even with a walk in on a busy night.

My favorites were the California Roll, Salmon Lover Roll, and Dragon Roll. The California Roll was simple, with fresh avocado and a good ratio of rice to filling. The Salmon Lover Roll tasted clean and fresh, with slices of salmon that didn't taste or smell fishy. The Dragon Roll had a combination of flavors from the eel and the avocado layered on top, with the eel sauce adding a subtle sweetness. The Lion King Roll and Monster Roll were okay. They had a decent flavor, but didn't stand out compared to the other rolls.

Came back to try other items :) Service is still great. For such a small place, I have to say they have quite a few waiters and waitresses (at least 3) working there. They all do everything fast - serve the food, clean tables and take orders. Kudos to the team. The Unagi appetizer is nice and the meat is pretty thick. This is a good option if you are carb conscious and can skip the rice. The toro and seared salmon belly with truffle are awesome. They just melt in your mouth, so good! The sushi combo is interesting. The presentation is excellent. I wish they would at least tell us what each piece of nigiri is when they bring this dish to our table. We could not tell what we were eating for two of the pieces. They just drop it off at the table and left in a hurry Please at least educate us next time what the chef made.

This was a really good sushi spot! The quality of fish is good and I enjoyed the flavors. The wait wasn't too long and the service was quick. You do order online by yourself though. There were some gnats flying around which was annoying. Overall good and I would get takeout.

Came here on a Friday night because I was craving nigiri. There was a short wait since seating was full, but there was no line. Once we were seated, we used the QR code to order. There wasn't much interaction with the staff since ordering is done through the app. The place is cozy, clean, and nice. I ordered the sake salmon nigiri, seared salmon belly nigiri, toro nigiri, and scallop hotate. The salmon and toro were my favorites. I also got the toro roll, which was good, and really enjoyed the oysters. This is my new favorite spot in San Jose for nigiri.

Came here for take out. Service was ok. Waited about 20 mins to get our order. As far as the sushi rolls, both were great and would definitely order them again. It is a small restaurant so it can feel a bit closing when it's packed. But other than that I'd like to try other food from their menu.

My third time back to Sushi Pro. They do a great job with plating their food and the price you pay is on point. My friend lives in Fremont but remembers how wonderful the food tasted. He asked to meet here again. Sure enough, the food is aim to please. He really like how the lunch bento came with fresh salad, small appetizer and miso. I ordered the sashimi lunch bento and my friend ordered the unagi lunch bento. Pictures are worth a thousand words.

5 stars for this amazing sushi establishment. I came here for dinner 2 consecutive days. And that's just the minimum. I could probably be here daily. I love everything that we've tried. The Kaisen Don is perfect for sharing. Scallop carpaccio is fresh and flavorful. Uni with toro hand roll is out of this world. We love ordering a variety of nigiris as well. Fresh quality fish for a great price. My new favorite sushi spot in San Jose.

Fresh Sushi & Super Fast Service! We spotted Sushi Pro packed at 7pm and decided to try it anyway. We got seated right away! I've never eaten so much sushi in one sitting. We ordered the Charmander Roll, chirashi salmon, toro nigiri, salmon belly nigiri, and then the omakase. Everything was delicious. the fish was amazingly fresh, high quality, and full of flavor. Ordering through the QR code was so easy. We hit submit and our two beers showed up in under a minute! The rest of the food came out really fast too. Later we saw everyone getting the omakase special, so we ordered it. it took about 30 minutes (understandable when the place was full), but totally worth it. My husband works right around the corner and had no idea this spot existed. The quality blew us away. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommend for fresh, tasty sushi with quick service.

It is! It's the only way I order. They present the menu inside on an iPad. Not sure why they don't have one on the website, but also note they close at 2:30 some days to prepare for dinner.

It did feel a bit cramped but fortunately I was just in and out. Service was great too! We got the Lion King and a sashimi platter. The lion king was SOOO good. I always get worried ordering this at new sushi spots because I feel like it can be a hit or miss (especially when they load waaay too much spicy mayo on it lol) - this roll had the perfect amount where it wasn't too overpowering. The service was good--the servers were very friendly and attentive, and our food came out pretty quickly after we ordered as well. We ordered two of the sashimi sampler alongside the hamachi lover roll. I liked the roll! The ratio of fish, rice, and avocado were great. The sashimi sampler, however, was a little disappointing. The presentation was a little awkward--long, thin cuts of fish folded up into little bowls and scattered with greens. 4 of the 6 pieces were seared, which I have never expected when ordering sashimi. The pricing was a little on the higher end of normal, and, while the food was decent, it doesn't outdo any of the other local sushi spots that I have visited in the area. The roll was ~$17 and the sashimi sampler nearly $18. Overall, I think Goku Sushi is a decent spot. If I'm nearby and craving sushi, it is definitely in the running, even if it isn't my first choice. I'd personally ask for details on the contents of any of their samplers/combos in the future, though.

You can truly feel the care they put into both the food and the dining experience. While my son and I aren't huge seafood or sushi eaters, we can absolutely appreciate the artistry behind Trifecta's sushi. Every dish is beautifully presented, thoughtfully crafted, and made with incredibly fresh ingredients and elevated garnishes. We're just admittedly picky eaters who tend to gravitate toward our comfort favorites like chicken or beef teriyaki. The restaurant is usually packed, so reservations are definitely recommended if you don't want a long wait. Surprisingly, this visit was a little quieter than usual, which made for a nice relaxed atmosphere. My husband and daughter were interested in trying the Chef's Tasting Menu, but we learned it's designed as a full-table dining experience where everyone participates -- something we may plan for another visit. The standout dishes of the night were definitely the corn ribs and chicken karaage. The corn ribs disappeared before I could even snap a photo because everyone devoured them immediately! My family also loved the Pork Adobo Ribs special. I'll admit, Trifecta is more of a special occasion restaurant for us. The bill can climb quickly, especially with multiple sushi lovers at the table, but the quality, creativity, service, and overall experience absolutely reflect that higher-end dining experience. This isn't your average weekly sushi spot -- it's a place you go to celebrate. To top off the night, the staff surprised us with dessert decorated with sparkling light-up fireworks, which made our birthday celebration feel extra festive and thoughtful. The only downside of the evening had nothing to do with the restaurant itself -- unfortunately, a couple at a nearby table was quite loud, drunk, and disruptive. Thankfully, the incredible food and attentive staff still made the night feel special overall. Highly recommended for celebrations, date nights, and anyone looking for elevated food paired with exceptional hospitality.

For me, the limited liquor license alone means I knock off one star. Our server was kind but didn't seem to have much experience with subtlety. She immediately suggested the tasting menu for $125 a person. That turned me off. Minus another star. We shared the kaisen don, uni carbonara, 2 x chawamushi, edamame, and two drinks. Total came out to $170. - Kaisen don was excellent. The Filipino flare on the rice was delicious. - Uni carbonara was ok. The pasta was undercooked and uni smelled a little. Minus half a point. - Chawanmushi was weird. Deconstructed longansina was too sweet and the scallop was over cooked and hard. Minus half a point. - The menu did not list the chardonnay house or year. It tasted like box wine.
