Sushi Q also sell Korean hotdogs!

Excellent quick serve sushi that is easy to pickup in the Florida Mall food court. I generally don't eat at food courts but this is easy in and out with a friendly owner. The convenience of supermarket sushi with a great taste. Generous portions at a great price even if it is not Wednesday. IYKYK. They also have boba teas that are pickup and pay. This is the first stall as you enter the food court which is immediately in front of you as you enter through the main doors. They offer 20 pct off the last hour of the day. The bubble teas are great and since a lot of the food is ready and waiting, hard to resist.

Great option to pick up sushi while shopping at Florida Mall. They have a great selection of sushi, bento boxes, coated corn dogs, bao, and bubble tea. If you come during the last hour of operation, they offer a 20% discount. The fish is fresh and the rolls are well made, so they don't fall apart when eating them. The staff is friendly and answers your questions. Since they are near the entrance of the dining pavilion, it is not too noisy. Plus, there are plenty of tables nearby to eat at.

Sushi Q was a find on Too Good to Go that I have now visited several times. They are located in the dining pavilion of Florida Mall, so it can be a little busy, but the team is very friendly and accommodating. I've enjoyed the fresh sushi, bento boxes, poke bowls and boba teas.

Located inside the dining pavilion (food court)! Solid spot for a quick sushi fix while shopping. They've got a decent variety -- rainbow rolls, spicy tuna, dragon rolls, etc. I also liked that they had ramen, Korean corn dogs and bao, so there's more to pick from if you're not feeling sushi. Good option if you want something quick and not super heavy.

Corn dog was not fresh (possibly great lamp or microwaved) and the sushi was a bit stale. Service was quick and there was no wait.

I hadn't been here since before pandemic, so I hoped the restaurant was still on their game. I needn't have been concerned! From arrival, to seating, to service, to selection, all top notch. Carving station. Fresh crepes. Omelette station. WALL of deserts. Full raw bar. Crab legs. Mimosas. Great selection of traditional breakfast options and salads. If you are not satisfied here, give up (smile)!! And the topper was the live jazz trio playing in the beautifully sunlit rotunda surrounded by all of the aforementioned delicacies. Expensive, but well worth it to treat yourself occasionally.

There was also live jazz playing near the buffet, which added such a nice, relaxing vibe. Parking downtown can be tricky, so we used the hotel valet, but there are nearby garages as well if you prefer to self-park. The buffet was phenomenal. My favorites were the mac and cheese, prime rib, shrimp (they were HUGE), crab legs, and the tableside cinnamon bun dessert -- honestly worth the trip just for that. My only downside was that the oysters didn't taste very fresh. Overall, the ambiance was beautiful and it's a perfect brunch spot for a date or a family outing. Definitely a lovely Sunday experience!

They walked us through ordering via Uber Eats instead and prepared our food as soon as we showed them the confirmation. They were even kind enough to let us dine in, despite the app being set to takeout. As for the food--it was fantastic. The Fried Chicken Bao was easily the highlight of the night. Side Note: Check the Uber Eats app before you order; they sometimes have Buy One, Get One deals on the bao! Highly recommended for a late-night fix.

When you order delivery you almost have to expect soggy food that's at best like warm, but every single time I've gotten The Bao Spot delivered they have packaged things smartly and the food has been perfect! I'm especially fond of the Spicy Chicken Bao, the buns are so pillowy and light, the chicken is insanely crispy and flavored all the way through. If you're a fan of spicy bite, this one has it! The Gyoza are top notch and the dipping sauce is so yummy! The decor of the place looks amazing and creative, one of these days I'm going to head over and check it all out in person because it looks fun and inviting!

They have a little sign by the street to help you find it/advertising, as it's in the hallway of the plaza. It's on the ground level so we didn't have to take any stairs or elevator. Upon entry, there was no one to greet us. We headed to the register where they had a bunch of menus and pictures. While we were looking, the lady came out from the back with food items for someone who was already seated. Everything looked good. There was a guy waiting for his order to go, another guy waiting to eat by himself, and another lady also waiting to eat by herself. There was some interview going on between two guys- sounded like it was about the restaurant as I heard them talking about kimchi fried rice. It sounded so good, I ordered that with shrimp. Mom had the bento box lunch. We asked for two cups for water, which she said she would bring to us. We sat for awhile, and saw the others and the to go person get their food. The water cups did not come until after she brought us our food. Maybe that's the way they do it? Anyhow- our food was out in a reasonable time and everything was delicious. I tried some of mom's beef bento box- she got the bulgogi beef and we were both a little shocked that it was ground beef and not thin slices, but the flavor was spot on. My mom did not finish her lunch and I had a small portion of rice left. When I asked for one to go box- the lady almost seemed upset that I didn't want two! She asked me what about my leftovers? To which I said my mom was taking everything in one box. lol. We don't like to waste and I wasn't going to toss mine but it seemed silly to get another box for the little bit of rice I had. So we put it all in one. We paid at the register and took our box. There are many more items on the menu I'd like to try. My mom was pretty impressed with the place. It's nothing to look at, really, but the food is good and she will probably bring her friends here for lunch.

Yes they are expensive. But the interior is beautiful, service is always outstanding, and the food has unique twists....Worth it I especially love the crisp rice bites and slider menu. Perfect stop with friends before heading out for the night. It gets too loud on a weekend night for a date but during the week it would make a great date night destination. They wouldn't be my go-to for sushi, but it's not bad either. The only small suggestion I'd love to see, is adding a rotating special cocktail to the happy hour menu. The happy hour drink list is very unimpressive given the normal drink menu

The food was good, the presentation was excellent, and everything was prepared well. The shrimp tempura was crispy and flavorful, and the sushi was a great complement. One thing I will say is that I personally prefer the atmosphere during dinner service. I visited during brunch, and while I can see the appeal, the atmosphere and music just weren't quite my taste. For me, the dinner atmosphere is more laid-back, relaxing, and enjoyable, and I would definitely recommend the dinner menu as well. Overall, the food was good, the drinks were outstanding, and I would definitely recommend checking this place out. My recommendation would be to visit for dinner if you're looking for a more relaxed dining experience and a great atmosphere.
