This is the shrimp fired rice. Do not order this .

Don't order the shrimp fried rice. It's fried rice with onion and teriyaki. No shrimp found. I asked the waiter and he literally pony out like 3-4 very tiny pieces. In other words 1 shrimp diced up.

I've visited this restaurant a few times and finally decided to share my thoughts. The ambiance is lovely, with a modern and inviting aesthetic. The service is just okay--nothing exceptional. They take your order, bring your food, and hand you the bill. There is occasionally a slight language barrier, but it hasn't been a major issue. Whenever my husband and I visit, the place is usually quiet, which makes for a very relaxing atmosphere. I've tried a variety of sushi rolls, but nothing compares to the Miami Heat roll it's absolutely delicious! Anytime I'm in the area, it's a must-have for me. My husband is allergic to shellfish, so he typically gets the "I Can't Believe It's Chicken" roll. It's nice knowing there's something on the menu he can enjoy. While I wish there were more chicken sushi options for him, he's so happy with that roll that it doesn't bother him. We also ordered a side of chicken fried rice, which was tasty, though I do wish the chicken was a bit more seasoned. Still, it was enjoyable. And of course, we can't leave without getting the Thai doughnuts--they're the perfect sweet treat to end the meal. Overall, I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area.

Horrible service. Is it because tip is included? Steak black and hard. Lots of hard fat. That amount is half of it wasn't few months ago. Miso soup good but cold. Expensive This is my third and last time here. What of a waste of my precious mo eu and time.

Man this food was soo delicious! I ordered the chicken habachi that also came with either a soup or salad. I chose the ginger salad and I upgraded my fried rice for chicken fried rice and yes it was worth it. My volcano roll was too yummy. The food came to me promptly and I honestly didn't have to wait long. My server was attentive the whole time. It wasn't too crowded and I had space for myself and my baby carriage that was with me. - They have takeout toor in case you don't want to see in. But it Soo yummy and fresh then. Recommend it if you're hankering for some yummy fried rice.

Came with my daughter and this place is very nice and cozy. The service was great. We had hibachi steak with rice and some sushi. Finished it with some donuts. It was all delicious! Definitely coming back

Had the chicken fried rice, vegetable spring rolls, and gyozas. The rice was some of the best I've had. It was full of flavor.

Came here today for my second visit and had another great experience…read more We started with the shrimp tempura appetizer. It came out piping hot and was so good with the soy sauce on the side. I loved that it wasn't overloaded with batter, you actually got a generous amount of shrimp. At a lot of places, it's mostly breading, but that definitely wasn't the case here. My boyfriend and I both ordered ramen, and honestly, it was probably the best ramen I've had so far. I got the Tonkotsu ramen and it was a 10/10. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the pork was cooked perfectly! Tender, soft, and not overly fatty. I added some sriracha and it took it to the next level. My boyfriend ordered the miso ramen and really enjoyed it as well. The only downside during this visit was the fruit tea. We ordered three different drinks and they all tasted a little off. I first got the lychee fruit tea at 25% sweetness, but it honestly tasted like gardenia perfume.....No joke, I couldn't get past the first sip at all. Then tried the passion fruit tea at 50% sweetness, which was better, but it still had a strange aftertaste. My boyfriend ordered the strawberry fruit tea, and it tasted watered down. What's odd is that the fruit teas were delicious the last time i came, so maybe something was just off today. That said, the service is always great. I like that you can order either through the touchscreen kiosk or directly with the cashier. The restaurant is always clean, the atmosphere is relaxing, and it's a great place to sit, enjoy your food, and hang out. Will definitely be back!

Tasty Ramen in Cutler Bay has quickly become a neighborhood favorite. Tucked neatly into the new Publix shopping center at the intersection of Old Cutler Road and Marlin Road, it's pretty easy to miss it if you're not inside the parking lot already. The restaurant inside is relatively small, but good enough for small groups (3-4 people). I've gone alone a bunch of times, and ordered for take-out twice as much and the quality of the ramen is consistently good. The Tasty Ramen is my favorite. Broth is flavor packed and the contrast of the chicken and pork belly is delicious. Noodles are made perfectly too. I've also ordered the edamame (yummy), Korean chicken wings (so good!), gyoza (basic, but good), Lychee Tea (really tasty) and Curry Chicken Donburi (2 stars). Wasn't a huge fan of the Donburi, but to be fair, it was my first time ever trying it, so I may give it another shot, just to be absolutely sure. Service is good. The employees in the back work hard to get the food out quick so it's hot and fresh every time.

They bring you 2 plates per person to your table but you are able to order again once the first round comes to the table, so it's a constant nonstop carousel of food. The servers are very knowlegable and let us know where to place the food and for how long on the cooktop. They do have pre cooked foods like spring rolls and fried chicken pieces, if you like that. The chicken Karaage is super good! The restaurant gets kinda loud because of all the grills cooking but that's a given. Hey foodies! This…read morereview is a little extra special to me because this place has been special to my husband and me for years... even though they have no idea! Gyu-Kaku is hands down one of our favorite restaurants. Anytime we find out we're in an area that has one, we always make it a priority to go. We've been eating here for about 14 years, and somehow it never gets old! If you've never been, it's a Japanese BBQ restaurant where you grill your own food right at your table, making it such a fun and interactive dining experience. One of the best parts? Their all-day Happy Hour on Sundays! You can choose between their all-you-can-eat menu with set pricing or order items individually. We always order à la carte because we love trying all our favorites. We started with the Fried Bacon Chips and Miso Wings, and baby... chef's kiss! For our sides, we ordered the Garlic Rice and Garlic Noodles. They are definitely shareable, and they prepare them for you. They are packed with flavor! For seafood, we went with the shrimp. Now for the meats... we ordered the New York Strip, Ribeye, Garlic Basil Chicken, and Teriyaki Chicken. Every single bite was worth it. Let's just say... I needed to be rolled out of there! And yes, I happily took leftovers home and enjoyed them again the next day. And if you enjoy a good cocktail with your meal, Gyu-Kaku definitely doesn't disappoint. Their drink menu has plenty of delicious options to pair with your BBQ. After 14 years of eating here, I can honestly say this place has never let us down. Great food, a fun atmosphere, and one of our favorite traditions whenever we're traveling. Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Atmosphere: 10/10 Experience: 10/10 If you've never tried Gyu-Kaku, add it to your list. Just make sure you come hungry... very hungry!

We ended up here on NYE for a quickie bite before heading to Fairchild's Night Garden. The vibe is kitschy and fun and the menu hits the sweet spot for Japonophiles with a curated assortment of faves from takoyaki to tonkotsu and even onigiri. On this night we wanted to keep it light so we started with the Japanese pickles which were a vibrant and crisp mix of veggies. Then a miso soup with fried rolled tofu sheets and lots of fresh green onions. We can never pass up his and hers unagi nigiri, and these were perfection: warm, sweet, and buttery on the tongue. Then it was time for makimono. Sushi in Japan tends to be simpler with a focus on expertly cut fresh fish, but at Umaimon they depart from the classics to play to the American palate with ingredients like cream cheese and mango. Now these are not the most creative offerings you'll find in the 305, but they do offer solid choices done well. He had the Twin Dragon and I couldn't pass on the Sugar Daddy.
