Wow. I don't even know where to begin. For those who care about Covid protocols, go somewhere else. While the tables in front are decently spread out, it's the congregating of waiting customers inside the front that is enough to make everyone uneasy. Multiple parties gathered near each other as if it were pre-Covid. Why you may ask? Well that's because the service is absolutely clueless on how to run a restaurant. Arelys (manager) was running around aimlessly trying to multitask: putting out what seemed to be many fires and was trying to seat people as well amongst other things. Once we finally sat, it took about 20 minutes before we had any server attempt to greet us. When we did get a server, we were thankful for him (Antonio) because he was the ONLY bright spot of the evening. He wasn't even supposed to be our server but he noticed we hadn't been helped. Took our order and brings out the food. This part is not his fault and he did everything properly but my food came out cold. My girlfriends food was ok she said but she is not one to confront. The fried rice is all I could eat as the shrimp reminded me of the cocktail shrimp you get out of the ice buffets and the vegetables were soggy and cold as well. Antonio was very apologetic and took care of it. He was amazing so if you do dare go, ask for him. Arelys on the other hand, very unprofessional and had an excuse for everything. The best excuse however was that "because it's Good Friday we are backed up". She then overheard the conversation between myself, Antonio, and my girlfriend and interjected rudely. So I let her have it and how upset I was over the whole experience. I highly recommend staying FAR AWAY from this place as it has no business being open. I usually only post good reviews and you can see my history. I had to leave this one as I was so disgusted by everything (other than Antonio, I can't stress how good he was) here. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Sushi Sake, and I feel the need to share this because I suspect my credit card information was compromised after ordering takeout from here. On the night of Friday, February 21st, I placed a takeout order at Sushi Sake after shopping for my brother's girlfriend's daughter's birthday. I had forgotten to add an additional order of chicken fried rice, so I called to make the adjustment. When I asked if I could pay when I picked up the order rather than over the phone, the person who took my call told me that it wasn't possible, and I was required to pay in advance. I provided my Capital One credit card number, ZIP code, and CVV to complete the transaction. The only two places I used my card that day were Burlington and Sushi Sake. Fast forward to Sunday, February 23rd, and I was notified by Capital One that there had been suspicious and fraudulent activity on my account. As a result, my card had to be closed and replaced. I called Sushi Sake to report this incident and inform them that I suspected my information had been compromised, but I was gaslighted. The person I spoke with did not listen to my concerns and instead, tried to dismiss them by saying it was impossible for this to happen due to their "process." Despite asking for a manager, no one ever spoke with me directly, and I was left feeling ignored and unheard. While I understand that fraudulent activity can happen anywhere, the lack of acknowledgment and accountability from Sushi Sake was very frustrating. I can't say for certain that my card information was compromised there, but I believe it's worth mentioning as a potential risk. I'm disappointed by both the fraudulent activity on my account and the poor customer service response from the establishment. Sushi Sake is easily one of the best sushi restaurants we have ever been to. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. The decor is modern and sleek, yet comfortable and approachable. But the real star of the show at Sushi Sake is the food. The sushi is simply divine, with an incredible variety of fresh fish and unique flavor combinations that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. It's only available on Fridays and Saturdays! If you live Tuna, It's worth it. Honestly everything we ate was absolutely delicious. But what ultimately sets Sushi Sake apart is the exceptional service. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to offer recommendations or answer any questions you may have. They go above and beyond to make sure that every customer feels welcomed and satisfied. Overall, I cannot recommend Sushi Sake highly enough. Whether you are a sushi aficionado or just looking for a great meal, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. We've been twice and every time its been a 10/10 experience. First, the food is great. We are avid sushi lovers (including our small children) and usually drive to our favorite spot from Kendall to Key Biscayne. I am so glad we now have a GOOD sushi place in our area because everything around us is a 6/10 or less. The steak noodles are amazing. The Miami Heat Roll, the Crunch Roll, the Angel Roll, the dumplings... everything is great. Now the most important thing, the alcohol. This is a 20/10. They have bartender that creates drinks of the day and I've had two of her creations and AMAZING. The service is also a 10/10. We've had the same server twice (Ceshya) and she's great and very knowledgeable. Whatever changes we had to the rolls, she would always make sure they could be done and before doing them, she would make sure we were ok with the up-charges rather than putting it on the bill and let us figure it our later. Those are small but thoughtful brownie points for us. Never unattended. I've been eating at sushi sake for about 5 years now and they've still implemented the same sushi sake vibe in this restaurant the food is amazing the Miami heat roll,only in dade roll or the angel roll which ever goes will make your tastebuds water the fried rice is also a must when coming here the steak fried rice i ate when i visited was cooked to perfection and was the perfect side for my hibachi shrimp the staff is very kind and provide great service my server Luisa offered great service and made me feel very comfortable almost like if i was eating at home lol The staff looks on point and never lacking bussers Kevin and Roger were also very nice they greeted my family and i and took care of our plates when we finished i give this place definitely 5stars read more

I'd like to start off by saying that I don't normally like to write reviews but decided this was worth my time, I've had my ups and downs with Sushi Sake in the past but somehow I always end up giving them a chance, last night I decided to give this location a try and I have to say I was not disappointed at all, the food was amazing the place looked great (even though we had to sit outside) and the service was incredible! After reading some reviews I have to say I was a little hesitant into coming. I gave it a shot and I have not yet regretted it! It was my second time here today and just as last time I had an amazing experience. Luisa took care of us tonight. She was so lovely and attentive. She made sure everything was to our liking. Our food took a little long but nothing crazy. (As expected since all the food is freshly made) But Luisa would drop by every so and so to give us updates on the food. I tried the hibachi scallops for the first time and they were awesome! My girlfriend had the sake noodles and I will definitely be ordering that next time. I have been coming to Sushi Sake Sunset since it's grand opening and let me just say.. this place is second to none! The staff are extremely knowledgeable, I would definitely ask for their recommendations and not to mention how kind and attentive they are!! Furthermore, their food was absolutely exquisite! The wahoo tataki melts in your mouth and I had never had such a delicious fried rice in my life. What really took the cake was when the bartender approached us to develop a drink just for me! I highly recommend this restaurant not only for the tasty food and drinks but also for the great customer service. My server, Cesysha, was very helpful with guiding me on my dinner selection ... 'Only in Dade' roll! It's a must try!! She knew the menu very well and since this was my first visit I appreciated her suggestions. She had much patience and was very kind. What a great surprise to find this gem in this area. First off, received a pleasant greeting when I arrived. The bar is beautifully set up and my lemon drop martini was made to perfection. My group decided to stay at the bar for a while. It was so nice to have full bar service here! When seated, our waiter, Roberto, was pleasant and efficient. He is honestly one of the best waiters I've encountered anywhere! The happy hour and regular menu gave us so many great options. Despite of many bad reviews about this place I still give it a try. I came to have dinner with friends and We were so lucky that Maybelle was our server. She was very polite and friendly, very attentive and always on top of our needs. She recommended us some sushi rolls and hot foods which was excellent. We got confused about some Japanese terms and She explained it well to us. Thanks for the quick lesson there The place is phenomenal, they have full bars you named it they have it! I am a consistent customer at this location. Luisa attended my table last night and let me put you on! After coming here so many times I have NEVER written a review. But after leaving last night I had to. Luisa was so enthusiastic and sweet. She seemed to really be loving what she was doing. She took excellent care of us and asked us how we were doing and more importantly if we liked our meal. She was great! I've been here a few times already. I came here for the soft opening and the grand opening. The grand opening was a great night. They closed off the plaza to have a small block party. They have a full liquor bar there. It did take a little bit of time to get a drink, but it was to be expected with a crowd that large. Luz, the bartender was great and very courteous. Luz has served me before and has so far provided a great experience. I have another Sushi Sake closer to my location. I went last week with some reservations since I didnt know what to expect due to the pandemic; but, to my surprise everything went perfect. They only have a few tables outside but it is even better since everything take less time and can give you a better service. My waitress, who is also the mixologist, was very attentive and nice. Ok, we have been to a few restaurants after COVID and have been seriously disappointed. We hadn't tried this Sushi Sake close to our house before and I have to say our experience was great! Fish couldn't have been fresher and you can watch the games here! I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. People who arrived 10 minutes after us were served their food before we were, which was frustrating. To make matters worse, the menu listed my plate at $18, but the bill showed $32. When I asked about the discrepancy, the explanation the server gave was vague and unsatisfactory. I went by last night around 8pm and had the best time and food here! The restaurant was a little packed but the service was amazing nonetheless! Our server Nicole (which was hilarious) recommended the habachi scallops and the tuna tataki which were both delicious! I've gone to sushi saki at other locations and this time the tuna tasted the best it's ever had, extremely fresh!
