I was introduced by friends and honestly I come here probably every 2 weeks, lol. The restaurant is clean, ambience is family friendly. It can get quite busy and when they're busy, the food takes a bit longer to come out (to be expected). AYCE is worth it if you can eat. I love that they have the sashimi appetizers because honestly, that's what I order the most! My three go-tos are the yuzu miso salmon, white tuna tataki, and yellowtail jalapeño. Cherry blossom roll, tiger roll, ahi tuna tower, and the rice paper roll are also a fave. Try the seared salmon sushi as well! Appetizers that we typically order as well are: Kyoto tofu (ask for extra sauce!), grilled green mussels, & calamari. Also, kids are $6ish if they're 3-6 (i think). My son is 3 and he loves the udon (you can ask for just the noodles and protein or whatever you want), avocado roll (he's literally the avocado kid), and edamame. Fried rice isn't too bad as well! Took my husband here last night for a birthday dinner and was so disappointed, there were bugs EVERYWHERE. Bugs in the entrance area, bugs in the dining room, bugs in the restroom, one can only assume bugs are in the kitchen and food prep areas. The prices went up to $30 for all you can eat but their product stayed the same, this cost increase could be from Covid-19, if coukd be that their costs went up and therefore it got passed onto the customers. Just be aware the cost is higher. I did the AYCE for my husband, and I ordered a no rice roll that immediately fell apart while I tried to eat it. It had cucumber around the outside and three pieces had the dark green outside part of the cucumber, it just wasn't a finished dish and looked sloppy. It tasted decent but a loose sloppy roll with bugs flying all over really grossed us out. We have been here probably 8 times and typically bring a larger group of people. Each time we go here they have new staff, this happened pre-COVID as well. It's typically not a good sign when the staff retention is so low, but we have never seen the same staff twice. The wait staff is typically pretty good here but I find it odd that they do not stick around. We order the warm food for our kids, they like the udon noodles, shrimp tempura, and edamame. The bugs are out of control and I'm not confident in their health practices, if the areas where the customers are is that gross than one can only assume the food is being cross contaminated with at least bugs if not more. Due to health issues with this place, unfortunately we will not be back. I know COVID is really hard on restaurants and I did not want to write this but I was so worried eating here and would not feel safe for my parents to eat here and because of that I felt it was important to update my review so no one gets sick. Truly this is a 1 star situation but giving two strictly because of COVID-19. With so many restaurants hurting this days I'll support the clean ones where I know it's safe to eat. read more

I went once for lunch and once for dinner and I think the lunch pricing is way better of a deal than the dinner/weekend/holiday pricing. But the dinner pricing is still fair for what is offered. Both the lunch and dinner menus had lots of appetizer, noodle, soup, and sushi options. Everything I ordered tasted delicious and fresh. Totally worth the $18.99 price tag! The dinner menu options had additional items like ribs, takoyaki, fruit, and ice cream, but I'm not sure if the additional $12 is worth eating dinner at Sushi Soho if you have the opportunity to eat lunch at the restaurant instead. After reserving via phone call, they were really accommodating to our large group of 16 people and combined tables for us to make it work. My favorites include salmon and yellowtail nigiri, Shaggy Dog roll, and Sansan roll, but the beauty of AYCE is you can explore as much as your stomach can handle. Overall, if you keep your expectations realistic for AYCE, Sushi Soho finds a way to balance a decent price and unlimited food without sacrificing too much quality. We came tonight, Saturday, we got there at 5 and just left. It's 7pm that's 2 hours! That is way to long to be at a restaurant! We got the all you can eat sushi and then 1 chicken and rice and then a noodle dish for the littles. The hot food came out first but not together. One dish with 5 mins between. The sushi took FOREVER!!!!! We would order 2-3 at a time and took over 10 mins. Than the time increased the next time 15 mins and than increased again as more tables came. I get it. It takes time but 2 hours for sushi is way to long. Oh! And then they add 18% gratuity for parties 5 plus. WE'RE A FAMILY OF 6! Stupid! The service wasn't worth 18%. The food is good. I was surprised of the quality of fish considering it was AYCE. The tuna, salmon, yellowtail, and mackerel were my favorite sushi. All of the slices were thick. The gyoza, shrimp tempura, and calamari were awesome. The seaweed salad was good, but really small. The Pad Thai appetizer was lacking in flavor and super oily. For specialty rolls, the shaggy dog roll and 911 roll were good, and I would order those again. The seating was spaced out for social distancing, and the wait staff was very attentive. I'm from Cali and the restaurant concept of AYCE sushi is booming here. Glad to see it made its way to Texas, especially since I visited my brother. Great fish to rice ratio when it comes to the nigiri pieces. Kitchen items are good. Sushi rolls came out lightning fast, our server was awesome, can't remember his name but he was quick and accurate with our orders. The sushi tasted really good and for the low price of $20, it's a no brainer to go to this spot. I honestly think they should raise their prices another $5 simply because it's expensive to get high quality seafood out in Texas. Property value in Bedford went up just by having this place there. My review is based on the great Tasting food they offer and attentive service they provided to my family and I. Although its AYCE, everything is made/cooked fresh when you order. The water/soda is bad but I think it may be through the water system in the area. If that's the case, the restaurant shouldn't be responsible so I won't take away a star for it. Sushi SoHo has spectacular food, a clean facility and an extensive menu. Unfortunately, the service is really quite poor. We've been in three times now and for a place with "Sushi" in the name, they really don't seem to know how to operate a sushi bar. If you order sushi rolls, expect to wait very long periods of time to receive your food. They don't stop and give you any update on your order, you just wait...and wait... Don't get me wrong, once your food arrives, it is wonderful. But the problem here is that it's an all you can eat, but you can only get enough if you spend hours or place your whole order when you first get there. I'm not sure if that's poor planning or by design, but it's consistent. We've given it a few chances and will probably try the sushi place on the other side of 183 next time. Prices have slightly increased but that includes your drink (non-alcoholic) and AYCE sashimi, which was limited to one order per customer before. The dinner menu is extensive and totally worth the price still. My friend and I enjoyed various appetizers along with an array of sushi and sashimi. I was able to get my baked salmon roll this time as it was on the dinner menu. It was tasty as expected. I enjoyed the rice paper roll as well which was filled with fresh fish, avocado, and cucumber. Light and refreshing. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the roast pork bun. It was hard and dry on the bottom. Best AYCE sushi in town. I've been to many AYCE sushi (not buffet style) and I'm amazed with the sushi at Soho. While the fish slices are thin, the roll/nigiri here are fantastic. The amount of rice is just enough, and they don't put too much vinegar on it (unlike Japan House). The service was kinda slow during peak hours, but that gave us the advantage of staying longer and enjoying more food. I'll definitely come back for dinner next time. read more

we had a great time at sushi soho! first of all, the building was very clean and felt upscale. since this was AYCE we did not have the highest expectations but the food was all around genuinely good. service was good. the portion sizes were very reasonable and we were able to try a ton of the menu. our highlights were the salmon sashimi and spicy green mussels which were both fresh and flavorful. the stir-fried udon was done very well as well. wouldn't recommend the shrimp tempura (as it wasn't very light and didn't seem like tempura???) or the sweet shrimp nigiri. overall we didn't have any sushi rolls that were our favorites, so if i were to go again i would focus on the appetizers, hibachi, and a la carte nigiri/sashimi. read more

We LOVE this place. It's our go-to for sushi. My personal favorite is the spicy salmon rolls. Everything is always so fresh. The Avocado in the California rolls is always a good size and bright green color - perfect. They have tasty soup and fantastic dumplings. I can't recommend them enough. Typically I order sashimi, varied rolls and calamari. There is a lot to choose from on the menu, but it is all amazing! The staff are usually very attentive and kind. I've only had one negative experience in the six times I've been here in which one waitress only came by if I waved her down. Other than this one time, I've had perfect service from them. In Dallas for work the week and I try to eat sushi at least once a week. I found Sushi Soho on Yelp and decided to give it a try. First impression, very clean with a modern feel due to their fancy lighting. I was seated quickly and my waitress was attentive which she was during the entire lunch. Now I need to tell you II'm a Sushi snob and have always told my kids if I ever opened a restaurant, it would be a Sushi Bar and I have the perfect name "Sushi Time" I even have created an elaborate marketing campaign but I digress. Ordered Miso Soup, Yellowtail Roll and Tuna Avocado Roll. The food was fresh and nicely plated. Two things stuck out to me the excellent service and the pop music playing in the background, personally I would enjoyed more traditional Japanese music. All you can eat for $26.99 for dinner! Honestly, the best way you can spend money for AYCE. It was our second time visiting this restaurant, and their food is just phenomenal. For appetizer: The seaweed salad is a must have for me any time I go to a sushi restaurant and they did not dissappoint. Their spicy green muscles were really delicious. We had to order another order because it was that good. The crab rangoon was little too cheesy for me, and I don't think I would order when I come back next time. For sashimi: Their sashimi is seriously amazing. I would highly recommend their salmon sashimi. It literally melts in your mouth. We ordered 6 orders for the two of us. Yellow tail was also really good. The jalepeno really has a pop in your mouth at the end, which I loved. The rainbow naruto was also truly delicous. I would definitely recommend it to any first timers. For sushi: Eel tastes just like any other Eel from a sushi restaurant. I am not sure how else to explain it, but it was like a regular Eel sushi. It was very satisfying!!! Red Snapper was also really good super soft and thick. Sweet shrimp was delicious!!!! It was my first time trying it, but was stickyish, gooey, not sure how to explain, but delicious!! I can definitely see why they limit them to 2 a person. Octopus was a little hard to chew, but it was also my first time having octopus sushi, so I didn't know what to expect. For rolls: Burning Man Roll and Rock N Roll were both delicious. Rock N Roll has a seaweed paper's crunchness along with the tuna'a soft taste. Burning Man had the crab, shirmp tempura, and avocado's amazing combination. We also ordered Salmon lover and it was very simple, clean and salmony(?). The cucumber definitely brought out the salmon taste. For dessert: We tried the matcha ice cream and red bean ice cream. Matcha was really delicious!! However, it had a really strong flavor, so I was unable to taste the red bean ice cream. But, according to my boyfriend, the red bean ice cream was really good too!! Yall should definitely try them out. Overall, this restaurant had a very great service and we were very satisfied with their food. The manager doesn't treat people like human beings. Don't go there. We called on 1/15 to ask if they would have lunch special on Monday,1/20, which is Martin Luther King day. The front desk said she was not sure and she needed to ask someone. She came back with a positive answer and we double checked with her if the price would be 14.99. Still a yes. After confirming multiple times with her, me and my husband decided to make our trip here on Monday and my husband even took a half day off from his clinic, just to enjoy the lunch special which we usually can't have on workdays. We finally arrived, so excited, yet being told there was no lunch special. I tried to ask in a nice and polite way about the wrong message we received from the front desk. However, an Asian woman who claimed to be the manager interrupted me and almost yelled at me, saying there's nothing she could do.
