Make sure you get the wings for appetizer! They're always perfectly sauced and crispy.

This place is very great! Clean! Service is always top tier, the ladies are kind and very attentive! Food never disappoints, I try to get different kinds and they are always sooo bomb! The only down would be the edamames are not the same like they used to be years ago! Please make them like in 2018-2019 please! Still one of my favorite spots for sushi!

    Fishbone in Salmon Roll
    Jose G.

Saturday, January 16 3:45pm There are fish bones in the food. We ordered a salmon roll and found many fishbones in it When we found the first one we decided to let it go but the second got stuck on my palate so better to let you know this can be dangerous (pictures attached). If you are going to cook fish you need to learn how to handle it. Pro:

    Scammed by a business?

This is not how you make a salmoncito roll they basically scammed me didn't even bake my roll I say they stole from me because I paid for something I didn't get

This sushi is amazing. Every time I come into the restaurant I'm greeted by the friendly staff and most importantly a clean establishment. I recommend you try the "Flamed Salmon" and "El Rey". Both these rolls have exceptional flavors and just the perfect amount of rice. Whether I'm dinning in or ordering takeout Sushi Sonora is always my go to. 10/10 recommend

I really paid for a half ass order of Guamuchilito ? Cheap on the aguacate don't you think? Never buying from here again. Rather go further away and get mine from señor sushi.

Was hesitant to try this out, but my other half insisted on it. He ordered a fried sushi with chicken, steak and shrimp in it and I had the teriyaki chicken dish. Mine was really tasty, but a little on the sweet side. The restaurant itself was nice. A little hole in the wall Hispanic place. They had the hobbit movie playing on the television, so that was fun to watch while we ate. We were greeted in Spanish when we walked in, but since I don't speak it, the waitress was happy to speak English for us. All in all, great little find. Next time I'll be a bit more adventurous and try some Mexican sushi.

This Mexican sushi place is small. What we ordered seem to look a little plane compared to other Mexican sushi places we've been to, but the flavors were good. I'd like to try a couple more rolls off the menu.

I was introduced by this place from my parents. And every since I tried there sushi it's been my #1 spot ever since. If you want some good Mexican style sushi THIS IS THE SPOT!!!

I was in Phoenix, AZ this past weekend visiting family and I've been wanting to try this place because friends and family rave about it all the time and I 10/10 recommend going to sushi Sonora. The rolls are a reasonable price and the service was spectacular. The roll I got was El Rey. Will go back for sure next time I'm in Phoenix.

    Absolutely vile.

Harumi has some great seafood flown in every day and I cant say enough about how great their Omakase is which I believe is only offered after 6pm. They also have a wide range of rolls that the kids love as well as a flaming one done table side which is fun to watch. They also have real wasabi for just two dollars more which is well worth it. Upon arrival, the place doesn't look like anything special. It's inside a strip mall, and looks mediocre. However, do not judge too soon. Once you get inside, everything is well laid out & it's very nice. It was busy when we went in on a Friday night, BUT we got seated quicker than estimated- which is always a win! I was not happy with where we were seated, as it was facing the wall in the small bar area. We are people watchers by nature, so it's always fun to be in a spot where we can look around the room effortlessly. However, it wasn't the end of the world and I certainly didn't want to wait any longer, the food looked wonderful & I was starving! I do not remember exactly which rolls we got, but... all of them were EXCELLENT!! Everything was undoubtedly fresh, and made with quality ingredients. I thought the black rice was really neat! I've never seen that before. The waitstaff were very friendly and accommodating. It took no time at all to get our orders out, which was impressive considering that the place was packed near capacity! As we left, all of the sushi pros behind the glass thanked us for coming in and wished us a great rest of our evening. I thought that was very kind. It's not very often that you find a whole line of people stopping what they are doing to wish you well on your way out of their establishment. All in all, 10/10 experience! I would recommend this place to anyone who loves Sushi!

Definitely a vibe for anime lovers! Food-wise, we started with the gyoza and they were delicious. Perfectly cooked and even better dipped in the ponzu sauce! We also tried the sushi flight, which was a great way to sample a few different flavors. Overall, I really enjoyed it, although the eel was probably my least favorite of the flight just personal preference. The crispy tuna rice was easily the star of the meal! Crispy, flavorful, and the textures worked so well together. I would 100% order that again. The ramen, however, was just okay for me. It wasn't bad or inedible, but the broth was lacking that rich, deep flavor I look for in a good bowl of ramen. A little more depth and seasoning would really take it to the next level. The service was honestly one of the highlights. Our waiter was super friendly, cool, and attentive without hovering, which I always appreciate. Overall, there were definitely more hits than misses. The great service, fun atmosphere, and crispy tuna rice are enough for me to give Full Moon Izakaya another try. Next time, I'll be exploring more of the menu!

We shifted gears and went next door to Sake Haus, and I'm so glad we did! Everything was spectacular! First of all--BEST edamame I've ever had! That tallow really adds a richness! And the gyoza had just the right amount of kick to them. We had both the hamachi crudo and the halibut crudo. They were both delicious, but the hamachi was the standout. Hamachi is usually a little too fishy for me, but this just melted in my mouth and left me wanting more. We also had one of the specials, the 808 roll. It was topped with poke, and we would not let them take the plate until we'd scooped up every little morsel! Cocktails and service were excellent as well. The service- pretty poor. I was sat in the bar at the back but I basically sat there for a good 5 minutes and nothing. I went back up front and asked to sit at the bar and it was still pretty inattentive, especially considering no one else was even seated in the front room at the time. Never got my water refilled, had to flag them down to put in more food, that sorta thing. The vibes- thought the bar was pretty lit and is prob pretty fun during HH. The food- overpriced for what you get and portion size while the fish and flavors being a smidge above average. I left still hungry after getting the gold omakase, bad and buri roll, and hamachi crudo. The hamachi was the best part of the meal but I'd still expect at least 5 pieces for the price. Anyways, this spot will hit the spot if you have a sushi craving. I can't vouch for the drinks but I assume it more than checks the box in that regard judging by the menu, selection, and vibe. But know that you're in for some trade offs imo.
