As locals in Orangecrest we usually only go to Ohana sushi in mission grove but we do live closer to here so we tried them out THREE times and 2 out of 3 times they have messed up our order. First time being that they gave us a shrimp roll when my husband is allergic. And we NEVER ordered anything shrimp in the first place. Second time was correct but still overpriced. This is our third time and they AGAIN gave my husband a shrimp roll and the manager Eric argued with me over the phone about his allergy and implied that customers allergies are not their problem and wouldn't even let me get a sentence in, he was extremely impatient talking over me and not "managing" the situation at all. We never minded paying the extra because it was closer to us but on top of that we have to deal with wrong orders, and rude service when we finally spoke up. Very disappointing. And I'll definitely be reaching out to either corporate or the owner because food allergies is nothing they should argue with a customer about. Smh. read more

Went in valentine's day this year and the food was very good. Portion sizes were fast for the price and the quality was pretty good. They gave out little roses to each table which was very sweet! The service was and good and the vibes were relaxed but still very nice place to eat! read more

I wish I would have taken more pictures, but every time we eat here- which is often- we devoured the sushi before photos are taken. Everything I have ordered is great. Highly recommend the Oyster shooter, the garlic edamame, the carne asada roll(don't know if it's on the menu or chief's special). The fish is FRESH. read more

Brian (owner at front was very friendly and seemed interested in my ramblings. Eric was my waiter and he did a great job especially juggling multiple tables, he was always available and good at keeping the food coming out. I had a total of 5 plates including 2 drinks. The sushi bar guys of course have their normal banter going on. The bus boy Aiden was newer but he was hustling and was engaging I could tell he wanted the job. Love this neighborhood sushi, been coming here for many years and we love the selections of sizzling plates to their rolls. Wanted to take more photos but we ate them too fast. Will not be returning here. Ordered takeout, as we usually eat in but this place is way over price for what you get. I'd rather get sushi at Albertsons than here at this point. I'm a avid sushi eater and know when something is off, my roll that had rice today was over sour because of the vinegar. I also ordered garlic edamame that's disgusting soggy with no taste. Sushi Station is #1 always for us! Service is amazing, we attend frequently so they know who we are. We are a big family and they are always accommodating. We usually call ahead to reserve one of the big tables. Service never fails! Food is always absolutely delicious. They can customize orders if asked. A few of our favorites are the Oysters, heart attacks, fried shrimp, fried rice (shrimp most of the time). I really enjoy the Two Timer, OJ, the albacore sashimi. We got there right when they opened at 5pm and we were seated. They do not have an all you can eat menu, but the rolls are good sized. I ordered the OJ and it's the first time I have had orange on a roll, it was really good. For a couple, with a couple of beers, and entre and a two rolls it was over $100. read more

Ordered take out due to the pandemic. Placed an order over the phone, the man that answered stated it would be 25 minutes and to call once I was outside. I arrived exactly 25 layer, called 1 no answer called a second time no answer. There was a greeting telling me to please call back . Finally a few minutes later someone answered. They told me someone would be outside soon. It took about 15 minutes and someone finally came out to deliver food to the car next to me and then bring me my bill to pay. Proceeded to wait another 10 minutes before my food was brought. The server that brought the food out and told me they were busy, only after I told her I had been waiting a long time. I understand that they were busy, I would have appreciated someone telling me that from the start so I wouldn't have waited to so long. .. i understand things are not easy right now When I got home my fried rice was cold. The salad that came with it didn't look good as my miso wasn't warm either. I live 2 minutes from Audi station my food should have been warm. read more

First time to try sushi station and it was great. Called and they were doing dine in with reservation. When we got there a little bit earlier than expected they were very accommodating. We had crazy dragon, salmon lovers, and spider roll. I love the salmon lovers because it is so refreshing. it has gobo and salmon inside with salmon on top. Crazy dragon is your typical dragon roll with eel and mango on top. They do not put alot of rice on their sushi which was great. I think it is the right proportion. The owner would not sit my family after we waited 30 minutes, to sit a big party that just walked in. Told my 70's year old parents not to come back. We have been a loyal customer for over 3 years now and have always ordered the exact same thing. All of a sudden our bill went up $40 for 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids) and on top of that that they also all of a sudden added gratuity. When we asked the owner about it he told us we didn't need to come back anymore. On top of that.... The quality of service was at the lowest we have ever seen. If I could give this place 0 stars I would do so based on the poor service. I recently visited Sushi Station with high hopes of enjoying a delicious sushi meal, but my experience was nothing short of disappointing and unpleasant. Not only was my order incorrect, but the owner's rude and demeaning behavior left me appalled and dissatisfied. Firstly, upon receiving my order, I realized that my order was wrong. On the phone it was repeated back to me correctly as I ordered and even in person. I've been working in the service industry as a waitress for over 5 years and half of those years at a sushi restaurant. Listening and taking orders is not new to me at all. I am pretty familiar at catching a wrong order when I hear it. Instead of a calamari tempura roll I received a California tempura. This mistake not only wasted my time but became very inconvenient. To make matters worse, when I approached the owner to address the issue, their attitude was far from professional or empathetic. Instead of apologizing for the mistake the owner was incredibly rude and said "I don't know what to tell you". Their tone was condescending, and they belittled me while suggesting I ordered the wrong roll. I can assure you I would never order a California Tempura roll, I wouldn't even eat it if it was free. The offer was to return the roll in exchange for the correct roll. No I don't want to drive back to the restaurant after settling in at home especially after receiving such passive aggressive customer service. Such behavior is simply unacceptable and reflects poorly on the establishment. It is disheartening to encounter such an unprofessional and disrespectful attitude from the owner, who should be the face of the establishment and responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction. He told me he's been there for 10+ years he knows what he's doing and kept implying that I'm wrong. I never once approached with an attitude. As a server I understand how difficult it can be dealing with customers why would try to make their job harder. I know mistakes happen but the owner's tone was beyond ill mannered. I strongly urge the management of Sushi Station to address these issues promptly. It is unfortunate that my visit to Sushi Station was marred by a wrong order and the unprofessional behavior of the owner. I cannot recommend this place to others until they demonstrate a commitment to rectifying these shortcomings and treating their customers with respect. I knew I should have asked to see the itemized receipt so I would have known there if the order was take correctly or not. read more
