The person who answered (assume it was the owner) abruptly and rudely said "yes we're open for dine in-AND WERE ADDING 18% gratuity to every bill." I didn't ask that question and had he eliminated that last part we would have dined there, and by the way he said. It was just going to be a table for 2 of us, but due to that attitude we found another sushi spot to dine in at, and they were friendly on the phone. Due to restrictions I don't believe it's fair, or good practice to gouge patrons who support businesses and take advantage of regular and potential customers. We all want to dine in, but we're not desperate to do so. No more business or referrals from us Sushi Station. You should appreciate your good customers and treat them kindly on the phone. If I could give this place 0 stars I would do so based on the poor service. I recently visited Sushi Station with high hopes of enjoying a delicious sushi meal, but my experience was nothing short of disappointing and unpleasant. Not only was my order incorrect, but the owner's rude and demeaning behavior left me appalled and dissatisfied. Firstly, upon receiving my order, I realized that my order was wrong. On the phone it was repeated back to me correctly as I ordered and even in person. I've been working in the service industry as a waitress for over 5 years and half of those years at a sushi restaurant. Listening and taking orders is not new to me at all. I am pretty familiar at catching a wrong order when I hear it. Instead of a calamari tempura roll I received a California tempura. This mistake not only wasted my time but became very inconvenient. To make matters worse, when I approached the owner to address the issue, their attitude was far from professional or empathetic. Instead of apologizing for the mistake the owner was incredibly rude and said "I don't know what to tell you". Their tone was condescending, and they belittled me while suggesting I ordered the wrong roll. I can assure you I would never order a California Tempura roll, I wouldn't even eat it if it was free. The offer was to return the roll in exchange for the correct roll. No I don't want to drive back to the restaurant after settling in at home especially after receiving such passive aggressive customer service. Such behavior is simply unacceptable and reflects poorly on the establishment. It is disheartening to encounter such an unprofessional and disrespectful attitude from the owner, who should be the face of the establishment and responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction. He told me he's been there for 10+ years he knows what he's doing and kept implying that I'm wrong. I never once approached with an attitude. As a server I understand how difficult it can be dealing with customers why would try to make their job harder. I know mistakes happen but the owner's tone was beyond ill mannered. I strongly urge the management of Sushi Station to address these issues promptly. It is unfortunate that my visit to Sushi Station was marred by a wrong order and the unprofessional behavior of the owner. I cannot recommend this place to others until they demonstrate a commitment to rectifying these shortcomings and treating their customers with respect. I don't recommend this business, the quality of fish wasn't good or fresh, the service was very unprofessional! No such respect for clients , specially the waiter Eric was SO rude and yelled at me in front of the customers, this person has no place working with other customers. Extremely rude and no manners. Servers were attention, friendly and got our entire order correctly, without delay. The rolls were delicious and didn't contain too much rice like other places. The complementary miso was a bit salty for our taste, but the salad was dressed in a very tasty sauce. Chicken katsu had the perfect amount of batter which made it light and crispy. Lobster roll had great firm bits of crawfish and the eel/mango roll was a great sweet/savory surprise. Since our Realtor took us here while house hunting trip, it's been a favorite of ours. Who knew that you could get fish this fresh in the InLAND Empire? After buying our house close to here, we never go long without dropping by. We generally order sashimi or rolls (during happy hours) here and they never disappoint. The fish is always fresh and flavorful, and they often have special rarer fish based on what's good on the market. There are some non-sushi options as well, which were actually also pretty solid. They also provide free miso soup with dinner, regardless of what you order. Most importantly, the chefs are friendly (including the owner) and knowledgeable. The owner personally goes to fish markets to see what the ocean has to offer and brings only the best to you. Since we always sit at the sushi bar, we've gotten to know a few of them as well and they definitely remember us when we come back. I thought the edamame was very good and cooked perfectly. The vegetable tempura was done well too. It was not too greasy. I got the crispy rice with spicy tuna. I have to say that the rice that they make here is quite good. The crispy rice with spicy tuna was pretty good, not the best I've had, but good. I also got a few orders of blue fin tuna sushi. The first couple batches were okay. The last batch that I got kind of tasted like it was their last two pieces and had a strong taste. My husband got a rainbow roll, salmon skin roll, and spider roll. He mentioned that these were just okay. He and I both felt that the quality of the sushi was at the level of a good all-you-can-eat place, but at a price point of a higher end sushi place. We could've eaten the same amount of sushi and same quality (if not, slightly better) for half the price at a place like Sushi Asahi in Corona. I do not think we will be returning. read more

If they won't take my order over the phone why would I even go in at this point. This was crazy cause they couldn't even say what we did but said there was notes as to why we couldn't eat there. Awesome joint! Started the evening with edamame, calamari, and complimentary miso soup. Ordered so many rolls around the table that we could barely identify all of them. The must-have classic rainbow roll was great, and I liked their red crunch roll more than I expected. Not a fan of the Philly roll because I don't like mouthfuls of cream cheese with my fish, but other members of the party enjoyed it. I love coming here with the family but the last 2 visits were not pleasant. The guy in the wheelchair at the front is rude and short. Not just with me but the other customers picking up orders too. I placed an order for pick up with him and was told the food would be ready in 35-40 min. I showed up 45 min later to pick up my food and still had to wait another 25 min. I get that they can be busy but the Guy in the wheelchair blamed me for showing up "too early".
