Prices are high. Service is slow and there are a few similar type restaurants with in 10 to 15 minutes that have better food worth the money. Surprised this place is still open honestly not to mention they don't have all you can eat sushi. read more

Heard about this place so thought I'd come in for lunch. Place was very nice, and was shortly seated. My Wife and I ordered the lunch special, a boston roll and a side of edamame. Our lunch specials were very delicious. The fish was very fresh. I usually order boston rolls anytime I eat sushi since I love salmon. The boston roll we ordered looked very delicious but wasn't. They topped the roll with salmon eggs and that's what killed it. The salmon eggs was too much and tasted like drinking old sea water. Our service was decent. It could have been better if our server had attended us more often but could understand as she was the only one working and it was getting busy....she's also forgot our edamame which I was disappointed at first but worked out perfectly since I was full from everything else we ate. I'm not sure why the sushi station has bad reviews. My experience has been nothing less than wonderful. Although it is run by young guys, their knowledge is they of seasoned sushi chefs. Their good is fresh, and they Re very creative. I highly recommend it read more

This is my go to place for sushi in Riverside. I found this place after going with a friend. Every time I go in I am met with a smile. Everyone is so nice and helpful. I always have a good experience here. Ryan is the only Caucasian sushi chef I know and he does a great job. this place always brings in fresh fish for the weekend including Black snapper which is my favorite. Of course it's more pricey then AYCE places but that what makes the quality so much better. read more

I'm stuffed on yummy sushi. We started off with the garlic edamame and miso soup. We ordered the baked spicy salmon roll, rainbow roll, Red Bull, and yellowtail delight. The non sushi eaters had the beef bowl and chicken udon. The sushi was delicious! I was told the beef bowl was okay. The udon looked yummy but didn't try any. I wish they had a larger variety on their kids menu. Overall we had a good experience. Our waitress was attentive and the guys working at the sushi bar seemed to be very engaging. So I love the food at sushi station but the service is ridiculous called 2 orders In to go 20 mins before going and picking it up get there the credit card machine is down and they are trying to fix mind u I let them know we have 3 babies in the car me and my friend was waiting for 20 mins still nothing is working let him know again I have babies in the car and I tell him u know we are going to have to just forget it it then he says he will give us 30 percent off of we go get cash I have a credit union and there are none close by and again I have a baby in the car so we say forget it so the 3 sushi rolls we ordered will go in the trash instead to ur loyal customers but he offered me a free drink no thank you so will never return read more

I spent $30 on 2 mediocre rolls. The Dragon Roll was missing a piece of eel meat on top and some pieces were badly burnt. The Las Vegas Roll was the worst I've ever had, it was seriously almost disgusting. That place is overhyped and overpriced. Never again. read more

I love coming to this place and feel it's the best sushi in Riverside... That's if you like fresh fish and don't mind paying a little extra for the in season cuts. I have tried everything from the rolls to the hot foods but I mainly come here to sit at the bar and do an Omakase (chefs choice). Ryan and Eric are my favorite to go to.. They always seem to show me a completely balanced meal.. And they always negotiate price based on what I want to pay before the meal starts. I am a die hard sushi fan. I have been to both Sushi Stations and I must say they were both HORRIBLE. Why? ALL their servers are college students so they only care for those that are young. My husband and I went there for dinner one night thinking that it would be better than the one on Blaine street but we were wrong. First we stepped in, and we waited 5 mins for our table and the restaurant was not even full! Then without even saying Hi or anything sat us down next to really loud high school students. When clearly there were other tables around. Our server took 5 mins to come take our drink order, and another 10 mins to take our order. Our waiter was always in the back or at the beverage place chit chatting. Finally our food came and the food came out wrong. I ordered a salmon roe sushi and I even pointed to the picture. But out came a salmon roll. We complained and guess what? The manager (I believe his name was Bryon or something) did not even apologize to us. We were outraged! We didn't even finish our food and asked for the check. What a horrible experience. I would never recommend this place to anyone. So how did the food taste? The salmon roll's salmon was had so much tendon in it that you had to spit it out. We ordered the katsu too, and Johnny was right, it was so thin and over cooked. Which lead to super dry meat. The miso soup we got was not even lukewarm, and the tofu in the soup was still FROZEN! I would drive a little bit further and go to Sushi Asahi just because they have service and food. At least I would know that they will never serve you frozen tofu in your soup! Don't waste your time and effort here. read more

I would give it a zero star if they had it. I thought the service was terrible. They didn't take my order until 20 mins in. Other people who came in after me got their food before i even ordered. They are all college students there who don't care about their job at all so don't expect anything when you arrive. Even the sushi chefs are college students. How do you expect good service from college students who don't even care about their jobs. The head chef thinks he knows it all and starts yelling at customers!! I thought customers were always right, but not at sushi station. I ordered a philly roll and the rice was soggy and the fish was cut up too small so when i picked it up the fish was falling all over the place. The miso soup was lukewarm because they leave their tofu and seaweed in the fridge and they just pour the soup base in it. They are so lazy that they can't even make miso soup like how it is supposed to be made! I don't know if it is just me, but when I walked into the restaurant, it smelled like old fried foods. I can't get rid of the smell and it just sticks on you the whole day . Not even McDonald smells like that!! New customers. Traveling home and stopped to try it. We had 1/2 order of oysters and really liked the way they were prepared. Really nice. A little spicy and a little tangy. Then we tried the Boston. I expected so much more due to yelp reviews. Definitely over rated, paid $75 for 3 rolls and an appetizer. Even the waitress said you wouldn't want to work here. The food was bland but looked pretty and my baked rolls were room temperature with the bottom rolls underneath it cold. Even my deep fried lobster was cold when it hit my table.
