Took over an hour for my pork katsu. This has been my families worst experience in our 10 years going here. They were leaving us ignored for most of the night and would just leave doors open when it is 20 degrees out. We will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

The plastic box felt sturdier than the typical flimsy sushi boxes you see at supermarkets, and I liked how they carefully packed the soy sauce, ginger, and wasabi on the side. It's all you can eat sushi in Colorado. High value. The restaurant itself is covered in Totoro art work, it's amazing I love it. There's so many different depictions of the Totoro film that this establishment is well deserving of the name. The ambiance is very casual, there's light conversations mixing amongst everyone to create a good white noise background, tables are decently spaced apart as well. This place is quite hectic at dinner time and yet the service they provide is fast and good. The wait staff is pleasant and attentive even with how busy they are. This is the first all you can eat establishment I've been to where the tuna nigiri tastes good and has no fishy stench at all. All the nigiri and special rolls we ordered were had decent ratios of fish to rice, and the fried rolls didn't have much breading on it thankfully. I did a pick up order and the restaurant looked clean and the service was friendly and fast as my order was ready when I got there my favorite was the seaweed salad - it was $8 which seems kinda high in price, but very tasty! I tried the I- 225 roll with tempura shrimp, cream cheese, and avocado in it and tuna and salmon on top - it was good but I was not blown away, so I will try something else next time. We did take out from this restaurant. We did the three special roll combo for $24. At first this seems like an incredible deal since each roll is $12-15 a piece but the rolls are skinny and short with this combo. However it was still a good value and very tasty! Was probably the equivalent of two normal sized special rolls. The quality was good and the person taking my order was very friendly! They also have all you can eat sushi for $30.99. We have eaten here several times and we normally leave very satisfied. The last time we ate here we left feeling confused and somewhat neglected. The Totoro we knew did not show up that night. What we enjoyed about Totoro is freshness of the seafood despite being an AYCE place. From their rolls to their nigiri, we didn't have a bad bite. Service was quick and attentive, despite the amount of food and the amount of rounds we ate. We especially loved how you can order any of their specialty rolls and they didn't charge extra for that. Our last time here was not that enjoyable. It seemed like there was something different with their food. The fish did not stick to the rice. We would pick up the nigiri and either parts of the rice would break off, or the fish would easily come off the rice. Maybe it was because there wasn't any wasabi between the fish and the rice, maybe the rice was made wrong. Either way, it was frustrating to eat. The service we received was much more frustrating than the food quality. Our lady server was not attentive at all. Almost seemed like she was avoiding our section. She didn't any of our orders completely correct, always missing an item or 2. I also witnessed one of the staff members blow his nose with a napkin, then proceed to touch more napkins and drink glasses.... That wasn't pleasing to see. read more

Found Sushi Totoro through DoorDash and have been very pleased. The fish is fresh and the rolls are good in size (typically 6-8 pieces especially on the specialty rolls). They have a lot of roll options from very basic fish and rice (Negihama is awesome) to tempura fried and multiple fish and sauces. The only item we haven't liked is the mushroom ball. It sounds delicious but the texture and flavor just wasn't to my wife or my liking. We have eaten take out twice and they do a fantastic job of packing the items and even include several wasabi, ginger, soy sauce, napkins, chopsticks and some candy with every order. read more

From the Yakisoba Noodles (my most common order and my favorite item from them), to the variations of sushi. They have one of the better deals for combinations, 1 sushi entree and 2 kitchen entrees. I love getting the chicken/beef teriyaki and picking a sushi roll at random. Their designs utilizing Totoro from the anime is pretty cute! So the owners recently changed and I have to say they have come back stronger than ever I loved especially their salmon truffle roll! Staff are nice and quick to their feet. They are super polite and always crazy busy on the weekends. Quality is pretty good given the cost and it has large space for "larger parties" They also do to go and all you can eat. Always a great time at Sushi Totoro! It really feels like a neighborhood community restaurant. My family typically orders the All You Can Eat because it is such a great deal. The service there is always great. What really impresses is is the manager. Whenever we go on weeknights, we always see the manager running around, helping his team out, and he looks like he is always having a great time! f you do all you can eat there is a fun little timer game and if you stop it at exactly 10 seconds, your meal is free.
