Such a great spot! I get a little leery of AYCE sushi since many spots will try and fill you up with rice or serve poor quality. I can say about everything eaten here was amazing. Its such a great selection of standard, specialty rolls and nigiri along with appetizers to choose from. You will definitely have a great experience. If you don't want AYCE, there are also lunch combo specials to choose from as well. Clean restaurant and attentive staff. What a great addition to the area! We went on a Friday night, the restaurant is fairly small but but busy. It was about a 40 minute wait to get a seat, so I would suggest going earlier rather than later. All you can eat sushi for less than $30 a person is quite the deal. It also comes with appetizers and an ice cream to choose from. For the price, it's definitely worth trying! read more

Tonight was my 1st visit w/my grandsons who are hitting that growth spurt age & always hungry. We all did the AYCE choice. Everyone we encountered was very pleasant. Our server Jack was quick refilling our water, removing dirty dishes & was an outstanding attentive server. I can't tell you everything we ate, cause it was so much. But I can tell you there was nothing we didn't love (well soft shell crab not so much). . The food is outstanding, fresh, lovely presentation and did I say Delicious! Very clean small neighborhood spot in a strip mall, easy to miss. We got there at 5 on a Sunday. By the time we were leaving it was filling up ( saw lots of pickup orders). Wonderful dinner! This is a new sushi restaurant that has just recently opened. It is located in the same plaza as Littman Lighting and Taco Bell. Tonight I opted for the "all you can eat" dinner menu, and everything I had was delicious! The place is nice and clean, and the staff is friendly and professional. They promptly answered any questions I had. My food was served in a short amount of time, and it was beautifully presented as you can see on my photos. The table next to me had a decorative mini bonsai tree on their plate. I had a crab Rangoon and some edamame from the appetizer section, then 3 specialty rolls, and an individual salmon and tuna nigiri. All the fish was fresh and tasty. The Rangoon was unique and excellent. The edamame had just the right amount of salt. My mango mochi ice cream was also good. They are in a competitive market and the construction on Roselle makes it a challenging time to get noticed, but I can tell you one thing. I'll be back with my family members. This is the best choice in the area at the time of this review for AYCE sushi. It is well deserving of 5 stars, however, it is not without it's issues. I give Sushi Tsuki high marks for great prices for AYCE and lunch specials with generous portions, as well as food quality and staff. I think the fish quality is a 4/5 by AYCE standards, menu variety 5/5, staff attentiveness 4/5, restaurant interior 4/5, value 5/5. Rice was properly seasoned. Here are the issues I observed. Note that this place is still 5 stars despite these small issues. -3 out of 4 crab rangoons had very little filling (still delicious) -staff missed one of my maki that was on the order sheet -some maki on AYCE menu are not described anywhere (so you don't know what you are going to get if you order those rolls) That's really it. Everything else contributed to the 5 stars. I don't give that rating often, but these guys deserve it. Well done! read more

We went here for Mother's Day for lunch. The place is small and a decent amount of seatings. Our server was friendly and attentive to our large party. Most of our group orders the All You Can Eat Sushi menu which had many choices. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try but everyone that got the sushi said it was good including all the hot and cold appetizers. I ordered the salmon hibachi which come with miso soup, salad, 2 hibachi shrimp, sautéed veggies and fried rice. It was pretty good. I would have to say I would rather have the sushi. We decided to order ala carte instead of the all you can eat AYCE menu to see what differences we could uncover. A single order of the seaweed salad was more than 2 orders of seaweed salad on the AYCE menu. Sadly the agesdashi tofu was simply battered and deep fried tofu with a side sauce that tasted like soy and rice vinegar. No ginger, no garnishment but a lot of fried tofu. Won't order that again. We ordered salmon, tuna and spicy scallop sashimi. The spicy scallop was nice with a great taste. The salmon tasted fishy to me, musty to my husband. The tuna had no flavor. All were a nice size but...given the taste nothing we'd order again. The rolls were good and at least a third bigger than the AYCE. We got the Fire Phoenix Roll, the Color Dragon Roll and the Spicy Crispy Tuna Roll. All were tasty and the combo gave a nice range of flavors. Sadly, the sake list is mediocre and they don't provide the ice holding sake carafes to keep the sake cold, so even a 180 ml bottle is room temperature before you finish it. Sadly we've had just enough discrepancies to make this our last visit. read more

I'd like to preface this with I'm an avid sushi fan and have worked in a sushi place for a little over the year so I am picky and look for many things when it comes to sushi. I went here on a Saturday afternoon with my boyfriend. There was no wait, and the service was great! Our server kept checking up on us and filling up our water. I really liked the decor of the place. The Fire phoenix roll and the Dragon roll was delicious! It was savory, and the flavors melted in my mouth. I loved the eel nigiri too, and I'm picky with my eel. I really liked the ginger that was served with the sushi. The taste wasn't so strong which i liked. The rest of the food was okay in my opinion. I've had better salmon and white tuna in other restaurants and ayce places that had a cheaper price. The spicy scallop roll wasn't spicy either. Overall, A+ for the service and ambiance of the place. The cooked rolls were delicious. I love nigiri and sashimi (sometimes I can eat 10-15 nigiri pieces at ayce), but the raw fish quality here was just not it for me. Had a great experience at this restaurant - delicious choices! I ordered the Philadelphia roll and the Rainbow roll with spicy Mayo on the side. Their unique spicy Mayo was so yummy. I had never seen a chicken roll on a menu before, so we ordered that to try. A solid 3.5. Found Sushi Tsuki after doing some research on Yelp. Based on the review, I was excited to check this place out. I went on Sunday around 5:30 PM. It was when it was like -9 degrees out. When my friend and I arrived, they said rolls would take about 30-35 minutes or so to be served. There's an extra space on the right side when you enter. It was blasting with heat when we walked in, which we were so grateful for, but the moment we sat, oh my, was it freezing! A big group was next to us, and many were wearing their jackets. We could not enjoy our meal because of the cold temperature inside. Everything aside, for the food, it's like every other all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant. For appetizers, I tried shrimp lollipops, soft-shell crab, fried oysters, and edamame. I also tried cucumber salad, sashimi salad, miso soup, and ika (squid) salad. For the nigiri, I tried a variety. For the signature rolls, I tried spicy 2 in 1, sunny roll, and mango tango roll (without cream cheese). The appetizers were decent. I liked the different salads and miso soup. Miso soup wasn't salty, and the tofu was soft and fresh. Other ayce in the city have better options, but for suburbs, it's solid. I wouldn't order the soft-shell crab. It was so tiny, and I was confused whether I was eating chicken nuggets or crabs. Nigiris were inconsistent. Some had a good fish-to-rice ratio, and others didn't. It would help if fish were cut thicker, but everything is sliced thin. The rolls had better fish/ingredients to rice ratio, but because of how cold it was inside, our rice got hard and cold fast. We're also not a big fan of cream cheese in our rolls, so we asked for no cream cheese for the mango tango roll, and they were accommodating. Desserts were good. Sad that we can only order one mochi per person. The service was slow, but that was expected. We paid $41/person after tip + ayce dinner + Sprite. Was the food worth it? Not really. This place is better than Esushi that's close to me, but would I go out of my way to go here again? Probably not. read more

The best sushi I have had. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The customer service was top notch. Eating sushi while being gluten free is hard, they made it so easy and were very accommodating. They even brought out complimentary edamame since I couldn't eat what they normally serve for dine-in. The ambiance was really great and clean, smelled amazing in there. I also noted they were using the brand "method" for cleaning which isn't so chemical smelling. I hate going to restaurants that smell like chemicals from cleaning and this place is perfect. Truly MAGNIFICENT experience. The best server I've had in my 18 years of existence. I would like to shout out the man in glasses who was extremely patient and very helpful when it came to ordering and refilling drinks. Not only was he kind but also he was efficient. He was very genuine and seemed like he really enjoyed serving people and helped when needed. Not to mention the delicious food we had today. It was so fresh and left us wanting more. On top of all of this, the place is very nice. The bathrooms are very clean and the scenery is very delightful to look at while you eat. I first tried Sushi Tsuki during their grand opening and found it good; not great but good enough that I thought I would try again after they had come into their normal operating rhythm. I tried for the second time today and was very disappointed. I ordered takeout, so I cannot speak to service, except that my order was completed in a timely manner and the staff was friendly when I came in. I was excited to dive into the food when I got home but found the quality lacking. There was general taste of old oil and a all the ingredients tasted past their prime - there was a general lack of freshness. We ordered Harumacki - this dish was ok but tasted of old oil. The fried gyoza were greasy, again had a flavor of old oil and the filling had no flavor or tasted old. The American Dream roll tasted quite off; old, not fresh, very little flavor. The spider roll was similar to the American Dream but with the addition of the old oil flavor. The fire dragon roll had a lack of flavor and finesse and the salmon tasted overcooked. The Philedelphia roll was the best of the rolls but was still lacking. Unfortunately, with great sushi places nearby, like Sushi Ya, Minami and Sake, Sushi Tsuki is every bit as expensive as the best of these but just really falls short on quality and flavor. There are definitely better choices nearby. read more

My experience here was AMAZING!!! I went around 6pm on a Saturday evening with my boyfriend and we got seated at a table super fast. The place did get a bit more busy later but the waiting time didn't seem unreasonable. The all you can eat sushi is 1000% worth it, and you get unlimited water free of charge even if you don't order a drink. Our favorite rolls were the Dragon Roll and Godzilla Roll, but DO NOT sleep on the appetizers!! I recommend the Yakitori and the Sesame Balls so so good. The mochi for dessert was delicious as well!! The overall ambiance is so lovely and fun. It definitely feels like an authentic family-run place and I loved it. The bathrooms also look amazing!! Super clean. The service was fantastic.
