    Spicy Tofu Mango Bowl

Ordered through door dash while on a trip in LA and it was so tasty! The tofu was surprisingly delicious and the sauces were flavorful. Can't say much about the service or ambiance but the food held up very well given we ordered for delivery!

3.5/5 I got delivery and based off all the stunning reviews, I expected more. Got the Classic Attitude Box. Came out to almost $35 dollars, not including delivery and delivery tip. Chicken Katsu was good, well seasoned and not dry. Somen Salad... I was expecting a salad to have vegetables in it but there were like maybe 7 leaves total. The noodles seem good and fresh and the sesame somen sauce is tasty, but I'm just sad there wasn't as much lettuce as the preview pictures showed. Musubis were also a lot smaller in real life than in pictures, so don't be fooled! Bulgogi in the musubi was cold, it was honestly not enjoyable. Salmon musubi was good but drenched in the spicy mayo sauce, which I think made it worse. The salmon also didn't seem entirely fresh, texture was a bit off. The best musubi was the bacon and spam one but even then I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to go get it. All in all, not worth what I paid.

Doesn't look like much on the outside, it's not a sit down and eat restaurant. It's quite literally a hole in the wall where you walk in just to pick up food. Thankfully the boxes are perfect to-go meals. The classic box is enough for two people and the portions on the fries were very generous. Everything tasted amazing! I wasn't a fan of the bacon sushibi. The texture wasn't great but the poke me sushibi and chicken Katsu was incredible and unique.

I ordered takeout from Sushi With Attitude to satiate my late night cravings and it did not disappoint! I got an attitude box with the Spam, Bulgogi, and California Roll Musubi's and everything was so flavorful and filling! I highly recommend the Bulgogi out of the three. This was shared between 3 people and everyone was super satisfied afterwards. The Somen Salad was refreshing and filling too and the sauce was sweet and slightly tangy. The box came with chicken that was flavorful, but a bit cold and it also wasn't as crispy as I wished it was.

Was visiting the area and ordered a box on DoorDash. NO REGRETS! The food was a little cold when it came but that didn't even stop it from tasting good. I don't think anything tasted bad 6 sushibis Chicken katsu Some my loves me salad Also it came with a cute little pan to pour soy sauce into Not to mention the sauces it came with Major win and totally worth the splurge

    Vegan sushi rolls!
    Ariel C.

Vegan sushi! This review is ONLY for their vegan items. First thing first, this is a ghost kitchen. Most people here order for delivery, but pick up is possible. There's no space for eating, so be aware. Pick up was also a tad confusing, if you're waiting longer than you think necessary, ask someone as the food may actually already be ready. I had five different rolls and they were all pretty good. The vegan cali roll was surprisingly good, great flavor and texture. Probably one of the top 3 vegan Cali rolls I've ever had. I also had the mango cucumber roll, the shiitake mushroom roll, the sweet gourd roll, and the dragon roll. I also tried their portabello musubi. None of the rolls were a let down, but they also weren't jaw droppingly spectacular. I will admit the portions of food given were generous, nothing like other vegan sushis I've had before. The sushi components were also plentiful. This sushi place (for its vegan rolls) is something really cool to try and to support a small business. I wouldn't mob out 30 miles for it, but would definitely get it if I'm in the area and craving something light.

Definitely the product of a ghost kitchen.... The mushroom Katsu is worth a try but the sushi needs to be improved :( Sushi rice was horribly dry and the edamame was very bland (no salt)

SWA started out as a popular food stand at the 626 night market but since COVID, they've pivoted to a pickup/delivery-only model out of a ghost kitchen in LA. While the method of access has changed, the food is as creative and flavorful as ever! "sushi-bis" (sushi + musubi) with fillings like poke, bulgogi, and bacon! A fun snack and were sized just right. Somen-y Love Me salad: really refreshing with the sesame dressing provided Chicken Katsu Skewers: my fave! Soo flavorful and crispy, I wish I had a whole plate! Overall everything was fun and flavorful and I'd love to get myself another bento for lunch or snack! PARKING: it's optimized for delivery services, but if you want to pick up, they recommend parking on the side street as it can be congested on the main street.

    Elaine N.

One of things I've missed the most since the pandemic has been eating good food at night markets, so I was thrilled to hear that Sushi With Attitude, which started as a food stand at the 626 Night Market back in 2015, has started delivery for their delicious sushibi (sushi/musubi) bento boxes! My bento box had the following: -Somen-y Love Me: Somen noodle lettuce salad (very light and refreshing!) -Clucking Best Skewers: Fried chicken katsu skewers -Poke Me Sushibi: Salmon Poke + Hot Cheetos on top (they included extra hot cheetos bits as well) - I loved this even though I thought I wouldn't (since I'm usually not a big fan of the hot cheeto on food trend). -Don't Go Bacon my Heart Sushibi: Chipotle Bacon + Avocados -Full of Bulgogi: Bulgogi beef + pickles Overall, I'd highly recommend ordering a bento box! Support your local small business during these difficult times.

Covid19 delivery review: Sushi with attitude is such a vibe. Like the name and the food makes so much sense!! The sushi was so bomb that I tasted attitude in it haha! Fried mushroom skewers were so flavorful I didn't expect that at all. Let's just say it was perfection from the presentation to the taste. Definitely not your typical box of sushi.

    Sarah S.

Sushi with Attitude opened with an amazing deal! $5 for their bento box which is usually $17.50. Check out James T's review to see all included, but it was a huge amount of food for a great price. And I have to say, I'd come back for the box at full price. The only annoying thing is there is no parking at Sushi with Attitude. It's an unmarked building just flooded with cars of people picking up food & going to surrounding places. The kitchen serves for a few different food spots so it's kinda hectic and confusing inside but I'm sure this is just temporary while they get rolling with things. I liked everything I had with my favorites being their unique rolls. Every single one was delicious but going from most favoritest :P to just plain favorite is: ~DON'T GO BACON MY HEART - Loved the spice in this, delicious ~YOU LOOK SPAMTASTIC - Spam & Egg perfection, nomz! ~FULL OF BULGOGI - Bulgogi is one of my favorite foods in the world! This had great texture to it with the crunch of the pickled veggies. ~POKE ME Fun little roll with hot cheetos and a great taste. I'll definitely be back! Enjoyed everything but those cute little rolls with fun twists are a definite game changer.

The Classic Attitude Box, $17.50 prior to tax

Sushi With Attitude just recently opened a few weekends ago. They were originally started at the 626 Night Market (Known previously as What Floats Your Boat) and just recently decided to open a physical place. However they are in a cloud kitchen, which is a commercial facility that only makes food for delivery. Please be sure to look at the photos that my fellow Yelp members have added to this Yelp page so that you know what the place looks like to pick up your order (since it is unmarked). This last weekend, I decided to take advantage of their $5 bento box special, normally sold for $17.50. Both my husband and I made an order on grub hub and drove out to LA (just a few miles away from K Town) to pick it up. We ended up ordering: The Classic Attitude Box, $5 prior to tax (but normally 17.50, prior to tax)- There was a limit of 2 per person, so we ended up purchasing a total of 4. Each box comes with 2 chicken skewers, 2 pieces each of poke me (salmon poke + hot cheetos), Don't Go Bacon My Heart (chipotle caramelized bacon + avocados), Full Of Bulgogi (marinated bulgogi beef + pickles) and a noodle lettuce salad. I would say that one box is definitely enough food for one person. I thought each of the sushibi (sushi musubi but smaller) were really good and each one had great flavor. I don't have a favorite since each one really brings a unique and tasty combination. I thought the chicken skewers were really oily, which I didn't really like (but the taste of the skewers were good though). But I did think it was unique that onions, bell peppers and mushrooms were also breaded and fried. And lastly, I liked the noodle salad since it was light and plain, but you are able to add the dressing (which is served on the side) on your own so you can control how much you want (all too often restaurants over dress salads). Clucking Best Skewer, $2.75 prior to tax- These are the same chicken skewers in The Classic Attitude Box. My husband didn't realize this and had added this to his order. Don't Go Bacon My Heart, $3.75 prior to tax- Same thing as the chicken skewers, this is included in The Classic Attitude Box. My husband ordered it without realizing. ------------------------------------- (Total= $29.22 after tax and grand opening special) When we arrived, our order was not ready and had to wait 20 minutes. Aside from that, I love the fun packaging of the bento box and the cute design of the box and logo. I also like the individual packaging of the other items my husband had ordered separately. I also liked that both of our to go orders came with a free pair of glasses (although they are kind of hard to see through because of the design) but definitely are cute and unique. Overall, we both liked our food and thought it was good experience. Too bad Sushi With Attitude is not closer to our home.

Ordered a few 'Classic Attitude Box' (normally priced at $17.50) from Sushi With Attitude, as part of their re-opening during the Covid pandemic! How much was it? $5 per box (max of 5)! You REALLY can't beat that! The process was finding an open pick-up slot time (I had to grab mine later in the evening around 8pm), get to the destination and fight for a place to park (it's a horrendous battle royale for space), and then a long wait for your order - but they gave me an apology chex-mix bag to quell my hunger (saved a star there)! Along with the set, they also had a cute promotional pair of sunglasses cleverly attached to the outside of the bag. Now let's dive into the "Classic Attitude Box" contents: - 6 SWA's Signature SushiBis that consist of: --- Two pieces of POKE ME (salmon poke + hot cheetos) --- DON'T GO BACON MY HEART (chipotle caramelized bacon + avocados) --- FULL OF BULGOGI (marinated bulgogi beef + pickles) --- Two CLUCKING BEST SKEWERS (crispy chicken katsu) --- A side of SOMENY LOVE ME (somen noodle lettuce salad) Favorite part of the box? Two Clucking Best Skewers (chicken katsu) with their special sauce! A close runner up from the sushi pieces were full of bulgogi and don't go bacon my heart - with the poke me close behind. But wait, why was one star removed?! A HAIR WAS FOUND IN THE BOX (photo for evidence)!! Didn't stop me from grubbing down but it definitely made me weary to check all the rest of the food and boxes. Overall - give it a try if you haven't already, get there early to find a safe parking spot, and socially distance/mask up when you're waiting for your food!

The restaurant offers outdoor seating overlooking the lovely green turf and provides tall heaters for cooler evenings. My husband made lunch reservations here and told me it was just a quick 10-15 minute walk from our hotel, The Ritz-Carlton. We crossed a few intersections to get there, and it was well worth the walk. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a warm and welcoming host. The ambiance is light and airy, featuring high ceilings, light-colored walls, and light wood furnishings. The overall aesthetic is clean, modern, and very inviting. We stopped in for a late lunch and ordered the "Eggcellent Lunch" prix fixe, which included the following: *Tuna Tataki Handroll ~ seared wild caught tuna, tomato & shallot salsa, rayu chili oil, ponzu, micro cilantro *Seaweed Salad ~ w/minced garlic. Served alongside the Tuna Tataki Handroll *Squid Ink Karaage ~ 2-day brined fried chicken thighs, squid ink, house pickles, grilled lime, black garlic ranch *Chicken Breast Skewer ~ char siu marinade, black sesame *Bacon Shishito Skewer ~ applewood smoked bacon *Chicken Meatball Skewer ~ sous vide egg yolk & tare dip Bottom line, everything had visual appeal and was packed with flavor! If we lived locally, we would definitely return for dinner. I have no doubt the rest of the menu would be just as tasty, and I can only imagine the restaurant coming alive in the evening with a lively crowd, happy diners, and a well-stocked bar.

Here's what we tried: KFC (Korean fried chicken)- very tasty and crispy. Chicken was moist and it came with a sweet/garlic dipping sauce. Plus a side of radish. This would have been great with a beer. Bulgogi quesadilla- we really enjoyed this app. It came with a dipping sauce that paired well with the sweetness of the bulgogi. Highly recommend this one! Toowoomba pasta- . This was our favorite dish. It's one of those dishes that you'll want to replicate at home. Beef & cheese- this dish was good, but the meat was overcooked. We were also hoping that the meat would be more tender. 7/10 Fries & sweet potato fries- came out a bit cold, so we had to send the fries back to be recooked.

Shout-out to Robert at Wokcano DTLA! Mannnn, I've been to…read morethis location plenty of times for happy hour, and I've never received this type of amazing service! It was nice and crowded, but Robert was still attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. His customer service was truly superb! My daughter and I were treated so well, and we really appreciated the hospitality. Robert definitely made our experience special. And did I mention the food tasted bomb! Thank you for the amazing service! We'll definitely be back!

FOOD: I saw the reviews and the hype online but it did not…read morematch the experience we had here at this location. The food definitely could have been better. We got the emperor's beef, fried rice, crispy chicken wings, spicy garlic shrimp and I forgot what type of noodles lol. We got them in a combo that comes with soup and a house salad. I picked the hot & sour soup and it was way too vinegary. It had great potential but just way too sour. The only thing that was good were the fried rice and emperor's beef. Everything else was either bland or had a weird funky taste (chicken wings). SERVICE: The food came out in a timely manner. We got seated right away despite it being dinner rush. I feel like that should have been the first red flag lol. Our server was sweet but just took a bit of time and kept forgetting the things we asked for and kept talking with her other coworkers. We ended up asking the other staff/servers for the things we needed like boxes/napkins and such. AMBIANCE: The lighting in the place was very nice and does set a vibe to the place. As for cleanliness, the tables and seats in the booths can definitely be cleaner. The smell of the place was whatever and can be a little kitchen-y maybe because we were seated close to the kitchen. During the time of our visit, it was not busy at all so it was not loud. Parking can definitely be tricky given that it is in DTLA. The outside area is not the greatest, again, it is DTLA lol. Honestly, I would absolutely not go back to this location. I will try wokcano again at a different area. This was not it at all. I do not recommend this location if this is your first time trying this "chain" restaurant. I've heard or seen online that the Burbank or other locations are so much better. Try at your own risk lol.

I can't believe it's been 12 years--and I'm so happy to say it was every bit as incredible as I remembered. My friend and I came for lunch. I ordered the vegetable pho, and she had the curry rice. Both dishes were absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, comforting, and beautifully prepared. Honestly, I wish we had more time because we had another appointment downtown. I would have loved to try more dishes and definitely dessert! Our server was wonderful--friendly, attentive, and incredibly professional. He checked on us at just the right moments without ever feeling intrusive. The service was as impressive as the food. The restaurant has such a warm, relaxing atmosphere. I especially loved the beautiful ceramic water cups with bird designs--they were so unique and charming. Even the water tasted wonderful! I'm thrilled that Au Lac is still thriving after all these years. If anything, the food tasted even better than I remembered. I certainly won't wait another 12 years before coming back. In fact, I was so impressed that I convinced my husband to come with me next Saturday for dinner! I've tried many vegan restaurants over the years, and Au Lac remains my absolute favorite. My favorite on the Westside is Variable Café, but if you're willing to drive a little farther, Au Lac is on another level. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. Whether you're vegan or not, this place is truly outstanding. Five stars without hesitation!

The location itself can be a little annoying because parking downtown is parking downtown, and the restroom situation isn't the most convenient, but the food makes it worth it for me. The ribeye is my favorite and what I keep coming back for. It's super tender, flavorful and the sauces they use make it different from just getting a regular steak plate somewhere else. I usually get it with the purple rice and egg, and I love the sides too, especially the potato salad and cucumber. The portions are also huge. I'm definitely not leaving hungry, and usually I have food left over. The owner has always been really kind whenever I've been there, which makes me want to support them even more. I've eaten here multiple times, brought other people and recommended it to so many people at this point. There are way too many restaurants in LA for me to repeatedly go back somewhere unless I really love it. This is one of them.
