combo 1: 2 medium spice sandos with waffle fries and house ranch

came around midnight on wednesday and unfortunately didn't really enjoy the sando. whole meal was pretty dry and the chicken was thin. the fries were ok. crispy but again pretty dry. had to use a lot of sauce. got the medium spice and didn't feel a tingle

This place is honestly one of my favorite chicken wings to get in Ktown. Plus, they're open until 2 AM so if you're hungry or at lock and Key, this is your place. I always get the fried wings in hot, sweet Korean sauce, and waffle fries. Usually, it's still hot when it gets to me if I'm ordering. The chicken is very flavorful and if you like spicy food the spice does hit, which is nice. It's nice to mix it in the sweet Korean sauce because it's sweet and spicy as well so it's just a nice addition. But the chicken is also just as good by itself. And who doesn't love waffle fries?! When I have gone into the store Great and the people were friendly. The ambience is very casual there.

Came on Thursday afternoon, no line or other customers. But service was quick and Workers were nice. We dined in and they gave us an extra sauce for free. Chicken Sandwich was piping hot and delicious. I got mild level spice, and thankfully was not spicy. The seasoned sauce paired well with the chicken.

The food is amazing. The fries and the spread. The chicken sandwich was perfect. Couldn't ask for better. Never thought I'd ever hear my girlfriend say, better than Dave's.

Alright, time to stop gatekeeping this... I'm going to be honest, I always go into hot chicken spots with low expectations because they feel overdone and not done very well.. but let me tell you, my expectations were blown out the water here! Their hot was not only heat, but such good flavor Def a top three for me in terms of hot chicken. Now, what also impressed me was that the other menu items didn't suffer in comparison. Everything we tried tasted like it was carefully crafted with flavor & uniqueness in mind. You can check below what all we ordered & I will vouch for everyone of the items Also, they have a parking lot in K-town, such a rare gem. Food 4/5: EVERYTHING IS REALLY GOOD EXCEPT FRIED CHICKEN WINGS. The chicken sandwich is INSANELY juicy... The kimchi fried rice - creative and delicious. Wings are not as juicy as you expect them to be Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5

Thought the cheesy fries were too sweet. Not sure what the sauce was, but it didn't work for me on Fries. I gravitate towards savory and salty flavors, not sweet. Nothing special about fries. For the price, honestly, McDonalds is better for me. Chicken wings had great flavor, came out hot. I got Extra hot, and it was too hot for me, but the flavor was there, Nashville style seasoning. However, got the Wings, and I thought they were going to be "full" wings. They were not. They were cut / buffalo style. This place is alright, but it's a bit pricey (as I suspect most places are now) but there are better options right here in K Town. I would have done 2-1/2 stars if it was possible.

Well to start off, there's a good amount of parking in this little plaza, but it's tight AF. The chicken joint is small with only three tables (8 chairs). Definitely not meant for groups. I've been here a couple of times and the first was not so lucky. Their fryer was broken yet they kept receiving to-go orders and even a few walk-ins. I patiently waited for about an hour just because I drove from Orange County and really wanted to try their chicken. Whoever was working that day was so apologetic about everything and seemed stressed. No worries understandable. I told him that I would be back another time. Homeboy even offered to give cash, but I ain't gon take money like that especially since it's not that big of a deal LOL. Fast forward to me and my partner being back. Still the same tight spaced parking and they seemed busy with all the walk-ins and to-go orders. But this time, their fryer was working! It was a different worker this time and he was also nice. I placed my order and waited probably about 20min for food to come out. Key thing is being patient here because they seemed to be short staffed. Looked like one guy in the back cooking and one in the front to take orders. Food was alright to be real. Ordered 2 sandos with fries, sloppy Cheetos fries, and Korean sweet popcorn chicken. The chicken wasn't as tender as I imagined it to be, hot cheetos were stale to the bite (tried to pair it with the cheese sauce as much as I can to not waste *sad face*), and Korean popcorn chicken was too sweet.

Was craving fried chicken, so tried Korean sweet chicken. The review was good, I was expecting more, unfortunately, it was too dry and too sweet. The plaza has good parking, the restaurant is small and casual.

Grab an extra tender with your combo!

Very good chicken! Definitely support the local chicken spot in Kyown! The chicken is juicy, hot, and spicy. All their combos come with fries. They have chicken sandos and tenders. You can even grab a combo with one of each. Choose your chicken heat levels from original (no spicy) up to Stark Hot. They also popcorn chicken. Options include Korean sweet, buffalo, and tangy bbq. Don't want basic fries? Then get them sloppy. Sloppy Bacon, Sloppy Cheeto, Sloppy Sugar Parmesan or grab waffle fries instead. They also have wings, Mac salad, and Cole slaw. It's good service but they charge for sauce, which is disappointing. However, overall it's very good and you should give it a try!

This was the place that made me fall in love with hot chicken and I'm back again. I can truthfully say that I have not had chicken as juicy as Stark's. I don't know what kind of magic they work in the kitchen but they keep the chicken so tender while still making the outside crispy. Now, it's not the crispiest I've had but it retains all the heat from the chili powder and it packs a flavor punch. I tried both the sandos and tenders and you can't go wrong with either. The sandos just use the tenders but it comes in a soft pillowy bun instead of toast. Their waffle fries also amazing. They coat it in some sort of batter and then fry it because it has an extra crisp unlike any other waffle fry that I've had. I also loved their wings from last time and although it was just as good this time, I feel like it may have gotten slightly smaller. I would still put these as some of the best wings I've had though. I also checked in on Yelp to get a side of their macaroni salad which is a refreshing palette cleanser. The parking lot was pretty packed since it's small and the same goes for the size of the restaurant. There's only a few tables because most people take it to go.

Get the Korean Sweet Pop Chicken -- juicy little bites with yummy rice cakes in between! Everything else was okay but I would come back time and time again for these tasty nuggets! Tip: If you check in on Yelp, they give you a free side of Mac! The tangy bbq was good for a honey bbq. The sloppy parm fries were drenched in nacho cheese and topped with so much more. I probably wouldn't order them again unless I was with a group because I could only have a few. Their ranch was great, as well as their comeback sauce. The workers were so nice and the inside was clean. Only a couple small tables for sitting. Parking was a bit tough during lunch hour.

    This was so good!!
    Risa Y.

My daughter and I love hot chicken. What makes Stark's chicken delicious is the thick and crunchy breading. We ordered the wings, strips and a burger. Their burger was so delicious with the right amount of sauce and coleslaw with pickles. The tenders were juicy, flavorful and crispy on the outside. We always go easy on the spice level and shy away from ordering the spiciest, but I think we are definitely ready to go for the Stark Hot next time! A very casual spot located in a strip mall parking was very easy. You order at the counter and the food comes out pretty quick!

Hello. Unfortunately our bacon is not. You can try our other options that are halal. Ask our cashier for the recommendation when you arrive. See you soon.

Is there any chicken gluten free?

    Is your meat halal?

    Yeah

How is the store operating during Covid? How is the chicken?

They do delivery via Yelp (fulfilled by GrubHub) and pickup. They also have a few outdoor dining tables in front of the restaurant. This place is bomb!!

How is this place operating during Covid?

From personal experience I've ordered through delivery. They offer delivery and takeout during this pandemic. And according to the businesses, also outdoor seating, so you can enjoy food outside, 6 feet away from everyone.

During a…read morelazy afternoon after visiting the Pantheon in Rome, we had our first experience with All'Antico after taking a 5 minute walk down the road. They actually had 2 separate locations flanking the pedestrian road, so there were two long lines snaking out in opposite directions. While we were waiting in line, we bumped into a couple from Spain who were also visiting. They gave my wife some personal recommendations, advising we get the blood orange soda with our sandwiches. After getting said sandwiches (the La Paradiso), we nibbled on them while walking to Sant'Ignazio of Loyola Church, which is that cathedral where there's a mirror directed up towards the murals on the ceiling and a huge selfie line. Hot damn were those sandwiches good. The thinly sliced mortadella paired perfectly with that buttery, green pistachio spread. The only challenge for my taste buds was the mild oral trauma I sustained from punching through the crispy bread; your gums started to feel it by the time you devoured your sandwich. But we liked it so much that when we later took the train to Florence, we sought All'Antico again at their original location. I thought that would be my last experience with All'Antico (unless, of course, I came back to Italy). So imagine my surprise when later that year I heard All'Antico had coincidentally opened a branch in Los Angeles, although rather awkwardly situated in Koreantown. Even though we live 30 minutes away, we made the drive immediately. There was no way this remote All'Antico location, thousands of miles from Italy, would live up to the experience I had in Rome earlier that year. But I was mistaken. Not only is the taste spot on, but the bread they serve is actually chewier and removed the gum calisthenics I suffered in Italy. And yes, they also have the blood orange soda as well. It's a little weird their location is in Koreatown, but not a big deal; we'll usually do a bingsu run afterward. Just like their locations in Italy, All'Antico is small but they do have a small collection of bar seats, some of which overlook the staff as they're making your sandwich. Be mentally prepared though to take it to go depending on how busy it is. Parking sucks too; there's street parking only, but if you come on Sunday you don't have to pay. Every so often now, we'll make the 30 minute drive just to relive that slice of Italy we experienced nearly 2 years ago. Thankfully, not a lot of people recognize how good this place is yet, as the lines aren't crazy long like they are in Italy. For all the other Yelpers in on it too, let's keep it our little secret for now.

There were no reservations available near 7:00, our preferred time, so we decided to try our luck walking in. We were pleased to find free lot parking and a light crowd, and got a table for four, no problem. It was a high top near the door, probably not the best table in the house, but it suited our purposes just fine. The restaurant was charming, cute and small with a European wine bar by way of Echo Park vibe. (The location is not what I tend to think of as Echo Park, but if you've been to the Clark Street, it's on that same stretch.) I guess it's a sandwich shop by day and an elegant bistro by night. It must be at least a little trendy because at one point a very made-up woman came in and recorded footage of the dining room on her phone (please tell me if you see me on TikTok). Service was great. We had a helpful, handsome waiter (another sign this is a trendy spot) who talked movies with us and attended to all our needs. We got a couple bottles of a French red blend, the Domaine La Grange Tiphaine Touraine "Ad Libitum," and enjoyed a fun, relaxing dinner. The menu was short, everything made to share, and we got eight of the twelve dishes (I'm counting the bread and accompaniments as one). Portions were on the small side, but no one left hungry, and the food was delicious. The bread was not free, but it was fantastic. Fresh Clark Street baguette, presumably from the bakery next door. We ordered two and added the cultured butter and chicken liver. The butter was rich, creamy, and yellow, and the liver might have been the best dish of the night. It was velvety and flavorful, finished with scallion, pickled onion, and some kind of jammy, vinegary sauce. The bluefin tuna crudo was firm and silky, served with blood orange, knob onion, and Fresno chile. The ricotta dumplings made a warm, rustic dish, soft and delicate in a dark broth with morel, English pea, shaved cacciocavallo cheese, and Madeira. We had a nice snap pea and avocado salad with tangerine, endive, and buttermilk, and two excellent vegetable dishes from the sidesy part of the menu. Fried broccolini came with green chile, honey, yogurt, and mint; grilled asparagus with pistachio, dukkah, and tahini. On the more substantial side, the rigatoni was quite good, doughy pasta with short rib, Bloomsdale spinach, Banyuls (a fortified wine), and pecorino. And the vermillion rock cod was rock solid, a beautifully cooked piece of fish served with cucumber, lime, pepita, and zhoug. We had a lovely time at this new restaurant and I'd be happy to go back, both for dinner and for the lunchtime sandwiches, which look outstanding. Henrietta is an elegant little place, well worth visiting for a leisurely night out.

The salad was way too overpriced for the portion size and there wasn't anything special about it. Maybe other than the snap peas were slightly charred? The beef tartare was okay. I think if the toast was not as thick, the flavor would be more balanced. The char on the toast was the main flavor. The ricotta dumplings were the best thing we ate that night, mostly because of the broth. It was equally light and full bodied, I could've had an entire bowl of the broth to myself! The ricotta dumplings were good but definitely needed the broth to complete it. Otherwise, it was just okay on its own. The dish comes with two dumplings. The half chicken was good. The charr on the chicken was perfect. The chicken breast was on the dry side though. The salad was more on the bitter side and it lingered. I liked that the bread was mixed in the salad and soaked up the chicken juice. I think there is room for improvement in terms of the food quality. The pricing definitely doesn't make sense. Half a chicken was only $5 more than the ricotta dumplings?? Idk. $21 for 5 endive leaves, snap peas, maybe a quarter of an avocado... the most overpriced item on the menu for sure.

This place does wood-fired pizzas on a fluffy, chewy sourdough crust that honestly hits different from your typical LA pizza spot. You order up at the window, and I appreciate how patient the workers were in answering our questions & taking our order. My friend and I got the Good Boy - house tomato sauce, pepperoni, fresh basil, and burrata finished with Mike's Hot Honey. The sweet and tangy kick from the hot honey against the creamy burrata is such a good combo! My friend and I surprisingly demolished the whole thing and were stuffed. One thing to note - it's takeout only, no seating, so most people eat in their car or take it to go. Parking-wise, there's a small lot in the plaza which is pretty compact (although I came on a Friday night and I didn't have much trouble). Street parking nearby is available and there are plenty of residential streets too if you run into any issues. Excited to come back to try their other pies!
