Sushi Wok is a new restaurant and it shows in the attentiveness the owner give to customers. The food was very good and came fast.

The shrimp-filled Gyoza was heavenly, the salmon bento was generous , flavorful, and so satisfying that we even took some home!! The beef was perfectly cooked and honestly, every bite made me smile. The service from the waitstress was top-notch friendly, attentive, and really made our experience enjoyable. The restaurant was crowded but the music in the background made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. A few things could be improved: the reception could be friendlier (a smile goes a long way!), sometimes when someone greets you with a frown, it makes it hard to get excited for the restaurantexperience. and we were seated right next to the kitchen, which got a little noisy. I think it would make the experience even better if tables weren't so close to the kitchen. All in all, Sakura is a nice place! Delicious food, great service, and a fun vibe. I'll definitely be coming back, hopefully with a better table next time!

I looked at the map to see what was near and I found this place. Great sushi for a great price. After that i introduced this place to my roommate and she also fell in love. She used to hate crab rangoons and now she loves them because of masa. Elite rangoons. We love this place and eat it almost everyday. There is always one man serving and he is great! So friendly and quick! Love the vibes of the place too, I love to feel more chill in a restaurant than i have to be fancy and this place is just the best chill vibes. I really love it here.

That was confusing until someone noticed we weren't getting take out and told us to sit. The QR code was on menu and table so i actually thought for 10 min that we didn't have an actual server and that was the only to order. Front and back door both are used. I am curious in the dead of winter if it's remotely warm inside. The regular sushi set was $22 and comes with soup or salad. A pretty good price . Would have liked a hot tea option. It hits all the points for what we tried . Takoyaki were breaded nice and a good single size. 3.5 for ambiance 4.5 for the sushi we tried, Would go again knowing it's causal or get takeout.

It's also a really good alternative if you're looking to eat something that doesn't constrict with your diet. I also got their dumplings which I believe are pan-fried however they were a little soft and mushy. Their service was on point and the general area wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be due to location. All in all I would give the food an 8/10 Service 8/10 Ambience 8/10 I would definitely come back and get another no name roll

I ordered takeout and went with the vegetable fried rice and miso soup. It took about 15 minutes for my order to be prepared, which is typical for this place. However, I was disappointed with the fried rice; it was dry and lacked flavor. In the past, I've ordered various sushi and poke dishes, which I highly recommend. I also noticed they recently added bento boxes to the menu, and I think that will be my choice the next time I stop in for a bite to eat.

They have seating in the lobby area and a few small tables inside the restaurant as well the actual restaurant is crowded, and they have lots of supplies and some items for sale right up front. You circle what you want on a piece of paper, pay up front, and then get your meal. The two men working were so nice and sweet. One of them had his kid there as well, which I found heartwarming. I ordered the sashimi special, 18 pieces of chefs choice sashimi, and a seaweed salad. The second I tried the seaweed salad I knew I had come to the right place! It was cool and refreshing with a great texture and salty flavor. The sashimi was beautiful and made with care. The fish was cold and fresh with distinct flavors. It was high quality and a good value. I wish I lived closer so I could come regularly!

The gentleman who runs this place should get an award from the city. During a recent visit, I witnessed the owner get cussed out by a fully grown adult who asked for the bathroom code without ordering anything. I was appalled at the level of indecency and lack of courtesy. Please note that it is the restaurant's policy (and likely the building's policy) that bathroom codes are only given to customers. Please, if you see behavior like this when you're at Sushi-Yama, please, please stand up against such ridiculous and childish behavior.

It was a super snowy night so it wasn't busy at all and we were seated right away. The menu is large and has regular items in addition to all you can eat, a lunch menu with specials, and they have hibachi tables on one side of the restaurant. Since we had plans after dinner I didn't want to do the all you can eat, but I would come back for it in the future. Nate and I ordered hot tea, two specialty rolls, one basic roll, and two orders of salmon sashimi. Everything came out at once on one big plate which was great. We ended up getting salmon sushi instead of sashimi. The rolls were a decent portion without being too huge to eat, and I did enjoy them. They kind of all tasted similar to me but the fish seemed fresh. The salmon sushi was not the best I've had though, but the prices are reasonable. Before tip our bill was about $50.
