The wasabi was some of (if not) the best that I've ever had. The soy and eel sauces were made in-house, and were excellent. Presumably, the rest of the sauces were house-made as well. Leo was a very good and friendly server. The atmosphere was very relaxed but could be suitable for something fancier. The one thing that hurts is the price; as fair as it is, I do wish that it were a smidgen less.

The Green dragon was okay. The Lobster Dance would have been a lot better without the overpowering sauce. The nigir were okay, but I prefer my nigiri to not have a lot sauce and all three I ordered were heavily covcered in their cloying (oyster based?) sauce. The Monkey Balls were meh, I've had way better here. The Seaweed Salad was excellent which I think was true last time. We ordered some sushi, and that didn't take long to come out. Our waiter collected our food order, and our chef brought his cart out to cook. The chef we had today was okay with the show, but what he cooked tasted great. The place is always clean, there's a nice coy pond separating the sushi room and the hibachi room. The bathrooms have always been clean, too. Next time we will be back for happy hour sushi.

I ordered the Sushi Lunch A with premium fish and chose the double salmon roll. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the portions were great for the price. The miso soup that comes with lunch isn't gluten-free, but they brought me a side salad with an amazing gluten-free dressing instead. I felt confident eating here, which is not something I say often. I didn't have any reaction afterward and would absolutely eat here again. One of the coolest surprises: they make their own wasabi in-house. They close at 3 and reopen for dinner, so it's a great low-key lunch spot if you time it right. My friend also mentioned she brings her young kids here often, and the woman manager or owner is especially kind and welcoming to them. The system is set up pretty easy to understand, I think it was by the amount of pieces on the plate. Overall the sushi options on the conveyor belt were okay, a lot of them had a similar flavor profile. I also ordered a salmon nigiri, but was gravely disappointed. The salmon didn't look that great. I went ahead and had a piece and immediately regretted it. The salmon was stringy and it didn't want break apart. I didn't have another bite or the second piece. The pistachio ice cream was a saving grace and a fortunate way to end our meal.
