My sister and I live around the corner from this place, and I've picked up deliveries a couple of times (I work for Doordash), so we figured we should try it. The restaurant is deceptively small - only a handful of tables, a sushi bar, and some additional semi-outdoor seating. We sat inside toward the back. Our waitress was very friendly and service was pretty prompt. We ordered edemame to start with (free with Yelp check-in), and it was at our table a few minutes later. We took advantage of happy hour (buy 2 rolls get one free) and got three rolls (Happy, Ninja, and I think Muy Caliente?). The Happy was great, I would just request lighter on the mayo-based sauce next time. Tried a piece of the muy caliente, it was good but I'm not a fan of spice. My sister thought it could be spicier. The ninja was also Good, maybe a little on the too-sweet side. Maybe I'll put some wasabi on there next time. Overall, it was a good experience. I've had better sushi, but this definitely wasn't the worst. Prices are great even without the happy hour deal. I would come in again. read more

I love sushi so I decided to give this place a try for lunch. Expecting picture looking quality, like on the walls, I was a bit disappointed to find that my rolls were falling apart and poorly shaped. The simple California roll was ok and I purchased another roll, with salmon, (forgot the name) so when I was half way finished with it I noticed that the fish was on the older side. needless to say I trashed it. Anticipating stomach problems, I was bracing myself for the worst. Luckily I had no issues. Not sure if I will go back but if I do it will not be anytime soon. I was thinking the fish there might not be fresh due to low product turnover, not sure. I give it 3 stars because it was decent in taste and the fact that I didnt have to have my stomach pumped. This is our favorite place to go for sushi, my 7 year old asks daily if we can go to sushimono. I've had quite a few of their rolls, there are some I don't care for but most I really like which is pretty typical of any restaurant. They are inexpensive, great food and a nice little spot to go. I'm giving this place 3 stars . I'm vegan & they don't have many vegan/ veggie options (I want to say 5) . So they lost one star for that . & they lost another for customer service. They are very abrupt when they talk. Also about half way through your meal they try to rush you out (even when it's not busy) . I like to catch up with old friends here and have a good lunch but it's annoying when they try to rush you . The veggie lover I think it's called with the fried tofu is absolutely DELICIOUS! The fish was fresh and we got our rolls very quickly. I think the only down side is that the restaurant is a bit small. I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends. Horrible service, the man at the sushi bar had to take our order because the waitress was off doing whatever, then she forgot my mom's order and sushi chef had to ask her about it, realizing it hadn't even been started! I've been here several times. The reason why I seem to come back is because of the fifty percent off rolls. A lot of my friends seem to talk about it,and since I haven't had it in a while, I thought I'd give it another shot. My co worker told me about the Mottzarella roll which sounded amazing. So I ordered it along with the Godzilla roll. The rolls came out looking vibrant and colorful. However, I can't say the same about the taste. It was a little bland tasting. I felt like it needed a lot of soy sauce and wasabi. The quality of the fish is mediocre. So, like my previous visits from before, the rolls have yet to impress me sadly. I have been here three times. Service is consistent. I like a variety of sushi. It's fresh and my top three is the mozzarella (it's baked) the winding dragon, and the Saba. The unagi is a honorable mention. One of the times there I was early for lunch but it's okay. You know why? There's a Starbucks next door and I just wasted some time there until they opened. I love sushimono! Our server tonight was Nomin and she is the absolute sweetest! She was so attentive to our table and was so welcoming and friendly. I got appetizers since I was so as hungry and she even asked if I would want it to come out at the same time as my boyfriend so I wouldn't be eating before him, I thought that was so thoughtful! Surprised at how good sushi was! Came here right after they opened on a Saturday, not crowded at all. We were seated right away, got a free order of gyroza to start (only three pieces). Our waitress was over to the side talking with another waitress mostly, but was still pretty attentive and refilled our drinks when needed. The rolls were half off so my boyfriend and I ordered two each. I got the Number 3 and Spicy Crispy- both on the smaller side but definitely good! My boyfriend got the Popcorn Lobster and a basic roll (he's not into trying new sushi rolls). Overall a pretty good experience! When I first started going here, I loved it. The gentlemen working the sushi bar was very kind and made our experience even better. Great food and prices. But recently I haven't had the best experiences. They started charging 50¢ for an extra side of spicy mayo (orange sauce) Not to big of a deal. Then I decided to go there at night and there was a 25 minute wait which I expected. Instead of waiting outside the front door we asked if we can sit in the outside eating area until there was room for us inside. We asked them to turn on the heaters outside and they told us no because we were waiting to eat inside. It was about 40 degrees. I was really disappointed with the customer service. We had a group and was going to spend a good amount of money, but I guess there heaters cost more to run than making us happy while we wait. read more

We come here more than a few times a week and love getting there tools my husband loves raw fish but I'm still getting use to the seaweed and smell of fish so I get the deep fried tools and no seaweed wrap they have another wrap that is pink and tasteless makes my rolls better!
