Dragon Roll - AWESOME Chicken Breast Rice Bowl - Some of the most sub-par teriyaki chicken I've ever had. I absolutely doused my bowl in their sauce and I'm still struggling to find any type of flavor going on.

Not sure about the low reviews because their chicken tastes amazing. This spot is legit, don't sleep on it.

The amount of " chicken noodle " for 16$ is crazy. I go to " I love teriyaki " & this plate comes with rice and it's WAY bigger. What's a disappointment!

Everything here is amazing! My go to is the chicken breast teriyaki bowl which is made to order, huge portions and served with an extra side of teriyaki sauce. The restaurant is small, so keep in mind there may not always be seating at peak hours.. but that's no surprise because of the delicious food. The customer service is excellent and seems to be family owned so you get that very loving vibe. Absolutely love this place!

I think the reviews on this place don't do it justice at all. The food was amazing and I felt it was reasonably priced. I would 10000% go there again.

Recently visited and now I have a local place to enjoy Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box and Mixed Tempura more often. The food is fresh and delicious! Easy to locate, order, and eat there or take out. Indoor seating is available but not spacious due to the size of the restaurant. While the seating is new, it is clean and functional. There is a large parking lot nearby so finding space is not hard. There are electric charging stations nearby.

Absolutely Delicious & Always Fresh! Citrus Heights Teriyaki To Go is hands down one of the best hidden gems in the area! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with the warm, inviting aroma of fresh-grilled meats and perfectly cooked rice. The portions are generous, the flavors are spot-on, and everything tastes like it's made with care. Their teriyaki chicken is juicy and tender with just the right amount of char, the beef is flavorful and perfectly seasoned, and the veggies are always fresh and crisp. The sauce is magic--sweet, savory, and addicting! Even the side salads are fresh and refreshing, balancing out the rich flavors of the meal. The staff here are friendly, quick, and genuinely care about their customers. Whether you're grabbing lunch on a busy day or treating yourself to dinner, your food is ready fast but never feels "fast food" in quality. If you're craving satisfying, fresh, and flavorful teriyaki at a fair price, this is the spot. I can't recommend Citrus Heights Teriyaki To Go enough--once you try it, you'll be hooked!

The food here is absolutely delicious and amazing! my boyfriend and i seriously cannot get enough! we both got the teriyaki rice bowls with chicken breast and gyoza and they were absolutely outstanding! so fresh, warm, and not to mention delicious!!! the service was not only fast but super friendly and helpful as well! and the restaurant had such a home vibe that you really felt like you could relax and enjoy your meal in. overall this place is so good and we will definitely be returning for more!!

If you live in Fair Oaks or Citrus Heights.. I'm sure you have been here or passed by.. If you have been here you know the chicken noodle bowls or the chicken rice bowls are loaded with veggies and more chicken you can eat..yum My wife and I went here and to our surprise beside the best Teriyaki bowls they now have delicious sushi rolls as well. The service was awesome and the ambiance was super clean.. The sushi rolls are on the low side on price we got two and another bonus one of them is half price after buying the first one..We got two teriyaki noodles bowls and two rolls .. the rolls one was good ol California roll ,but fried yum..The second was Cherry Blossom yum loaded with crab and topped with salmon yum yum..Go get some sushi and Teriyaki bowls yum yum..

We came in on a Tuesday night and there was still a crowd, but we were seated within about 15 minutes. It was quite lively with a few larger groups were we were seated, but you could still talk amongst your group and be heard. As for the food, it is still some of the best fish I've tasted. The prices have definitely gone up in the 10ish years I've been coming, so it's probably more a rare treat than an occasional visit. Everything was super fresh and came out quick enough. The serving size for some of the dishes have diminished, for example, the Musolino Pasta. Considering the base is upon noodles, I'm surprised they're putting less into that rather than their fish. The sushi rolls and sashimi dishes we picked still had a lot of fish pieces and very very fresh. Just that one big ding on a non-sushi based dish and of course the prices. Aside from that, I still love coming here and the Fair Oaks location is still near and dear to my heart.

Our waiterS were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable in their menu options. One of them was super friendly -- maybe even a bit cheeky! -- and he made us feel at home. Second, the ambiance was dinner date night worthy so long as you don't mind a few TVs. They didn't bother us nor was the volume obnoxiously loud. The bar area is fun and modern-looking. Third, ohmygoodness! The food was sooo delicious! The Cantonese-style Seabass paired quite lovely with Shrimp Fried Rice and Combination Veggies!!! The seabass was topped with sliced ginger and onions. It was super tasty! It reminded me of home cooked meals growing up. The shrimp in the fried rice was tender and lighted dusty with some type of flour that made it perfectly crisp. And the combination veggies was perfectly cooked and served in a light sauce! Thing is, I'm not a huge fan of "Asian Fusion" but this place seemed to hit all the boxes for us. Go give Folsom Palace a try! p.s. Each dish was beautifully presented and smelled amazing as they walked up... that I totally forgot to take pictures (lol).

The noodles were flavorful and well-seasoned, the shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the vegetables were fresh. Everything tasted great together. However, for $20, I expected a little more. There were only 4 shrimp in the box, which feels like too little for the price. If they had included at least 6-8 shrimp, it would have been much better. The food is delicious, but the value for the money could definitely be improved.

I would describe this as a place for introverts who love sushi. If you don't want to interact with a single human during your whole visit, Bento Revolving Sushi is for you! But I actually like having someone warmly greet us, welcome us in, seat us, and walk us through how things work at the shop. ESPECIALLY when I shared that it was our first time to the restaurant. Especially when the restaurant has a nontraditional method for ordering. We ordered a beer from the ~one~ human trying to fill roles of host, server, busser and cashier (which in and of itself is ridiculous and too much to ask of a single employee). Ten minutes later, I was able to catch the attention of that one staffer. They came over and it was at that point they explained that we needed to order everything using the computer pad at our table. (Cool! Would have been excellent to know that when we first arrived or even when we ordered our beer.) To be fair, the beer arrived along with apologies about the wait. Thanks. Then we got excited for all of the many offerings in their extensive menu. We start ordering via the pad and had to show some restraint to not get too much directly from the kitchen, which is in addition to whatever is moving around the revolving "belt" that snakes its way by the ~13 tables available for customer use in the restaurant (several other tables were stacked with supplies and seemed to just be used for storage). And then we waited. We watched roll after roll sent out of the kitchen to one table in particular on their fairly cool automated conveyor system. Unique. Fun even! But man, that table was getting all the love. I guess they finish their tickets one table at a time rather than sending out a few items to each table to get people enjoying food throughout their visits. OK. After another 20 minutes of waiting, we inquired about our order. At that point (seriously, nearly 40 minutes after walking in the front door), the single staff told us that we had to hit the "send order" button on the pad. (I know. Obvious enough but I missed it and no one took time to spend 30 seconds telling us how to use their system.) None of our order had even been received by the kitchen let alone started. At this point, I was ready to pay for our beer and leave, but the husband talked me down. So we waited even longer, and eventually our meal started arriving, plate by plate. The food was really quite tasty. The shrimp tempura was yummy, served piping hot and we liked the addition of the crunchy noodles underneath. The rolls were good, although one was torched but wasn't under the torched menu, which was less than ideal since we'd already ordered one torched roll. The hamachi nigiri was fresh. The offerings on the belt were not very appetizing, made worse by someone having put back on the belt an empty, dirty plate of one of the desserts, which circulated during most of our visit. Gross. Lastly, nearly every surface was sticky and/or dirty. The screen of the ordering pad was gross. Under our table was so sticky the soles of my shoes were sticking to the floor. Just ick. If all of the other issues were set aside, I would likely consider returning. But honestly, there are plenty of great sushi places that have great customer service and would never leave a table unchecked for 10-20 minutes at a time. While I feel for the single staffer who said, "I'm really busy" (trying to do all the things that more than one person should be doing), I'm just not into excuses. This place clearly does not prioritize customer service. I won't be back.
