Went on 07/30/21 and had mediocre food and service. We were sat down then patrons who came after us and we're seated after us were given menus and drink orders taken first. We brushed it off since it was Friday and busy and still gave the place a chance. We ordered tosticeviche and the photo has cueritos on there so when we received it we asked where they were. The server came back and said it doesn't come with it. Odd but okay. She gave us them on the side so I just disregarded it. We also ordered a $40 platter of aguachile-if you reference the photo on the menu it has 4 different types of aguachile. When we got it, it was all the same red aguachile and it was disappointing to say the least. Also $40 for basically one plate of aguachile spread out. Lastly our bill ended up being $273, nobody informed us we had to pay inside so by the time we were informed we just were in a rush to leave. Today I'm splitting the bill amongst my friends and noticed 5 things I did not order/receive. I called the restaurant and was informed to come by. When I got there the managers really treated me as if I was lying to get a refund. I ended up speaking to the manager and he gave me a refund in cash, I told him about the experience on Friday and showed him this photo of my food that did not match the photo and all he said was ok thanks. I'm going to hope this was a one-time incident but please check your receipts and be prepared for some of the food to not look as it's portrayed. read more

Brought me a plate order that I didnt order but instead of accepting it and taking it back she blamed it on the menu. That the menu was changed on them and they didn't put in the order correctly. Then she got an attitude with me. Mixed up the checks for our party also, and when corrected she snatched the receipt from one of my family members hand. If you have a large party at your establishment you should have a waitress who is trained to handle the orders and if not I recommend having 2 waitress's. Such a fun unique experience with great food and a fun atmosphere! It feels like you're in Mexico, with a live mariachi band performing on a random Wednesday evening and waiters/waitresses only speak Spanish. We got the 2 rolls that the waitress recommended and aguachiles, all of which were super flavorful and fresh! The sushi rolls had this really good chipotle sauce which I haven't had on sushi before, and since the rolls were deep fried it totally worked. Found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. It's a Mexican seafood restaurant with a Japanese twist. This is not your typical taqueria. Do not expect to find a burrito on the menu. This is a seafood restaurant, tons of seafood platters along with sushi rolls with a twist. The restaurant is very small, it reminds me of a small diner. People can sit at the counter where you can see them cook. The outdoor dining is about the same size as the inside of the restaurant. We tried the chorizon and divorciado sushi rolls. Both of these sushi rolls were fried. I believe most of their rolls are fried. Anything fried is tasty. You def can taste the chorizo in the chorizon roll. The divorciado roll was shrimp and asada but harder to tell what was inside since the asada was a sprinkling. We also had the Ceviche Mango which was very good. They bring out a bag of tostados to your table for your ceviche. You can't take the bag home if you didn't finish it. Makes me wonder what they do with the half eaten bag? If they take all the used tostada bags to refill it to bring back to tables, that's pretty unsanitary after everyone's grubby hands have been in the bag. I would have preferred if they brought out a plate of tostados and if you wanted more you could have asked for more like they bring out a bread of basket at restaurants. (*Update - So we went back and had their Ceviche Sierra and when they brought out the bag of tostadas, it was half filled, which meant that someone before us had the bag at their table) Overall, it was good, I would def go back and try other dishes. read more

We got the chipotle sushi. What a great blend of flavors, which included: cream cheese, unagi sauce, carne asada, and cucumbers. This roll filled me and my partner up!! Then we ordered the carne asada plate. It was a little bit bland, but none the less it was amazing. But Sinaloan-style sushi is its very own category of fusion food, combining flavors of Mexican cuisine with Japanese ingredients. My pick from the menu at the creatively named "Sushinaloa" was the Divorciado roll, which came with a filling of shrimp, carne asada, cream cheese, avocado, and cucumber rolled into a sheet of nori and short-grain rice. One half of the plate of sushi was dressed with a creamy green avocado sauce, and the other half with an orange sriracha mayo. All the pieces were also dressed with unagi sauce, imitation crab, and sesame, and the roll was served with soy sauce for dipping along with a garnish of shredded carrot, scallions, and a fried chili pepper. I also ordered the Esquite roll, which was plated to resemble a cob of corn! The roll had a filling of avocado and cream cheese and was topped with sour cream, crumbled cotija cheese, and corn. I don't think I've ever had a sushi roll with corn before, and the unique combination of flavors of this roll were reminiscent of Mexican street corn (elote)! Sinaloan sushi isn't the only thing that this restaurant does--the menu is full of more traditional seafood dishes as well, but come on.. for something unique and unusual, the sushi is the way to go! read more

I make micheladas at home and have ordered from other places, but this one has the right amount of ingredients to make it just right! My husband got another drink called barralito which has tequila, orange juice and squirt. It comes in 1 litter but it's soo worth the try and price for the tastefulness it has.
