For over 20 years I had gotten acrylics on my nails. I'm a terrible nail bitter. I have been following Susi's work for over 5 years and decided to take the plunge with her earlier this year. I could not be happier. Her attention to detail, her honesty about what is going to work best in order to get your nails to a healthy state is above par! She is excellent in her craft, has a passion and love for it, and it's reflective in her work. Susi will always make you feel welcomed and will provide a safe space atmosphere. I was on the road to beautiful long nails and did it again. Started picking and biting but she reminded me, "It's ok, we can start over". I 1000% recommend her services! Her salon is clean, she never uses the same tools on different clients, and will ask if you want to take your nail file and buffer home. After going back to my previous salon I decided to update my review. Tammy was a great tech and very knowledgeable but I realized that my nails weren't healthy and didn't grow like I'm used to, and the polish didn't last, plus the hassle of booking appointments was stressful and confusing. The fact that they are only open on the weekdays was a hassle since I work a during the day. Plus I paid over $100 just for Bio gel and now I pay $115 for Bio Gel, a regular pedi (spa) plus eyebrow waxing in the valley. It's a longer drive but my nails are healthy and growing again and they last for a month, and I still get nail art/designs for less. At Susi's you're forced to book a 1 1/2 hour appointment for just nails with simple mail art and I get 3 services now in just 2 hours. read more

Came for a mani pedi regular polish set. I also had a not so great gel pedi from another place that had to be taken off. They do reservations only but were able to fit me due to a cancellation. I loved everything about my service from Tammy. She is incredibly detailed and takes her time to ensure your nails are even and the polish is perfectly applied. I also liked the vibe of the salon. Best nail salon I've been to in a long long time my nails stayed intact for 4 weeks!

Short version: Amazing salon, great quality work, superb nail art, and your natural nails are going to be happy! Long version: I've been doing my own manicures since I was a teen - it's a big family thing - and have done pretty much everything short of doing my own acrylics. This means that I don't trust just anybody with my nails, and will not be returning if I'm not happy with the service, which makes me a potentially difficult customer. :) It took me a while to find a salon that I returned to regularly back in Prague (Czechia, Europe), and it was one that worked exclusively with BioSculpture. I loved the philosophy of the brand, the fact that I could just take the gel manicure off and my natural nails would be healthy. The salon was owned by two sisters who built it up from scratch and I really liked how thorough they always were with the nail prep as well as the manicure itself. Fast forward to last year and my relocation to SoCal. My Prague salon told me to look for BioSculpture certified people, but I found that many may have training, but only use this brand as a base layer, or not really work with it at all. Then I found Susi's instagram account - her philosophy is exactly what I loved about my former salon, including BioSculpture exclusivity, and I loved her designs as well. The one issue was that she was about 1.5h drive from where I live, and that's with good traffic, and her books were closed at that point. So I tried a more local place that offered "bio" manicure, only to have to wait for 3 months to get my nails grow out from a very non-happy experience. I thought I'd be back to just taking care of my nails myself. But when Susi opened her new salon within a more manageable driving distance I was able to book my first appointment. And I am hooked. Susi takes great care of every detail - from the salon itself, which is very chic, clean and even has fresh flowers to get you in the right spa mood, to the nail prep which is gentle yet thorough, not cuticle left unattended. Nail shapes could not be done with greater precision. Her design ideas AND execution are absolutely stunning! She makes it look easy, but don't be fooled, she is just that good at it. My first set lasted for nearly 6 weeks with no casualties and no lifting, and would probably last for 3 more except for the growing out. I'm very happy with my second set, and will be coming back for more! read more

Susi is excellent at her craft. I couldn't find anyone even close to the quality level of her work when she had to close shop during COVID shutdown. It was a really depressing time and I even sent her a couple (hysterical) texts after especially bad manicures telling her how horrible the nail techs I've met have been. I was a mess, but that's over and done with now and my nails are back to their former glory. Susi's shop is clean and her tools are sterile. She has reserved parking right in front of her store, so no need to circle around looking for street parking or pay lot rates. She takes her time with you and absolutely does not jam pack her schedule. She uses BioSculpture gel, which is the best product out there. Booking an appointment online is incredibly easy, I can do it anytime day or night and I don't have to worry about texting someone at the right time of day, etc. And Tammy is here now and does wonderful pedicures, so now I have zero problems color matching! read more
