This is solely for the tech who did my nails. I've gone for pedicures and they were good. I came in with my natural nails to remove the acrylic overlay. The lady sits me down and starts ripping my nails off. Not filing or soaking but ripping them off. This is how my nails were. I complained and she basically made me feel as though I was the problem. When I communicated it's my natural nails with acrylic overlay and I just want to remove the acrylic. She brings out nail clippers and I reiterate just soak off. My poor ring finger lost all its growth and my nails look so bad. I could've done this job. The other workers stayed silent until I asked to speak to the salon owner and showed them the work she did. They apologized and said they would make it right. Well there's no way to make my nails look grow back at this instance. I left and refused them touching my nails. Please be weary of the lady who sits in the second to last nail station. You may have this work done on your nails

This guy place is so amazing. I've been getting my nails done here for over 20 years. The owner Tom is so nice and friendly. His stuff is too. They know all their customers by first name. They're also very accommodating in last minute walk-ins. You won't be disappointed.

Made an appointment with Tom for Gel X nails. He did not disappoint!! He matched the photo inspo I had. He was very precise and careful with cleaning my nails. He did all cuticle work and did my nails perfectly. Will be back soon!!

I called and asked if they could see me at noon (30 mins) and they said yes, however when I got there I had to wait 15 minutes until my service began as every nail tech was busy. Just something to keep in mind in case you're in a rush. The place itself is clean and the ladies work very quickly. Loved my pedicure! My toes look amazing and if I do come back, it will only be for a pedicure because I did not love my manicure. Not knowing any better I agreed to do a fill--which, in hindsight, should've been a dead giveaway since I've never heard of a Gel X fill. The pictures speak for themselves lol. The fill was $55 according to my nail tech, and had I known they'd look this deformed, I would've paid extra for a new set, as those seem to be fine based on other customers' pictures. Great place otherwise! Didn't see any reviews for the service I received so felt it necessary to share. read more

Staff is rude and disrespectful. They don't honor appointments or respect time. I'm going to go a step further and say if you're Black, take your dollar somewhere else. Ultimately, ANY specific or special requests here are viewed as problematic and will get you labeled and talked about -- possibly even yelled at. Yes, yelled at. I came in at 4 on my last visit and was asked to come back at 5 for a fill and pedicure. By 6:15, dyeing my very long pedicure process-- when I asked why no one has started my nails, I was yelled at then ignored while I watched them take new walk ins and pretend they had "appointments". By virtue of the fact I was asked to come back at 5, didn't I have one as well? Another patron noticed this and also mentioned it had happened to her there. The manager ignored it and pretended not to notice. The whole vibe of the staff is that they are basically doing you a favor. Please. Nothing could be further from the truth. The work is barely acceptable -- but it's close to home. I finally directly asked the manager why I was forced to wait and she fed me something about being short staffed. However, I later watched yet another patron get both hands and feet serviced at once, so I have no idea. I will say there is one man there who does an okay job, but to my sadness he was absent that day. Thus, I had to settle for whomever I got. She was nice enough, but her talent was limited -- to put it nicely. My fill looks worse than my original new growth. She didn't even remove the lifting product first. All bad. I'll need to remove these by the end of the week to protect the integrity of my nails. Oh and remember I arrived at 4 -- I left at 7:50. So much for an early drop in. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

Was able to accommodate me at the last minute; clean establishment; comparable prices; free parking- lot is shared with a few other businesses; nice comfortable massage chairs; work was thorough although done quickly- very matter of fact not overly friendly but good work. Paid for deluxe to have extra massage time but could've passed cause it was a bit soft and lackluster. Accepts cards but prefers tips in cash. read more

Been here a few times since I've been temporarily staying in the area and it fit the bill for a fine, cheap, no frills place that takes walk-ins. However, after my visit today I won't be returning. This time I brought my partner and we both got manicures and pedicures. All 4 of the techs working on us seemed rushed, distracted, and in some cases quite rude. We had to ask (in some cases twice) for basic things like top coat after color polish was applied, or a hot towel to wipe off the excess lotion after the "massage". But what really sealed the deal was the fact that at the beginning, they showed us a printout of the different mani/pedi packages. We both chose the $55 package C, which they talked us out of saying that we should just get the deluxe pedi and "regular" mani. We agreed thinking we'd be saving money since my partner didn't need polish and I didn't want the scrub that came with the deluxe mani. Well, we ended up paying $65 for me and $68 for my partner ($5 extra for "buff and shine" instead of polish which is a joke in itself). So they got an extra $23 out of us with their dishonest trickery, hope it was worth it because we'll never be back. read more

Had a fantastic deluxe pedicure with Eva today. She did an amazing job and was able to expertly remove my recurring ingrown toenails. Her attention to detail was a huge plus. The salon is clean, the prices are fair, and the massage chairs are a wonderful bonus (and they actually work!). I will definitely return when I'm in the area. Highly recommend! read more

I have been going here for years with my daughter's But the couple of times I've gone. Tom wasn't there and the lady started to take advantage. They did a horrible service. They did the opposite of what I wanted and they act like they don't understand you. I always give a good tip every time I go. I will pay for good service no matter how much it is. But they are getting lazy and they do half ass job now. They charge me more for a simple manicure and pedicure. Almost the same price as fake nails. And the gel they talk you into it abs say $5 more but they lie it's $30 for the hands and $30 for the feet on top of the 70 for the manicure and pedicure they say it spa. Look I will pay but do a good job and don't take advantage of your loyalty customers. They lost me as a customer I will not go back. Tom you need to check the lady's when you aren't there. Service is bad. read more

I have come here on and off in the 10 years I've lived in the area and received the worst pedicure today. After being given a price sheet with detailed packages, I opted for package A (which also happened to be the cheapest and which was still more expensive than the combination of services as listed in the a la carte menu. I pointed this out to the nail technician who then proceeded to give me the most half assed pedicure of my life. Without any time to soak my feet she applied callous treatment for a few seconds (didn't even apply plastic on one foot) and then violently scrubbed off the treatment with a pumice stone almost immediately, scratching the bottom of one foot. She moved on to the scrub and again didn't bother to scrub the heels or bottoms of my feet before rinsing it off. While my feet were still well she squirted lotion on, and started to rub it into my skin along with the remaining sea salt. At this point I stopped her and asked her to please take the time to dry my feet. She was not apologetic at all and proceeded to treat me rudely. She polished my toes without even cleaning dirt from underneath the nails. There was no massage whatsoever (package stated 5 min massage and the client next to me who arrived later than me was getting a massage). I paid the cost of service because it is not my style to walk out on a service that was technically rendered, albeit terribly, but I did not tip at all. (I normally always tip 20% on all beauty services but again never experienced someone treating me in this manner). I will not be returning and caution anyone from going here. read more

I mean they're usually busy, but when I got a pedicure there, the man who did the pedicure painted my toes but didn't actually clean them. I'm use to the pedicure cleaning the nail, clipping, polishing, basically making them clean and trimmed prior to paint. I didn't get that. I had to go home and clean them myself. I'm not sure if it was just the guy who I got, or the way they do pedicures in itself. But left me sad and not willing to go back. read more

The nails for the gel manicure are very thing and poor quality. They break easily! I broke 2 nails after 1 week. The manager Tom was not in so the lady at the front desk didn't want to help me (even though the salon was empty) so I tipped her $10 for 2 broken nail fixes. The next day another nail breaks. The manager Tom is there but he has someone else fix it. She charges me $4 for the third broken nail (not my fault) . So I paid $14 on top of that over $60 for this bad set. Tom told me if I ever break a nail to come in and he'll take care of it. When I tried to ask him about being charged he didn't say anything, everyone just ignored me. I've been getting my nails done as gel xtensions for years and they never break like this! Especially before 3 weeks. I will not be retuning here read more

Gel I loved Kim's attention! She did my toes and they look prettier than my finger nails. I didn't leave such a good tip for some reasons -I noticed in several places in the USA that they don't use disposable material for nails with fungus! And they don't leave that nail for the last so I'm always worried about contaminate my other nails! And other people as well (and get some fungus from other people) we all should know this at this point! -I showed to the gal that did my finger nails a picture of what I wanted and she did the same as Kim was doing on my toes :/ Hope you can take this as a constructive comment to get better The chair was amazing tho! read more

I didn't look at Yelp before getting my nails done. It was an impromptu decision for me to go to their shop. I didn't know who to ask for, but Tom was available and did my nails. I asked for a milky pink/natural look using dip. Tom didn't disappoint. I'm so happy with the outcome of nails. I showed him the picture of what I wanted and he gave me exactly what I envisioned. My friend and I happened upon this place via yelp when we wanted to get pedicures without an appointment. They had openings and we quickly got spa chairs. The massage chairs are better than most of these places. Good condition and a good massage! The people who run and work at the place are fun and pleasant. Cleanliness and health codes/ measures are really important here and seemed to be followed well. We did a paraffin wax and salt scrub along with 10 min massage. They give you a small bottle of water too. That's "option B" out of four add-on packages. So worth it! Looking forward to coming back for another pedicure and will try a manicure too. Parking was easy. read more

Definitely not coming back to this place!! First of all when I called they gave me pricing and when I went there they charged me for removal separately (which was never mentioned). On top of that the person who did my manicure rushed through it without cleaning my cuticles properly! The pedicure on the board said that they use sea salt which was never used. So upset and ended up paying more than other places because they trick you on the spot! read more

It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

Horrible nail salon . Even worse service .. I have never had a GEL French tip look this bad after 3 days . I feel like a joke was played on me and they asked the "pedicure only" girl to try to do a fill for kicks and giggles .. my fill line is visible and there are huge bumps where the new powder was layered .. no filing , no smoothing , nothing ... and to top it off the girl who did my nails did not paint the tip of my nails after me asking her 3 times before she finished !! Hello it's called a "FRENCH TIP" how do u not paint the damn tips !! and she filed my nails AFTER she finished painting the French tip which clearly messed up the tips even more then she did ! The owner offers to stay and fix my nails but he was yelling because I complained and my kids got upset that he was yelling at me . Even a random customer stayed in the salon with me while he "fixed" my nails fearful of how this grown ass man was yelling at me over my dissatisfaction with his employee ! I don't usually frequent nail salons, but today, I was in the mood to get my nails done because I thought it was a cheap way to treat myself. Nicky's is in my neighborhood, so I gave them a call and they quoted $11 for a french mani, so I drove over there without an appointment an hour before closing and they were very accommodating. The girl who did my nails was very sweet and she did a great job. Great price, great service. Can't complain. I love getting my eyebrows done here. If Lany wasn't there, I would seriously never set foot in this place since the new owner has taken over. The new owner Tom is the biggest ASSHOLE ever!!! I miss Niky-he was the best. Tom is very degrading and treats his employees like crap. He even leads male customers to believe that his wife is his sister so that they can give her bigger tips.
