11/2/2023: went to MB location and food is consistently delicious. Tried the mouthwatering Suvama Ceviche with fish only and loved it, it was superb. Also ordered the Suviche roll I had tried on my previous visit and left me wanting more. This location is more convenient as far as parking is concerned and more seating capacity compared to that in Brickell. I love this place. I can stop by for dinner or lunch in between work hours and it feels right and cozy no matter the time of day. I like the variety between Peruvian food and sushi that this menu aja to offer. I also love that they've included vegetarian options, though I'm not vegetarian, I still enjoy these options. Just looking for a light dinner and the happy hour menue hit the spot. Both of us chose the happy hour ceviche, the leche de tigre is perfectly tart. The whole dish was filled with lots of fish. The service sucked soooooo bad. We went at 9 PM on 05/07 and it was only us and two other parties finishing up. Tell me why the server started to do silverware in front of us and didn't bring us water until we had to ask her a second time after 15 minutes of waiting. We waited for like 30 minutes for the rolls and the kitchen didn't even ring or alert the server for when the food was ready. We had a great experience eating here. The food was very tasty. I will say that I felt the protein in each of our dishes was a little bit skimpy. We ordered the limo saltado and a chicken in yellow sauce. I felt like there was a small amount of protein in each dish, especially given the price and portions at other restaurants close by. But, the service here is super super nice. They stand by their food and quality. Our dish came out cold and they did the right thing offering to remake the dish right away. Upon walking in, the place is spacious and trendy. There were quite a few full tables around 1pm on a weekday. They also offer outdoor seating. I ordered 2 rolls off of the "buy 1 get 1 50% off" rolls menu. I think this was a Tuesday special and not happy hour - there's a different menu for that. I have to say 2 rolls of sushi are usually easy for me to throw back alone but these rolls almost took me out! I order the perfection roll and a spicy salmon roll. I believe both rolls were a combination of cooked and raw fish. They were super packed and truly yummy. I would recommend sharing as the rolls are pretty big. read more

Called ahead of time to let them know that we were coming in in as a family of six. when we arrived I told her we're here for six people and she politely told me that we would have to wait because she has an another reservation. We were the reservation :) actually made me really happy because I didn't necessarily reserve the spot. All I had done was called to make sure that There was seating available so the fact that they went out of their way to get the table ready for us really made our day. We were starving and they were able to sit us right away that alone I was grateful for. The food was very very good. I ordered I believe, the tatari it was soooo good. The Peruvian Japanese mix was very delicious. I personally didn't care much for the sushi itself but the bowl so freaking good. First time here on a Sunday! There was only one other party dining since we went after peak brunch hours, but there were several other parties in there by the time we had finished eating. Service was very prompt and attentive even with the influx of other diners; we were able to go in, get our orders in a timely manner and make it out with plenty of beach time! The quinoa salad was so yummy; the soy sauce based dressing brought it together so well. Haven't enjoyed a leafy salad that I didn't make in a while! The Suviche ceviche (got it with fish) was more milky in appearance than expected but fresh with the onions and occasional sweet potato (I think) and not overwhelmingly acidic. The jalapeño roll was well flavored with smoky jalapeño slices and spicy mayo. My friend made the pro move of sprinkling the giant corn kernels onto the salad and on the ceviche for extra crunch! I could eat those kernels for hours. Payment was easy; they split our check without any issues and give you a tablet for paying to get a paper receipt or email version (also asking if you want to sign up for their email list and rewards program). They definitely serve feviche here (fake ceviche). We had the seafood ceviche and it gave us the worst stomachache because of all the acid from the lime juice. I know that is how ceviche is typically prepared, but in this case, it seemed as though they precooked the seafood (or defrosted it), and dunked it in a bunch of lime juice. It was the worst. We also ordered a sushi roll - the Jalapeno Roll (white fish and avocado, sprinkled with cilantro and topped with a slice of jalapeno pepper and torched spicy mayo). This was actually not bad but that was only because of the torched spicy mayo and jalapeno. I couldn't even taste the fish, but maybe that was a good thing. For drinks, we had micheladas, which again, came with a gallon of lime juice. It was so bad that we couldn't even finish it. I'm sure Florida has a shortage of limes because Suviche bought out all of the supply. Don't come here unless you want bad/sour food and a terrible stomachache. read more

I sat there for about five minutes or so before the server greeted me with the maize kernels. I asked for water and ordered the Miami Roll and a fried fish fillet entree. The roll was not the best quality, about average. The entree was quite good. Very crispy and fried perfectly. I would probably just get the entree only next time. Wow! Vegan Peruvian. Tough choice between the vegan ceviches and the causa acevichada, but it's been so long since I've had causa (pre-vegan days?) I had to go there. Not. Disappointed. At. All. Potato Pete purée with aji amarillo topped with mushroom, plantain, avocado, a touch of cilantro, fried red onions and a smoked rocoto sauce. A touch of spice but not overpowering. We ordered two orders of causa frita from the happy hour menu, along with the almost perfect roll, and a veg roll from the regular menu. The rolls are very tasty, and the causa frita is a great texture and flavor. The veg roll was a bit thicker than usual today, as it had thicker vegetables but was enjoyable. Suviche has a great deal during times of COVID-19: 50% off select ceviches, sushi rolls, and even some alcohol (double check when ordering but I got 50% off beers when I ordered). Ordering was easy through the Toast Takeout app. My order was ready to be picked up within the estimated time given, and everything was packaged really well. The fish tasted fresh and yummy. My only problem was that when ordering the ceviche, you couldn't select the type of seafood/fish you wanted. Also, I ordered my ceviche spicy and it definitely was not.
