I read so many high reviews about this restaurant saying it was soo good. I ordered the catfish basket which was well seasoned had some heat to I enjoyed the tarter was good. I wish it came with bigger catfish pieces. Fries tasted like it came from the freezer so yeah it was good. Cornbread had a weird texture like an old hard sponge. If you don't like lemon don't order the sweet tea cause they make it with lemon no choices to have it without lemon. Overall the meal was okay 6/10 ehh not a fan

Went here over the weekend it was packed so we sat at the bar. We ordered the boozy lemonade and they was out of tequila on a Friday at like 1 pm which I thought was strange. It was super busy but that's no excuse for how bad the service was. The bartender didn't speak to us until almost 20 minutes after we sat down and it took forever to get our drinks. My steak and eggs were immaculate the smashed potatoes was seasoned and steak cooked perfectly

BEST FRIED CHICKEN EVER!!!! Only been here once and cannot wait to go back. Perfectly fried chicken thighs, delicious fries, AMAZING homemade ranch dressing. Great great great service. Cannot wait for round two. Nice and quiet at lunchtime on a weekday. Clean bathroom.

Dropped by for dinner with my boyfriend after a candlelight concert nearby and Sweet chick will always be my favorite southern comfort food restaurant of all time. 5 stars everytime! He ordered the fish sandwich, while I opted for the traditional chicken sandwich. We also got the grits, and a chocolate chip waffle. I ordered the "sweet chick" drink which they took off the menu, but the server offered to make it for me which was very sweet. I did not catch his name but he was very lovely and attentive. Everything was fresh and delicious and we had leftovers to take home as well. I love sweet chick forever!

We had the chicken and fries around 8pm. The waiter had his earbuds on and on the phone while taking our order. Therefore our orders were wrong. Food itself is okay for chicken in the area but nothing of great note. I personally wouldn't try again.

We walked in no wait we got lucky. First time and the service is 10/10 I had Nashville chicken tenders with apple cinnamon waffles delicious. I was hangry and the first bite was just what I needed. Lol. The ambiance is cute and clean kept. I will def be coming back on my next visit.

This was my first time at this location, and it definitely didn't disappoint. The BLT sandwich was amazing. The chicken was crispy, and all the flavors worked together wonderfully. The mac and cheese was not good. It needed salt and flavor. Next time, I am going to get the fries and try a drink. The service was great, even though it was busy. The ambiance is laid back and cute.

I was not able to find this spot on Grubhub but thankfully the restaurant lets you order straight from their website. So boom, the first time I went in the store (super cute) You can sit inside or outside but it's like an open concept so that's pretty cool. I picked up a quick lil 5piece wings (maple chipotle) they are not breaded and without needing to mention extra crispy they were great! So I'm working in Brooklyn and said let me get some chicken on this beautiful Friday! I order the classic bone in 3 piece w. A biscuit and a side of Brussels because hello can't eat all my cals before the weekend even begins! I prefer mine w. A bite to them but they were more soft and a bit soggier than expected although the flavor was definitely on point! The chicken, this bone in chicken! Was DIVINE, like legit crunchy crispy NOT soggy well seasoned best chicken I've had in a while. See pics to follow. Next that biscuit was melt in your mouth didn't even need any butter (which they graciously included) soft middle w. Crisp outside but it did come with an apple butter that had me sliding the last piece of this biscuit around the container to finish it all up !!

I ordered the bone in chicken and waffles. Everything was made fresh and came out nice and hot. The waffles were fluffy and served with this delicious flavored butter. The chicken looks better then it tasted. It said it was Nashville hot flavor but it didnt really come thru for me. The flavored homemade lemonades are fire. I like the decor and the staff was super friendly. My brother ordered the fish sandwich and absolutely loved it. We were a little hungry still and ordered some tenders those were really good. I think I prefer it over the bone In. They have indoor and outdoor sidewalk seating and they sell alcohol.

In the actual south, serving biscuits and gravy this bad is a jailable offense without parole.

We spent $78 on food that was inedible, then had to go elsewhere to eat. My wife and I came here to eat two weeks ago (Saturday September 13th). It took about five minutes for anyone to acknowledge our presence, despite several employees standing around; this should have been our first sign to leave, but we were excited about Bloody Marys and biscuits and gravy, so we gave them the benefit of the doubt. BIG mistake. The first person who acknowledged our presence flailed their arms in the direction of the dining floor and said, "Sit anywhere!" There was no signage anywhere to indicate that guests should seat themselves, and they had ample opportunity to tell us this before but just decided not to. It took more than four more minutes for us to get menus, which was our second sign that we should have left to eat elsewhere. Foolishly we did not. One of the servers made eye contact and smiled at us at least six times while she was casually strolling around the restaurant talking to people, but she refused to speak with us or give us menus. Finally the gentleman behind the bar brought us our menus. But no water. No discussion of drinks or what we wanted. Meanwhile, people who had walked in after us were seated by the other server and given menus and water right away. SIX MINUTES LATER (I was timing everything at this point, because I just couldn't believe how long everything was taking) our server returned. He asked what we wanted to drink and we said "Bloody Marys!" What we'd been looking forward to since we first read about this place! We were then informed that they did not have Bloody Marys. "Oh, did you run out today? Popular drink?" "No, this location has never had Bloody Marys," he said. "I don't know why they don't take them off the menu." This was the third sign that we should have left to eat elsewhere, but we did not. I asked for a "tequila sunrise with mezcal" and he said, "Oh that's not on the menu, let me see if we can make it." A tequila sunrise consists of three ingredients. Tequila, Orange Juice and Grenadine. I wanted it with mezcal instead of tequila. I could see with my very own eyes that there was mezcal, Orange Juice and Grenadine. They were all also listed on the menu. Our server confirmed that the other server could make such a beverage, and I reminded him "With mezcal please!" and I heard him tell her twice "With mezcal." Somehow I got a drink with no mezcal in it. And look, I get it! Some restaurants do not allow substitutions. But if you don't allow substitutions, just say "We don't allow substitutions." Don't say you're going to make it the way I want, and then fail to do so. Moving on -- we ordered our meal: I ordered biscuits and gravy with cheddar on top, and my wife ordered a breakfast burrito. "Cheddar on top, I got you man," our server lied. More interminable time passed before our cocktails arrived, then more interminable time before the food arrived. As soon as it got there I noticed the complete lack of cheddar. Again, I get it! Some restaurants do not allow substitutions. But if you don't allow substitutions, just say "We don't allow substitutions." Don't say "Cheddar on top, I got you man," And then fail to put the cheddar on top. Then I tasted the food, and I knew we had royally screwed up by choosing Sweet Chick. The biscuits and gravy were so salty that I only had two bites. The breakfast burrito, on the other hand, was so devoid of flavor that it too was inedible. The restaurant's staff took away both uneaten plates without questioning if there was an issue, and didn't give us an opportunity to raise any issues. In the end, we had to go eat somewhere else -- we paid for two meals that day just to eat one, because Sweet Chick couldn't provide the bare modicum of *AN EDIBLE MEAL.* We spent $78 on food that was inedible, and had to go elsewhere to eat. If Sweet Chick is happy with this mix of inedible slop and atrocious hospitality, then they need to admit they're just a junky fast food restaurant -- and drop the whole pretense of being a respectable dining establishment.

Yes they do. Within 23 to 34 mins

Can you just order waffles without chicken at dinnertime?

I’m sure they can. I believe they had just waffles. However their menu should be reviewed just in case they update.

Do you have bottomless brunch for Saturday i.e. mimosas or rum punch?

    No they don't do bottomless

Wondering if there's an option to get boneless chicken with your waffle?? Or is it all drums/thighs/wings?

You can get boneless chicken if you request it.... just ask the waiter

What's a good time to go for brunch on Saturday morning since SweetChick doesn't do reservations?

Early when the establishment first open or after 4:00pm.

Will it be a wait for 4 people on April 13 2018 at around 3 pm?

Possibly cause it's a start off to the weekend. The good thing is if you do have to wait, they have a great system where they can reach you via text when your table is ready so you don't have hang around.

Orders are made at the register as soon as you walk in, even for dine-in orders. I ordered grilled chicken with yellow rice and red beans and a side of sweet plaintains. The chicken was those flat, paper thin strips with grill marks all over. It was tender but not very flavorful. The yellow rice was good and the beans were fine. The sweet plaintains were the best part of my meal. They were cooked nice and brown and they weren't mushy at all. I asked for hot sauce. I was given a cold bottle of hot sauce from the fridge. The dipping sauce helped to give the chicken a little zing. Chicken Stop is a narrowly built restaurant with decent seating, dim lighting and fake grass walls. There was a large, flat-screen TV hanging from the fake grass wall, showing the news. The satellite music was an awful mix of soft rock and country/western. Menu prices are reasonable. I have business in that area now. I'll be dining at Chicken Stop again.

The chicken was fried perfectly; it crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful inside. The portions are generous, and although I paid almost $30 for dinner with rice, I still had enough left over for another meal. It's definitely pricier than many of the more affordable spots around Chinatown, but they're serving a more niche menu rather than the usual dumplings, noodles, or Chinese BBQ, so I think the price is justified. They also accept cards, which is convenient compared with some other spots in the neighborhood that are cash-only. The main reason I'm giving it 4 stars is the service. There was some miscommunication with the staff, my drinks were brought to another table, and they almost did the same with my food before I signaled that it was mine. The tables also weren't the cleanest and could've used a quick wipe-down between guests. That said, the restaurant is very small, probably only 10-12 seats, so space is definitely limited. Despite the service issues, I really enjoyed the food and would come back. If you're looking for something different from the typical Chinatown offerings, Peking House is definitely worth trying!

I walked into a bright, clean, and energetic restaurant with a fast-paced atmosphere that reflects how popular the chain has become. Even with a line forming at the counter, the staff kept things moving efficiently, and the operation felt well organized considering the volume of customers coming through the door. I went with one of the tender combos, which is really the reason most people come here in the first place. The chicken tenders were juicy, freshly cooked, and had a crispy coating that held up well without feeling overly heavy. The coating had a good crunch that stayed intact through the meal, and the chicken itself was moist and tender throughout. The real standout, though, is the Cane's Sauce. It adds a tangy, peppery flavor that works perfectly with the chicken and honestly ties the entire meal together. Between the tenders, crinkle-cut fries, and Texas toast, it is a simple meal, but one that is executed consistently well. The toast is buttery and soft, and the fries are solid enough to hold their own alongside the main event. One thing I have noticed is that the chicken can occasionally feel a little greasy depending on the visit, especially if you are ordering a larger combo. For some people that may not be an issue at all, while others might find it sits a bit heavy afterward. That has varied from visit to visit, but it is worth mentioning because the meal is definitely on the richer side compared to some other fast food chicken options. The coleslaw provides a lighter contrast, though it is a fairly standard version of the side and does not stand out the way the chicken and sauce do. The staff during my visit were friendly and efficient, and the restaurant was well maintained. Food came out quickly, and despite the limited menu, there is something refreshing about a place that focuses on doing one thing rather than trying to offer dozens of different options. The simplicity of the menu makes the decision process easy, and the consistency of the meal across visits is a big part of the appeal. Raising Cane's delivers a satisfying chicken tender meal with quality chicken, a great signature sauce, and consistently solid sides. It may not be the lightest meal around, but when you are in the mood for crispy chicken tenders and a straightforward comfort-food combo, it is easy to see why so many people keep coming back. The meal is familiar, filling, and hits the right notes for what it sets out to do.

That and the colors painted on the container (and also the menu) say jerk chicken. I like jerk chicken. I also walk by this corner 25 times a week, and I'm glad I finally checked it out. There's a nice deck back there, with a few mismatched tables, and classic rock blasting out of an old radio. It was 11:55 am, and although the sign said they opened at noon, the guy sitting out front in an apron was ready to go. His name is Alan, and he seems like a New York original, in the best way. Quick wits, no nonsense, ready with a joke, but also a little salty...but in the best way. I'd imagine it's his jerk chicken stand. I asked a couple of questions, and ended up getting a 1/4 jerked chicken with curry pickles, rice and peas, and greens. They're listed individually, but Alan gave me a bit of each, and said we could call it a lunch special. It was all delicious. The chicken was juicy and smoky. It was cut in three pieces (bone in, skin on) with some heat that creeped up on you. I amped it up with a generous amount of the mango hot sauce that Alan is justifiably proud of. The pickles were sharp and flavorful. The greens weren't collard like I expected, but brighter and raw. The rice and peas were a good base to cool it all down, but I squirted a ton of that hot sauce on them too. By the end of it, I was sweating a little from the spice, which is how it should be after you eat some jerk chicken. I'm gonna come back and eat it again soon.
