Service was fast and friendly, the food was delicious, ribs were tender easy to separate, chopped chicken and pulled pork were also tender as enjoyable to eat. The atmosphere is cool and relaxing.

Boneless Rib Sandwich w/Corn Nuggets & Green Beans

Today I had to go to my follow up from my full knee replacement so afterwards my wife & I decided to go here. Sweet Daddy's use to be down in Mandeville many, many years ago but they decided to close down the second location. My wife got the chopped brisket sandwich and she truly enjoyed it and she said it was delicious. I had the boneless rib sandwich with corn nuggets and green beans.. Again everything was truly great, with amazing smoke flavor but not too much! It was so good we decided to get The Kick Off Deal for my daughter & her family because she had a Cochlear Implant done today. She and my son-in-law both have called to tell me how good it was since then. We even brought a pound of chopped brisket & a full rack of ribs home for our house. Y'all need to come back to Mandeville!!

Unfortunately, a chicken brush was very tough and difficult to eat. The macaroni and cheese is absolutely terrible and the french fries are frozen thenied

Fried crawfish and mac n cheese balls

Great food and service. Loved the pulled pork sandwich. Fresh and tasty. The fried crawfish and mac n cheese balls were amazing!

Being from Texas, I am very judgmental of bbq esp ribs and brisket. Let's start with our basics, parking is in front, side and back of the restaurant. If it gets crowded...I guess parking next door won't be too bad. The restaurant is super cute. Lots of earthy tons with tons of bbq decors as it should be. I was super excited to see more local bbq joints around! My hubby and I walked up to the counter and greeted by friendly guys who then handed us a menu. We studied it and decided on the three meat combo with two sides. Price is not too expensive but not easy on the wallet. We chose: 1/4 Chicken, ribs and Brisket (fatty pieces) with Mac and Cheese and Potato salad. We also ordered sweet ice tea and bottled Root beer. I noticed they had their soda machine behind the counter but teas are in front where customers could reach. Let's review the entree. Delicious bbq chicken. Fall of the bone type of bbq smoked chicken. Good flavor. Brisket was good too! Not as smoky as I would have liked but better than most places I have eaten. The brisket was tender...it definitely needs sauce to be more flavorful. Without sauce...it's not too flavorful. Ribs were not great. It was tough to eat and not fall off the bone. There wasn't much of a smoke ring that I look for when eating ribs. It was flavorless without the sauce. I like some pull on ribs but this was just not edible for me. Good sides...Mac and cheese was good. It was cheesy and not overly salty. Potato salad is mayo based more than mustard base. Overall, I would come back for the chicken and brisket but will forgo the ribs. Great customer service tho! Nice guys in the front of the house. Helpful!

    Sausage sandwich plate

Excellent, consistent, old school BBQ joint. Can't go wrong with the brisket, or the chicken. I love their baked beans, they have as much meat in them as beans it seems, good and hearty. You can also get jambalaya as a side which is pretty good too.

Ordered just a pulled pork sandwich, mac and coleslaw....man....where to start. First it took about 20 mins with no one in there to get my food out. The pork was dry and didn't taste fresh, the Mac and cheese is God awful....it tastes like watered down government cheese with no flavor, and the slaw was just okay. And on top of everything the place just isn't that clean which is always a red flag for me. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else for your bbq.....maybe even the gas station because Dickeys is terrible.

I will not recommend this business to anyone else and in fact will tell everyone how horrible it was. What a dungeon. Kitchen area looks old and burnt up like no one cares for the place. Everything looks burnt and blackened.

I certainly appreciate them making it work. Crazy Pig has an excellent menu for breakfast with lots of different options We went on a Sunday morning I got one of the omelettes I think mine was the lean omelette Everything comes with bread and or biscuit I can't eat bread or biscuit so our waiter offered me avocado and tomatoes, which were a perfect choice to go with my omelette Most restaurant places that I've been to usually just remove the item without offering a substitution I was so happy with the alternate options I spoke with the owner to let her know that I appreciate having the tomato and the avocado instead of the bread and the biscuit. Then she told me that they just had a class on food allergies This is really exceptional that a restaurant is taking up their own initiative to learn about food allergies so that they can service their customers with better care While the food is definitely excellent with the capacity to offer different options for the different dietary needs that people have and the staff is educated, I just wish that they had better coffee at the Mandeville location like a cappuccino or a café latte Still an excellent choice

Keith provided wonderful service all night. He was friendly and came by at the right times to check on us. The bussers were great at clearing our dishes and refilling our water. The food was fantastic and they offer many gluten free items or can be prepared gluten free if asked. Everything from the Oysters Pablo to the Foie Gras to the Fish Almondine and Steak was delicious. My son loved his Truffle Soft Shell Crab Pasta that he split with Grandma. The medium rare steak was cooked to perfection. All the sides were also so yummy. We started the evening with cocktails, appetizers, wine with the entrees, then more cocktails with dessert. The Creme Brulee with Berries was delicious. Others really liked the Bread Pudding. The Old Fashions, Dirty Martinis, Espresso Martinis, and wine were all great. They offer a great selection of wine by the bottle. It was so good, no broccoli spear was left behind. Normally, we don't eat bread (oh too good) but felt I had to, in order to fill up and not get weak for the blood donation. My husband had the burger. We forgot to ask for cheese, but it was also perfectly cooked. We ate at the bar and had the privilege of seeing Pat G sitting there as well.
