So, it was with a certain sense of relief that after a rough experience during the pandemic this beloved Thai institution returned with this "curbside" joint at 65th and Keystone. I will admit that it took me way longer than I would have liked to finally make it to Thai Curbside by Sawasdee. It's relatively close to my neighborhood, however, with all the road construction around I just didn't go much north of the Glendale area for quite awhile. That road construction is calming down, at least in this area, and it's now fairly easy to get to the strip center location where you can find Thai Curbside. About the only thing else here of note would be Kroger and potentially Arby's. I suppose you should also toss in Sahm's Place also across the parking lot. You can imagine my surprise when I arrived and first noticed that Thai Curbside is not, in fact, exclusively curbside. That said, a good amount of their business seems to be curbside and take-out. They do also offer catering. The inside dining option is admittedly slight with about a half-dozen tables and a counter space that struck me as pretty cool. In terms of accessibility, it's pretty solid here. Parking is pretty easy. There's not an accessible spot directly in front, however, they are around the strip center. I've not had difficulty finding a way to park here to protect accessibility. The door is a single-sided glass door and the layout is welcoming and roomy. As nearly every review has indicated, service is top-notch here with a strong sense of welcome and enthusiastic greetings. Food options here are, you guessed, it Thai. They have appetizers, soups, salads, stir-fried entrees, curry entrees, fried rice and noodle entrees, a la carte options, beverages (including Thai iced tea and iced coffee), a handful of desserts, and for those who just can't do without a soft drink they carry Pepsi products (and regular iced tea that is unsweetened). I'm a crab rangoon maniac. The crab rangoon here is definitely upper tier. In terms of entrees, ginger rice and chicken is only available on weekends. It's incredible. Pud Kra Tiem Prik Thai is also inspired. I tend to avoid curry entrees, however, I've got friends who swear by them here. I've also not tried any of the desserts. Overall, this is a terrific option - especially for take-out. The inside dining is definitely smallish. It's still winning - and you get to experience the friendly people here. However, I tend to prefer either dining in my car or taking it home. I tend to be fairly boring with my diet, but Thai Curbside is definitely an experience I'll be craving in the very near future once again.

I guess I was excited, but she scolded me several times to the point that my endorphins had sunk to the ground. I tried to put the incident behind me and wait my turn to go in. I ordered a bowl with Korean beef. The clerk told me there was no charge for avocado, so I added avocado. When I checked out, I was charged for avocado. I guess they still have a few hiccups to work out. My bowl was delicious, I loved the flavorful Korean beef and I can make a meal of the pickled onions. The Black Currant Black tea was very good. I love the Miso soup which comes with every bowl. My husband got a Steak Bowl which he enjoyed. The steak was cooked perfectly. The dining room is the usual cute upscale orange and white. Several covered tables are outside where you can bring your pooch and eat. I downloaded the app which gives you frequent buyer rewards. I wish I had known about the app sooner. The location is a little wonky with the store's back facing the road.

They have the normal burgers, wings, sandwiches, and salads. However, in addition to that, they offer a selection of Chinese, Mexican, Italian, Indian, Mediterranean and Thai food options. There is something for everyone! My wife got the loaded tacos. They were tortillas, your choice of corn or flour, served with seasoned ground beef, cheese, lettuce, Sour cream, and cilantro. They came with a side of pico and salsa. Cost was $10.99. They were very good. The seasoning on the beef was wonderful. When we opened the order, they looked small in size. However, they were ample and my wife said she had plenty to eat. We both really liked the tacos. I got the meat pizza for $15.49. It was loaded with ham, sausage, bacon, and pepperoni. I had leftovers. The pizza was good, but not something to write home about. It's not that I would not get it again, but rather I would try something else next time. The waitress was nice. She was attentive without being bothersome, and she kept my glass filled. She gets 5 stars for her effort... but the food was another story. The spaghetti was just ok (at best). When the name of the meal is in the name of the restaurant, it should be excellent. That was not the case. When my spaghetti and meat sauce was placed in front of me, it looked pretty good. As I started to fold the sauce into the noodles, I immediately saw a small body of water swirling at the bottom of my plate. I can't think of any other Italian place where my spaghetti was served almost floating- not Buca di Beppo, not Olive Garden, not even Fazoli's. What it DID remind me of was a trip to Skyline Chili, where you expect to see the mysterious reddish-orange water at the bottom of your plate. Even after eating my full meal, there was still water left on the plate. It's like they never drained the noodles at all. The pictures do the talking for this place. I guess I should have known it wouldn't be anywhere close to "authentic Italian" when their bar decorations include a Mobil Gas sign (not very Italian), and the TV is off during the World Cup.
