Bbq chicken salad with added cucumbers and carrots
    Karen M.

We decided to get delivery and have been wanting to try the Sweetgreen near us. I ended up ordering the Sunmer Market Bowl and it did not disappoint. Ordering via the app. was very easy and food was delivered on time with frequent updates in the app. My husband had the BBq chicken salad and he liked his a lot as well.

We arrived a little before noon and there was about a 20 minute wait for a four top. Note that it is incredibly loud in the interior so if you are sensitive to noise, you may want to specifically request the outside patio - although today might have been loud anyway, as there was an event going on at the park and people were using bullhorns to communicate, lol. Our drink order was taken quickly and delivered, and then we didn't see anybody for a while so we flagged down a different server and she took care of us for the rest of our visit. I had the lunch combo special, they were out of tomato soup so opted for the chicken curry and it was very tasty as as well as as I had 1/2 of the roast turkey club on sourdough. Everything was very good. My husband had half chicken salad and also the chicken curry soup as well and was satisfied with his meal. It is pricey at $43 for both meals, note that they charge four dollars for ice tea, probably should've gotten that refill, but I didn't realize how expensive it was, oops. It's Zionsville high rent district so not surprised

It had a kick, so it was what it said it would be. -we also split a Cheese Pizza ($17) on their regular crust. the cheese was generously applied, sauce was OK, the crust was subpar and not something we would order again (Visit #2) -Bavarian Pretzel Sticks ($12) come as an order of 4 lightly salted sticks with sides of nacho cheese and honey mustard. The sticks are among the better pretzel offerings I have had. Not the best (that would be 101 craft kitchen and Red Front), but definitely better than average. -Da Beef ($14) was a nice portion of beef. Because I was doing carryout, I got the sauce on the side. -the sandwich came with a side of their in house chips, which I really liked. they aren't seasoned if that's your thing, but I simply appreciate a fresh made potato chip and they were that Overall, if you like meat, it's probably on their menu and I'm guessing will scratch your itch. If you're not a meat-eater, it probably won't appeal. If stairs aren't your thing, it could be a dealbreaker unless there's another route I don't know of.

The best part, meals come with this tiny butter croissant that it out of this world! So good!!! Desserts are a hit or miss. Some are really good and others just okay. The first couple of times I was here, everything was fairly smooth and service was great. The last time that I was there (a week ago), I did not have that same experience. There are different people working there, unsure if newer or not, but it was definitely not as inviting and my order was wrong, so it was not typed in correctly. I did not say anything, I am positive they would have made it right, but it was a no biggee. I also ordered a coffee and when I went to get it, it was still not made. My food came out but no coffee. I was told "I will make it for you now" and then it was brought out a little bit later. Unfortunately, I was finished eating at that point, but no biggee. My point with the above, is that the customer service is just not on par like it used to be, not sure what the changes are, but I love this cute spot, so will be coming back! I had marked my calendar and was there early to watch the ribbon cutting and be among the first to order a bowl. My enthusiasm was cut short when I was scolded by a clerk for "getting out of line." I guess I was excited, but she scolded me several times to the point that my endorphins had sunk to the ground. I tried to put the incident behind me and wait my turn to go in. I ordered a bowl with Korean beef. The clerk told me there was no charge for avocado, so I added avocado. When I checked out, I was charged for avocado. I guess they still have a few hiccups to work out. My bowl was delicious, I loved the flavorful Korean beef and I can make a meal of the pickled onions. The Black Currant Black tea was very good. I love the Miso soup which comes with every bowl. My husband got a Steak Bowl which he enjoyed. The steak was cooked perfectly. The dining room is the usual cute upscale orange and white. Several covered tables are outside where you can bring your pooch and eat. I downloaded the app which gives you frequent buyer rewards. I wish I had known about the app sooner. The location is a little wonky with the store's back facing the road.

We'd heard great things about Rosie's, so we were excited to finally give it a try. Unfortunately, our experience just didn't live up to the hype. Our food came out less than five minutes after ordering, which in a packed restaurant immediately made us wonder how fresh it really was. After tasting it, it was pretty clear much of it had been prepared well beforehand. I even asked for my potatoes to be crispy, and the response was simply, "We can't do that," which was surprising for such a popular breakfast spot. On top of that, almost everything lacked seasoning and fell pretty flat flavor wise. We barely touched our meals and didn't even want to take the leftovers home, which is rare for us. To be fair, this is just our personal experience, and it's obvious a lot of people genuinely enjoy Rosie's. We're not trying to be overly critical over one visit. But based on the meal and service we received, it's not a place we'd personally recommend.
