No doubt you have a good quality food but if your service sucks, you will start losing customers like me and others very often. There are several competitors out there offering similar food along with a generous professional service and I am feeling bad to tell you that I am never coming back though I liked your food. I usually have a great experience in this sweetgreen but today the customer service was way too slow (with no line) and unprofessional. When I came in there were several employees behind the counter, but no one was there to start taking new orders. I waited for a few minutes for someone to come slowly wash his hands, slowly put on his gloves, and then finally take my order. All without an apology for the wait, especially given that now a line actually formed behind me. I then took my order to eat inside, and he then proceeded to talk (loud enough so I could hear) about the bad attitudes of customers. There was another person before me who they were talking about too. That is not quality customer service or any semblance of professionalism. Period. Most of the bad reviews I read were about service while dining in. I order for delivery and have had an amazing experience. I now order once a week and never loved salads as much in my life! Absolutely amazing, never had to wait long, but I would wait much longer to have these works of art for any meal. I think if people stuck to the actual menu and didn't make obnoxious changes to every item they would be easy to please. But we all know how people are.... I highly recommend you order! Eek, went in to grab a quick salad to go and a man and a woman staff member were standing in front of the salad bar with their backs to the line that was forming, and arguing loudly. They proceeded to completely ignore customers who were lining up to order salads. When they finally started acknowledging people, they proceeded to yell back and forth at each other across the room. Absolutely disgusted with the service here. The staff is extremely rude and lazy, not what you'd expect from an establishment like this maybe McDonald's. They'll give you an attitude about anything you may ask and will openly confront you with a dirty look. As a first time customer I was new to the whole process but don't want to ever come back. I didn't give them a hard time, I'm not picky and I wasn't aggressive in any way. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if some of the workers are racist given the way the others just acted like it was okay. Lazy, incompetent and rude staff. One of the workers wasn't paying attention and squeezed a whole lime onto my buffalo chicken bowl. She didn't even realize her mistake until another customer asked if she could get lime on hers too, at which point it became clear that the lime was squeezed onto the wrong bowl. The woman rolled her eyes while asking if I wanted a new one. But I was in a rush because I had already been waiting there 12 minutes (even though there was only one person in line ahead of me), and had to take it as is. No offer for a comped salad, or anything to make the situation right. The salad was disgusting by the way. This place always runs out of stuff, even though they have 5 people in the back chopping and cooking. With only two people on the line making salads, I would definitely forget this place if timeliness is important to you. Go to Whole Foods or Cava next door. For what you get in service and quality for an overpriced $12 salad, this particular sweetgreen is a total joke. I love sweetgreen but just not this location, the first time I visited this new location, they almost messed up my harvest bowl by forgetting to add the goat cheese but luckily I caught it. The second time though, I wasn't so fortunate and drove all the way home with my harvest bowl only to realize the sweet potato was left out. I was furious because the flavor was not the same. The staff here are young and inattentive. They talk and laugh with their coworkers while preparing your food all while rushing. If they just took their time to make sure you got what you ordered, maybe customers would be more satisfied. read more

Being in Boston I have gone to all other sweetgreen locations. This however is a bad representation of a Sweetgreen. Beyond service being poor it is unsanitary. I got a salad that had these little white hairs in it. I didn't realize until I got home so I wAs too late to get another but I wouldn't have wanted it even if they offered. I love the food at sweetgreen, however I'd like to give 1 star due to the following reasons 1. On my first visit they were out of 4 items in the salad I ordered 2. On my second visit @ 10:30 am, right when they opened, the employees were busy still preparing and did not acknowledge my presence. I was able to get their attention by 10:45, but the salad I wanted had chicken and they were still cooking. There was also another customer who ended up leaving because his salad needed chicken 3. The staff is efficient and friendly, and was happy to make my substitutions. I recommend this for a healthy and fast lunch or dinner! Our order was late by 1/2 hour so our "warm bowls" were cold when they finally arrived (mine without blackened chicken I ordered) AND they charge a 4.00 delivery fee....who does that anymore??? I saw some pretty negative reviews of this location, but I'm a huge fan of Sweetgreen and thought it couldn't possibly be THAT bad. It might be very different at peak times, but when I visited at 3pm on a weekday afternoon, I was the only one in line and therefore was in and out pretty quickly. I love how generous they are with their veggies, and within minutes I had walked out with a delicious massive salad that helped tide me over for my 5 hour flight. read more

Good food, HORRENDOUS staff. I'll honestly probably order online from now on (if I even go back after today's experience) just so that I don't have to interact with these miserable people. I've been in on multiple occasions and the service has been terrible from the beginning, but I hoped it would improve (they're still *fairly* new, so I thought maybe they'd work out the kinks). Definitely not the case; it's only gotten worse. The employees have zero work ethic (or just really don't care to be there, in which case, get a new job), wait until they're finished having a conversation amongst themselves to acknowledge your presence, and then get all huffy and act like it's a problem when you actually order your food (complete with eye rolls!). They aren't friendly whatsoever, are IMPOSSIBLY slow (why does it take 10 minutes to make a salad when there isn't a line?) often royally mess up your order, and when you point out that there is an issue with it (even if they haven't put the lid on your bowl yet, and the problem would be easy to fix!) they look at you with dead eyes, say "oh" and continue to ring you up anyway. I'm sitting here fuming as I write this, there's so much more I could say. Stay away if you don't wish to be frustrated, or at least until upper management steps up and realizes they need a whole new staff. read more

I came in tonight at 7:30 tonight (mind you they don't close until 10:00) and your employee Neisha was extremely rude. I started my order with her being extremely impatient talking over me to her coworkers about how she needs to leave and looks like she can't now. Then when someone began restocking she said "well that's not my problem I'm not cutting up anything else". I love sweetgreen and have recently been in the habit of ordering salads once or twice each week. My order has only been correct once, which has been most disappointing. The only time I reported an omission was when the blackened chicken was not included. I was assisted by a wonderfully helpful customer service individual who offered me a $5 credit. Another time my avocado was missing. Another time my blue cheese was missing. Tonight my blue cheese and goat cheese were missing. Although I love the salad and the many choices, I don't love when I don't get what I order and the choices for which I paid. I don't think I'll be ordering again. read more

I go to lots of sweet greens and this is the slowest and messiest. Still good food, but far better if you order in advance. The team is weighted towards backroom prep (there are often 5 people + working, with only one or two making salads for the line of people). When you order ahead you don't get more and more frustrated as you see people fluffing kale and whisking dressing in the back as you patiently wait to order. I like the spicy Thai salad (beware though, sometimes the cilantro is sandy and there's a branch of basil rather than nicely plucked leaves) and the chicken parm salad is tasty, too. Great commitment to the planet with compostable packaging, great salad design. I just wish this one shop was more efficient and left less of a mess on the bowls as they make your salad. read more

I was REALLY excited about the idea of a salad bar with everything from blackened chicken to spicy broccoli to avocados... warm bowls, cold bowls, and everything in between. YUM! The other 5 workers were moving like dying snails, wiping teeny tiny bits of lettuce off the counters ... and a few were just walking around aimlessly... someone, I think, refilled a container of spinach. And the line of customers waiting? OUT THE DOOR. They were just standing, staring... starving... I have never in my life seen such SLOW MISERABLE service. Also, the tables were nasty. During Covid 19 delivery was free they Uber. You can follow your food through the process but when it says 'ready for the courier' the food sits for 45 mins or more. This is the 3rd time it has happened to me, my food is almost 1 hour late (past the time they said it would be delivered. Get a better system! Blaming it on the drivers is a lame excuse.
