My boyfriend and I came to sweetgreen in Pasadena after one of our workouts because we wanted to eat something healthy. We were able to get street parking nearby. When walking over I saw that they were next to Urth Café. Ahh!! It was really hard for me to stick to sweetgreen but I did. This location has plenty of outdoor and indoor seatings. However the table we sat at was really uncomfortable. The table itself was too high and it was at chest length when I sat down. Strange... Anyways, if you aren't familiar with sweetgreen they serve healthy bowls with premade selections or you can build your own bowl. We both decided to build our own bowl (starting $10.55). With this you get a base, 4 toppings, and dress. Proteins are separate and price varies on which one you pick. Definitely easy to price creep unlike a chipotle where protein is included. For the base it was hard to order the first time because they didn't have it listed anywhere. I wanted a vegetable base but they had a few different kids. I just got random mix greens. Then I added salmon (additional $6.65) as my protein. For the toppings I got the broccoli, sweet potato, corn, and pickled onions. Sprinkled some fried onions on top. Had their dressings on the side and didn't really eat much of it. Mhmmm it's so strange. For picking individual items I normally enjoy I don't really like how it all ate together. The salmon was dry. The sweet potato were thinly sliced and I didn't enjoy the texture. The pickled onions were overlyyyyy sour. I normally like pickled onions but not this execution of it. Sad to say the broccoli was probably the best thing in this bowl. To be fair my boyfriend enjoyed his bowl more than I did. The chicken was cheaper and tastier than the salmon. That's what I get for being healthy. If my boyfriend every wants to come back to sweetgreen... I'll be eating at Urth next door. I'm just not excited to come back.

Came to this location for the first time! Food: I ordered garlic steak. The flavors were there.. but the steak did not taste fresh. It was tough to chew on. I don't think I'll order it again.. my partner ordered the hot honey chicken and it tasted fine.. it wasn't too special according to him. Service: You order at the front and eat at a table. The tables were clean. Overall, the interior looks nice. We felt comfy. There's also outdoor seating! Parking: Parking fee wasn't too bad. It's $1.50 for 1 hour at the Playhouse parking lot. There's also a lot of street parking with meters. Overall: I would come back.. I just don't think I'll order the same thing. Maybe I'll stick to chicken next time. The chicken did taste better in my opinion. Free water is available and they even have the crunchy good ice!

Salad bowls! First time having it, my brother got it for me and it was delicious leaving me wanting more. Then we went another time but this time, I went physically into the shop. It was a nice place with indoor and outdoor seating. Walking in we got in line to make a salad bowl and service was quick and we went right after the lunch died down a bit. But this reminds me of places like chipotle or cava and these are my type of places! I had all the greens and proteins I wanted with being able dress up my salad bowls with sauces! Delicious and a bit pricey but once in a while it is good!

I was super excited to try this spot but honestly, I felt like it was super overpriced and overhyped! It's open daily 10am-9pm but it's open until 10pm on Friday and Saturday Parking can be tough since they don't have their parking lot but there is street parking and nearby paid parking structures Service was ok and pretty welcoming Inside was quite small with not much seating Menu had a good variety of "build-your-own" bowls, as well as a good selection of other bowls. Prices were very pricey so expect to pay ~$20/bowls! They charge extra for pretty much everything - e.g. avocado, cheese, etc. Got the Build Your Own with half salad & wild rice, steak, tomatoes, broccoli, sweet potatoes, apple, goat cheese, and avocado and it came out to $23! Got 3 dressings - Spicy Cashew, Lime Cilantro Vinaigrette, and Pesto Vinaigrette The steak was too overcooked and bland. Some of the arugula was not fresh. Honestly, everything tasted very bland and wasn't worth $23! My favorite dressing was Pesto Vinaigrette because it was more on the "lighter" side and it wasn't too salty. Strawberry Mint beverage was way too sweet. I was expecting it to be fresh and not so sweet so I was very disappointed. Overall, I will definitely not recommend or return unfortunately

I was so excited to try Sweetgreen after seeing TikTok videos of people enjoying what looked like the most healthy, delicious salads ever! I finally made it out on a Sunday afternoon and ordered the Chicken Parm Salad from their menu. The staff member who helped me was very friendly, and it's clear that the team does a great job keeping the restaurant clean and inviting. The salad itself was good...Honestly, nothing as amazing as the TikTok videos made it seem (lol). The main reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because I ended up with a really bad stomach ache after eating here. Update: I originally left a 3-star review because my first visit wasn't great, and I wasn't sure Sweetgreen was for me. However, their customer service reached out to me with genuine care and made sure to address my concerns. That kind of effort and attention really impressed me.

Sweetgreen is a similar dining style to chipotle where you line up and choose your type of bowl - salad, protein, a premade style, etc. and you can choose your toppings/add ons, etc. They give you a free slice of bread as well. This location has indoor and outdoor seating. I've tried their salmon, chicken avocado, and garlic steak bowls and all were delicious. Of their sides, I've tried the sweet potatoes and ripple fries. Both were good, but I think I like the sweet potatoes better. Tried the Ghia Le Ginger Spritz, didn't expect the fresh ginger grated inside, but it was good and not too sweet.

Steak size this is a joke.

You call this steak I counted 12 PC of steak at a dime size and you charged $24 , just call it mixed green salad with a hint of steak , this is rip off , you should change the picture online the steak size looks 5 times bigger this is sad.

A great first experience at the Pasadena branch of Sweetgreen! Sweetgreen is one of those places that delivers exactly what it promises, which includes extremely fresh, customizable, healthy meals that feel lighter than many fast-casual chains. My to-go is the romaine lettuce with Blackened chicken, and their house made hot sauce adds a low calorie option to enhance those natural flavors. Certainly a place worth stopping at!

My eldest daughter and I were at Pasadena for a Yelp event. Prior to the event, we wanted to have a light dinner. We parked at Pasadena Plaza and walked about one block to find the restaurant of choice because I didn't want to be too far from the event. Nothing came to mind on the way to the end of the block, but on our way back we found sweetgreen. Funny, I've walked on Colorado Blvd in the past and never noticed them until that night. We didn't know what exactly is their food specialty, but we love sweet and we like green so why not give them a chance to intrigue us so here we are. The restaurant front door is deep inside with ample tables and chairs on the outside available for dining. Maybe that's why I never noticed them. Anyway, they weren't too busy at the time. Inside was very bright with decent bench seating. They have a water station which is the perfect drink of choice to compliment a healthy meal. Restrooms are available. Their specialty is bowls, salads, and protein plates. Adequate number of protein, veggie, and grain choices. You can build your own starting at a base price and you add on ingredients for additional costs. Or you may try one of their very own chef crafted and inspired creations. Btw, proteins, veggies, and grains are cooked in 100% extra virgin oil and avocado oil... now that's the way to do it! We at first got the Miso Glazed Salmon thinking it was enough for the both of us. It wasn't that big of a plate unfortunately. So we ended up also getting the BBQ Chicken Salad. The lady behind the ingredients station was very nice, patient, and helpful. I probably asked a lot more questions than the usual customer. Thank you miss! For both of our plate and salad, the ingredients were very fresh. I can taste the quality, freshness, and lightness in every bite. Salmon slab was a tad small IMHO. Wild rice was light and delicious. Veggies were cooked to perfection. Ripple fries + garlic aioli were amazing, but fries weren't hot and crispy. Probably they have been sitting there a while... will have to get them again when they are hot or at least warm. Tortilla chips in my salad, now that's a first for me... it worked very well. Love it! The slice of sourdough bread that comes with each entree was good. All the sauces were very tasty and complimented the entree nicely. I will definitely come back here for more healthy meals now that I know they are here. Thank you sweetgreen for staying true to your craft in serving healthy and delicious foods! Funny, Tender Greens is across the street from sweetgreen. Who has the better greens? LOL

This is my go to for when I'm feeling lazy for dinner and don't want to feel completely unhealthy! I've been here more times than I can count and I have never had a bad experience here! Service is always quick and friendly and the interior/exterior are always clean and well kept. I had their steak once and I wasn't the biggest fan but their chicken is really yummy, and veggies are always so fresh! I enjoy seeing all the locally sourced products that they use on the sign in the dining area! If you haven't been I highly recommend you trying it, and if you're already a Sweetgreen fan this is a solid location!

I'm an avid salad eater. I can literally eat it morning, noon, and night if left to my own vices. I was excited when Sweetgreens made their West Coast debut and now they are more readily available in SoCal to visit. It's the Chipotle style of service where you meet your Salad Angel (not their official title), but that's what I'm calling them and they ask you how they can make your day exceptional. My exceptional day at Sweetgreens is the Hummus Crunch Salad where I get to make so many substitutions that the old-timer Angels basically tell me I just made a Green Goddess salad (RIP from the OG menu) and yes, that's what I'm basically doing. The dressings are so tasty here, especially the green gooddess dressing. I also cannot say no to the bread. Their miso salmon or blacken chicken are also the stand out proteins for me. Indoor and outdoor. Seating available. Parking is by street and can be difficult.

Overall, Sweetgreen salads are really good. The staff are friendly and orders are done on time. Parking in the Pasadena theater district area is terrible, so plan some time to find parking if you're just stopping by to pick up. It's the one reason why we don't back more often. The restaurant is in an old theater so it's not easy to see off the street but there's plenty of seating and it's always been pretty quiet and empty if you want to dine in.

Sweet green is honestly my favorite place to get a salad. Yes, $20 ish for a salad is insane which is the only reason this is not a 5/5 review. However, the salad portions here are HUGE and sometimes I want a salad and don't want to pay for a million ingredients for one meal. I have been eating here for at least the past three years and I have never had a bad experience. The dressings here are also very good and I like you can customizes the bowls in different ways depending on what your diet is.

The food here is well worth maneuvering this intersection of Lake Avenue and California Boulevard. I was surprised to see how many people were inside this Peruvian restaurant. As I walked, I noticed a patio section on the outside by the entrance. Once I entered there was a large counter that wrapped around to the side. There was a service counter with a staff member taking orders over the phone as well as assisting customers with ordering to-go food. Everyone inside was extremely busy. Tables nearby were filled with customers. The counter area also had Peruvian products, snacks, candies, and sauces conveniently displayed. There was a short line before I got to the counter to make my order. I was unfamiliar with the menu so I asked for some assistance as to what I should order. There were a few things that were not available on the day that I was there. But I was able to order a number of their specialties. I decided I wanted a half chicken. I was informed that Peruvian chicken has a completely different flavor and comes with a special green sauce. I ordered spicy and extra spicy. I also decided to have the garlic fries, a side salad, and their special beans. I had: -Pollo a La brasa, half chicken. -Song de Pollo -Canary beans with housemaid Aji Amarillo Paste -Garlic fries, side salad, diced cucumber salad. I had them add their special sauces for the salad dressing. And the French fries with a barbecue sauce. When my order was ready for me to take home, they double checked everything asked if I needed some extra sauce which I agreed to and I was on my way. As I left I noticed more and more people coming in as it was getting close to an early dinner time. They had been busy the entire time that I was there, about 25 minutes. The kitchen's fragrant smells permeated the entire restaurant. When I got home and unpacked my food, everything was still warm. Flavors from the food engulfed my dining/kitchen area. Everything that I ordered was exceptional! The chicken flavor was like no other chicken that I have ever experienced: moist and tender. The shredded chicken sandwich was definitely my favorite. The toasted bread was filled to capacity with shredded chicken. Green sauce was added and the flavor was complete! A great value. I enjoyed this sandwich for two meals....both hot and cold! The cucumber salad and the garlic fries were as expected, with the cucumber salad providing a bright clean flavor. I would rate Loli Farms as a great experience. I look forward to coming back and tasting some of their other flavors. This restaurant is sure to continue its excellent reputation!

The chicken was great and moist but not as good as El Dorado Pollo à la Brasa. Especially considering the wait! They have better parking, better service, realistic wait time, and quality.
