    Two Fried Eggs Bowl
    Chandra P.

Homegrown is always my go to when selecting a place to order lunch from when in Seattle. Returning to work and pumping in between appointments I crave meals that I can get a great amount of nutrition from but also able to easily consume while parked or in an office. I greatly appreciate being able to place and purchase my orders ahead of time online bypassing the line (that usually extends out of the door.) Customer service is always pleasant even when they are extremely busy. Another wonderful perk is the parking availability for pick up. If you're seeking a great wholesome breakfast, or lunch Homegrown is always a great option; I highly recommend!

    Avocado Egg and Cheese Sandwich

I went to this location today to try out their breakfast. They make everything fresh and offer many options for breakfast then lunch. I ordered the Avocado Cheese Egg Sandwich and it was so delicious. I love that they're vegan friendly for those that eat only vegan or plant based. The sandwich is so warm, fresh eggs, you can taste the yolk, with fresh avocado slices, and melted cheese to perfection. Every bite is so satisfying. Highly recommend this location for either breakfast or lunch. They sell cookies too and I got chocolate chip cookie it's very big size.

    Two Fried Eggs Bowl

Fried egg bowl, no, more like some McMuffin egg from a microwave, overall not terrible, just the price and the pompous crap ($5 orange juice, $15 for 2 eggs and a small batch of potatoes, don't talk to the employee behind the curtain just use the computer). Just skip it, hit Wendy's better and cheaper.

Coconut chia porridge - delicious and filling!

Needing a hearty vegan breakfast before a big day professionally, I stumbled out of my hotel and over to Homegrown. First impressions are important, and they knock it out the park. Everyone I encountered, from the woman behind the counter to the guy walking by to refill napkins personally said good morning to me! I just felt welcome and warm there, a surprise for an inner downtown core business. My food was exceptional! I chose the coconut chia porridge bowl, and it was delicious. It was also very filling, which was important for the long morning ahead. I can see myself returning to Homegrown when I am in Seattle. Two thumbs up!

    Pastrami Sandwich

Ooooh this place is dangerous for my bank account, yall. One of my worksites is near here and it's just too easy to get a quality meal made me quality ingredients (farm to table). First of all, the staff is super chill and friendly. They greeted me immediately when I walked in right at open (7am). But, what really got me, was their self-serve kiosk. My introvert/social anxiety ridden self jumps for joy inside. It was super user friendly. I ordered breakfast and lunch for myself for the day. It came to about $28 with tip. Not toooo terrible in my opinion for two meals. Well, three actually since I only ate half my lunch sandwich and am saving it for dinner. Win! I got the Two-Fried Eggs bowl for breakfast and got the Pastrami Sandwich for my lunch later. Both dishes were packed with flavor! I love bowls and anything with potatoes so that was an easy choice for me. I ordered my eggs cooked medium and they were perfect. I loved how thick the pickles were in my sandwich, and it held together really well through out the day. It was hard to choose a sandwich. They have such yummy sounding options. I will definitely be back! But hopefully I'm not tempted too often since it's a little pricey. Overall, great service, user friendly ordering (kiosk and online pickup!), and tasty food made with great ingredients. You can't go wrong.

The ube pancakes lived up to the hype! not too sweet, perfect texture, and a flavor that was so perfect. The combo plate was amazing and I could eat a ton of their lumpia. Ambiance is homey and comfy, with photos all over the walls and a lively atmosphere. The owner himself came to chat with us about the food. We saw him walking around and being present with plenty of customers and that added a very special touch. he even gave us a magnet souvenir to take home. Intimate atmosphere, friendly service, and the best fresh, locally sourced, farm/sea to table food. Then, we always get one of their salads - so delicious and unique. We love the BLT salad, this time the shredded beat and carrot salad was excellent, and so was the butter lettuce salad w/ housemade Green Goddess dressing. The soups are insane, but this time we tried the smoked sablefish with an unreal horseradish cream and beets. For entrees, we ordered the pork w/ nectarines (out of this world), moussaka and halibut. The host told us that we "didn't leave a phone number," even though we were never asked for one and were told to wait outside until she comes get us. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, she complimented my shirt mid-conversation, which felt like she was trying to brush it off. The entire time we were outside, we were the only people waiting, and we even saw her setting up the outside seating as the restaurant got busier. She never once checked in with us or said anything. The food was good, and our service once we were seated was great. Unfortunately, our first interaction with the host left a bad first impression and took away from the overall experience. We came in around 1:45pmish and it wasn't crowded. They had an amazing selection of pastries, though I didn't try any.
