We fortunately tried The French Pantry recently and came away knowing we had found one of THE…read morepremier sandwich shops/bakeries in the Jacksonville area. We arrived early and found that very quickly there was a line that was extending out the door. That was for good reason. This place is excellent. Great staff, impeccable food, fantastic service. Inside is clean, neat with hearty tables. The front features their baked goods as well. All fresh, all look delicious. I tried the Tiramisu for dessert. No pictures. It was that good that it made me forget. We dined in, and to do so, you order at the front, are seated and are served shortly after. When you order, keep in mind that they bring bread to the table. Two types of bread with a delicious mix of oil and balsamic that is ideal for dipping. Shortly after we received our food. We split the sandwiches between us and one order of truffle fries. The muffuletta was so meaty and flavorful. The bread fresh and the perfect accompaniment. The eggplant likewise was so delicious. I was expecting more of historical panini type bread but this bread was perfect and grilled. The truffle fries...crispy, bursting with flavor. Really generous portions here of next level sandwiches. If you're in the mood for a great sandwich or a huge salad, this is THE place for you. I highly encourage you to check them out. You'll be glad you did.

Went for lunch for the first time ever, and as usual there was a slight wait to order. Tried the…read moreturkey goat cheese sandwich and the chicken panini (no prosciutto). Both sandwiches were great but just extremely heavy - I definitely was in need of a serious nap after lunch. Had a side of truffle fries, but couldn't get through more than a few. The ambiance inside is somewhat tight and thankfully we were sat at our own table. The servers essentially drop the food off and that's it, so it's interesting as usual that they ask for a tip like we are at a restaurant with a real waiter/waitress. Overall, not a bad place, didn't get a chance to try the pastries/cakes which looked decadent. But for the price of the sandwiches and service, I'd say the value is pretty low.

From the moment you walk in, it feels like you've been transported to a charming café in France. The Nutella and strawberry crepes are absolutely delicious and a must-order. Their cappuccinos are excellent, complete with adorable latte art that makes the experience even more special. And don't leave without trying one of their freshly baked croissants--they're perfectly buttery, incredibly flaky, and melt in your mouth. If you're looking for a cozy brunch spot with delicious food, great coffee, and a beautiful atmosphere, this place is definitely worth a visit!

We sat outside and their outside area is super cute and spacious and it actually wasn't that hot being underneath the covering that they have and there is some breeze coming through. I order the same thing every time because I love it so much - the Le Germain. I also got the linzer matcha, which had an interesting taste. I've never had that flavor before and I just wanted to try it, but I don't think it was quite for me, but I usually do like their Matcha so I think it was just that I didn't love this particular flavor. But look how pretty it is I loved the purple and green together!!
